Chicken entree
Gary P.

Stopped downtown again at O'Bricks Pub and Martini Bar the cocktails are fantastic and priced just right the food was once again the highlight of our evening the soup of the day was an extremely tasty rich she crab soup which was very enjoyable , my partner had the special of the evening a Chilean sea bass over a light corn risotto which she said was excellent and I had the chicken entree with artichoke hearts sun-dried tomatoes overtop of garlic mashed potato's and side of sautéed spinach the kitchen and bar at O'Bricks just rocks and the professional friendly service matches which makes for a perfect evening. The dining room offers a pleasant ambiance and you will not be disappointed

Snickerdoodle martinis

I've been here many times, as it's my dad and his wife's favorite restaurant, and they've ordered just about everything on the menu with almost no complaints. We came to celebrate my birthday on a Martini Monday, and it did not disappoint. Our server was wonderful and spent time chatting with us, which made the experience even better. The décor is always beautiful and upscale. We started with the firecracker shrimp, which was very crispy while still juicy and packed with flavor. We also may have had one too many martinis--my favorite was the pear martini (I can't remember the exact name), and the snickerdoodle martini was a group favorite. Special shoutout to the GM for letting me try his personal salmon meal. I didn't expect anything extraordinary, but it absolutely melted in my mouth.

Lobster mac n cheese

We were recommended this spot about 7 years ago and it is a MUST every time we come to Florida. Food is absolutely incredible, such fresh fish and quality ingredients. Bread and oil starter is perfect, and the firecracker shrimp app is our favorite! Service is so quick and friendly, you truly feel like you are at a five star restaurant without the crazy prices. If you can sit outside, definitely do! Great atmosphere!

Short rib special

Had a very nice lunch here today with two friends. One enjoyed the soup and half sandwich, one enjoyed the mock lobster sandwich and fries and I had the special, short ribs, potatoes and carrots. Great service and would definitely go back!

We stopped here for lunch while in Bradenton and were pleased to find it. It was almost 1 pm and most of the tables were still occupied which is saying a lot because it's a big place. My Fish Tacos ($22) had a lot of fish plus some cabbage, cilantro and a sauce. We also had the half sandwich, half soup ($11) and a diet coke ($3). Service from Shaun P was very good. If you order the shillelagh sandwich, bring a big appetite. Atmosphere was like a big pub but the noise level was low. They have a large bar area and separate dining areas. Very highly recommended. It's near the riverwalk so finding a free, street parking spot can be a challenge but pay lots are nearby.

Peanut butter pie

Despite being an Irish pub by name, the selection of menu items was not specifically Irish. They did offer an outstanding shepherds pie and fish and chips, but it was the other items that were a surprise. They stuffed banana peppers were outstanding, not short jalapeños, but 6-8 inch long each with a cream cheese filling. The pesto served with dinner rolls was a surprise. They have an assortment of some of the most affordable burgers in the area, and the Parmesan red bliss potatoes were cooked to perfection. The wait staff was very responsive to our needs and we had a table of 8. The room we were seated in did not give off an Irish vibe, but was very well decorated to match the Bradenton beach area. Very nice place to spend our last evening in the area. We finished with the peanut butter pie, which did not disappoint. Would dine here again.

O'Bricks is a premier destination for exceptional martinis and delicious cuisine. Their lunch menu features a chicken salad sandwich that is truly 'to die for,' and the monthly featured martini is always a creative must-try. With a staff that is consistently friendly and welcoming, O'Bricks has become an essential stop whenever I'm in downtown Bradenton.

Beyond burger

5 Stars for an exceptional meal with a great atmosphere and a full martini section of the menu! We had an evening to kill in Bradenton and had a local recommend O'Bricks. As we arrived, we were excited to see outdoor seating and were able to grab our own high top outdoor table. I appreciated the lighting in the table (attached to the umbrella) and the location was great. The menu had a ton of appealing options, including a veggie burger featuring a Beyond patty, which I was stoked to see because most menus don't have great, proteinaceous options for the vegetarians. I ordered the crab cake because of all the reviews that highlight the quality and I can tell you they are spot on. It was cooked perfectly and felt substantial and uber fresh! My favorite part? The martini section of the menu! There is truly an option for everyone, whether you like gin, vodka, or tequila.they also had seasonal options! I opted for the Naked espresso martini (made with espresso, some coffee liqueur, and I opted for tequila rather than vodka). It was a bit sweet, but I think most people would love it (I'm a bitter gal!). Overall, I would definitely return and recommend this spot to others!

