Great, great service is the reason for 4 stars. Pizza was just OK, but the folks around the food really made for a nice dinner. We only ordered garlic knots, salad and a cheese pizza. We'd get them all again. One child didn't want the garlic on the bread and the staff was quick to make up a single piece to make her happy. Everyone from the hostess to the server to the folks in the kitchen calling over to our table were great. Wish I could find the receipt to name drop as they really did make for an enjoyable dinner for the whole family. I'm not in the area a lot, but will go out of my way to stop by if this is how they treat folks they've never met. read more

Let me start off by saying this is one of the best tasting Pizza spots in Orlando. You get plenty of choices and food never disappoints. The service has always been excellent upbeat waitresses and knowledgeable greeters. Until today, there new hire some spanish lady with arm tats and glasses just gave us the worst experience. She tried to push on what we should order not what we wanted. Also refused to speak English, we speak both but favor english. Even after repeatedly answering her in English she refused to answer back in English. She didn't bring us a drink and cups until after we were done with our appetizers, no silverware. She just gave off the attitude of lazy. She was non energetic and just plain rude. This is one of our favorite places in Hunters creek I hope this changes. read more

Great place and flavor, but unfortunately their gluten free dough its far from perfection. We asked for one gluten free pizza and basically we received a cardboard with inedible corners. Gluten free does not necessarily need to be hard and flat. We've tried other gluten free doughs and it has never been this poorly presented. read more

No where in there did I say your employees name, but I did walk down to just a few doors to another restaurant named Padrinos who allowed me to use their restaurant only because I had to go, not for any other reason. A very nice, clean restaurant packed with happy patrons and their restroom was clean....It was being ran by pleasant, professional people. Your employee ran off customers, that's a fact. The meatbal pizza is fantastic. I got the small and the ratios were perfect. Also got the margarita pizza and it was loaded with that fake jarred garlic. Couldnt taste anything but garlic. Didnt eat that. Dont choose shortcuts and dice the garlic or just put one clove in the center. read more

I've been to the NYPD Pizza on Universal Blvd so this is the first time to this HC location. The pizza and the wings are good. The garlic knots s are very tasty! Our waitress (blonde older lady) was very nice and attentive. The young tall girl with the brown hair (Lauren) at the To Go station is super friendly and keeps very busy! When she's not taking the to go orders, she is back there, helping by packing up the to go orders or cleaning up. Lauren says bye to everyone and is just awesome! Unfortunately, the one girl with the curly hair at the reception area is very short with people and not friendly at all. When asked why we had to order before sitting down, she told us that we can always go to the other location just 12 minutes away. Very matter of fact and not friendly at all. To have her be the first face we see, is crazy. We almost left just because of her attitude. It's too bad, because everyone else was quite friendly. read more

Honestly, we usually love this place, but recently they have really been struggling with their take out orders. The process is horrible, when you call in an order, you have to wait in a line 20 minutes or more sometimes and while you wait your food gets cold. We order regularly (every week at least) from NYPD Hunter's Creek. Unfortunately, the service is not quite what it used to be. I even called to follow up after placing my delivery order through Uber Eats to ask for extra marinara dipping sauce for our stromboli. The girl that answered the phone said "no, it's not possible because we don't have a way to charge you on our end". Lol! Sorry my $80 weekly order doesn't satisfy an extra cup of dipping sauce. You offer the option for extra sauce on pizza, what is the difference? I get that this is a business in the money making industry, I respect that. But to completely disregard the request of your regular patrons is a little silly in my opinion. Perhaps you should update your menu on Uber Eats so you could have made an extra $1. I wasn't trying to get anything for free, I was just asking for extra sauce. read more