The food was delicious, with a wide variety of daily specials to choose from. The martinis are excellent, and they even feature a different specialty martini each month. The service was fantastic--our servers were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The cheese-stuffed peppers appetizer is absolutely amazing! This is one of our favorite places to eat because it's always consistently good. We've had a great experience every single time.

Dirty Martini

Giving this places dirty martinis a 5 star! Asked for an extra filthy martini with blue cheese olives and it was out of this world. Incredible!

Caesar salad (small)

Great experience at O'Bricks! Came on a recommendation for Martini Monday and it did not disappoint! I walked in for dinner and snagged an outdoor table. The martini Monday specials were awesome! I opted for a classic dirty martini with bleu cheese olives and it was fantastic. They also had several daily specials including a crab-stuffed scallop, which I opted to have for my meal along with a small Caesar. Everything was delicious, even the fresh bread! Will definitely try again and keep trying the martini menu!

Gazpacho. The taste is very close to perfect but the serving style is off

Staff including management is rude. They are old school and not welcoming. I would look for a spot that is a little more inclusive.

Friday, January 16, 2026 - Two for a burger bite. Not before the FST show…read more (GOSUB to the **** for the meat/burger of the review ((smile)) ) I have reviewed about 30 restaurants in and around Sarasota since 2021 when we moved down permanently and are members of the FST. On this Friday night, nothing was going right. My wife was delayed at school etc. So then a delayed departure from Venice, a false stop at Mad Moe's for a burger in Osprey (PACKED) and then a direct shot and parking across from FST we hope for a quick burger or something at the bar or restaurant at FST? But it was PACKED and they weren't serving any more???? We threw our tickets in the trash because now we could not make it back in time, (( frown :-( )) So a walk to Main Street to see if Patrick's or anybody might have room for two? NOPE. and we were walking along and THERE WAS BREWSTER's GASTROPUB!!!!!!!!!! For some reason I have 128 restaurants on my Sarasota Favorites list and Brewster's was not on it? I checked them on as I entered??? Looked VERY full at the bar, and most tables were full but it looked like we had a shot...... and there was a four top high-top!!!!!!! WIDE OPEN!! I think the no table service might be the delineator. We weren't looking for a sit down "dining" and full service gig. Nor did we need the overhead and pomp and circumstance of a host/hostess, army of bus staff, a waitstaff and being waited on with drinks and water and etc? ******** We came to EAT GOOD SIMPLE FOOD and have FUN. **** And that's what we did!!! "Todd" at the bar was friendly and fantastic. All the bartenders and staff were helpful and friendly. The "security guy" when he saw me at the bar for about 20 seconds helped me get some ketchup. Zone defense and team effort!!!! I got the signature Brew Burger and a side of Street Corn and had an endless glass of water w/ lemon I think I had Todd fill about 5 times. My wife and I bantered about what the Street Corn would be and we were happily surprised with the authentic Mexican Street Corn (elotes?) on the cob with a stick and a delightful creamy Chile, garlic, and Cotija cheese sauce I think. (problem is we gobble them up before we could figure out the exact sauce composition here. BUT it was very tasty. 10/10 The burger (for this adult usually nutritarian plant-based eater) was EXACTLY what I had hoped for. A wonderfully fresh an warm brioche bun, fantastic angus burger, cheddar and a "secret sauce" . I got lettuce onion and pickles which are standard...... this was VERY VERY VERY tasty. only quip is I will opt for sauce on the side and its was a little too much sauce. This was mega and uber better than some greasy Five Guys or Smashburger or any of that stuff. 10/10 My wife got the Shroom & Swiss Burger that had a wonderful portobello mushroom on it nicely cooked, terrific angus burger properly cooked exactly as we ordered it, she loved the blue cheese perfect amount, She also felt a bit TOO much of the secret sauce, but its pretty tasty so not a catastrophe. This was also an AWESOME burger!! 10/10 The sweet potato fries were not crazy greasy and perfectly crisp but not crunchy for fries - good, cross-cut and obviously bulk bag. Cut or sliced would be nicer but of course not expected, its a side. 7/10 The place is clean and glassware and silverware perfectly clean. The counter/bar service is fantastic. I had to make a few trips for ketchup and place ware and etc but hey when your wife gets one of the better vodka cranberry w/lemon and club in a large tumble for $9 instead of $15 or $16 for a 6 oz martini glass with 4 oz of watery drink........ its a home run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With all the TVs and sports that is probably the summary of my review. Brewster's Gastropub is a Grand Slam for food and service......and especially burgers!!! Bravo Zulu.