NYPD is located in the Hunters Creek area right behind the Ale House on John Young. I have worked in this area for about 2 years and different companies have been trying to come in and don't do that well, but I do see a log future ahead for NYPD pizza. I'm surprised it took me so long to get some pizza from here when I'm walking distance away! My coworker mentioned how they have slice of the day pizzas which are about $2.50, so I decided to order some for takeout. I ordered during lunch time and got 2 slices of the Pesto pizza which was the slice of the day and the total came out to be $4.26, which is such a deal because two slices of these pizzas definitely kept my stomach full for the rest of the day (and how can you go wrong with good cheap pizza) The pizza was cooked perfectly, it had the softness on top and crispiness of the bread. If I'm not going to say something nice, I won't say anything at all. But, another reviewer had the same issue I had and I really want NYPD Pizza in Hunter's Creek to succeed. Warren S. stated his pizza was a soggy sloppy mess. The pizza had too much cheese and it made it too chewy. I'm from Brooklyn and I know a good "New York style" pizza. I've been to NYPD Pizza in Utah and other Florida locations and I really like them. Please fix this, watch the chef ‍ ease up on the cheese make them as I've had it in other of your chain locations and you'll be fine. NYPD Pizza is good and I'm happy they're in Hunter's Creek. I stopped in to order take out on a Tuesday evening. The cashier was friendly and there was no wait. I ordered two cheese slices to go, it was ready within a few minutes. The pizza was good, crust was soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. They bake their pizza intentionally a little on the dark side and offer the option for you to request lighter. I liked it the way it was. I also noticed they have a Tuesday special, I'll post the photo. I was hungry so I didn't think to take a pic of the pizza until after I demolished it, sorry. About 15 minutes after ordering and paying for pizza, calzones, and drinks the manager came to our table and told us that my young daughter couldn't eat the sandwich she brought with her as she didn't want pizza. It was explained to us that outside food was not allowed. I asked the manager if she expected my daughter to watch us eat while she sat there hungry? She responded "yes, it is the restaurant policy." We took her up on the offer to refund our money and leave. I'm still stunned that the restaurant would be willing to lose not only a sale but a frequent customer that has spent thousands of dollars since this location opened. All of this because a young child couldn't eat a sandwich. It's a shame because we have enjoyed a lot of GF pizza through the years but this restaurant clearly doesn't value me as a customer. As we left the restaurant my daughter was tears thinking she had done something because of the way were treated. Section below added in response to business owner. I appreciate the response as now the rest of Yelp can see how little you value your customers. You had an opportunity to show grace but you chose a "policy" over customer service. My family and I visited this NYPD pizza location for dinner one evening. We have a pretty picky family so everyone was happy that they had pizza and pasta. The garlic knots and fried pickle appetizers we quick and delicious. The fried pickles were better than most other restaurants. They have a 2 pizza deal on Tuesday. If you order a specialty pizza you get a cheese pizza of the same size free. We had Margherita pizza and the free cheese pizza along with a ravioli! Everything was amazing. It was definitely authentic Net York Pizza. Service was quick and our server was great! The pizzeria itself is in a central location to the theme parks. read more

Decided to give this place a go. Wow, definitely not disappointed at all! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our server Nicole was very nice and accommodating with making suggestions on things to order depending on our tastes. When the food arrived it was just an incredible portion of food. I ordered the Swat Team Stromboli and it was just massive. Worth it completely I have to say. Since it was our first time going, everyone ordered their own thing but next time we can share and it'd be enough. Definitely needed to go boxes (and I hadn't eaten most of the day). My parents decided to order cannoli for dessert. From what I could tell they loved it. Practically devoured it between the two of them. The only thing I'd suggest for a better dining experience is for the servers to not take on too much of possible. They are great, but a little slow. I get the food it's being made fresh but an update would be cool that way we're not just sitting there wondering what's taking a bit. That could just be me, I don't know. I'll start by saying the service was really, really great! We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in and the server was super attentive. We weren't missing any utensils or napkins at any point and our drinks were always topped off. The pizza itself wasn't my favorite but it also did not taste bad and it was not under or overcooked.
