I had the lemon cedar plank salmon, broccoli and baked potato. The salmon was really good with a dash of lemon, the broccoli was very bland, the potato was plain as well. I haven't been here in a while so I decided to go. It was a Monday and they had happy hour specials and daily specials which included $3 Margaritas $5 chicken tender nachos and $4 queso and chips It wasn't busy so I decided to sit at the bar, but the hostess said it was a 20 minute wait. I gave her my name and said OK. Mind you, I agreed to sit at the bar because it was not busy and there weren't a lot of people there. I waited a few minutes then I proceeded to ask her why was there a wait just to be seated at the bar. She then responds saying, she really didn't know but the bartender who's name is Zay told her not to seat us yet until the group of women pay and leave. I waited another 10 minutes as I'm looking confused as to why we had to wait for them to get up and leave. Another server then walked by and told the host to seat us and not to listen to the bartender because it was wrong and he had no authority to tell her that. By this time, I'm already saying strike two. It took him forever to come and take our order! I ended up ordering the Margarita special that was supposed to be $3 but was charged $5 I also ordered the chicken tender nachos and queso and chips. My friend ordered the steak with asparagus and macaroni. He said it was just ok. We had to wait extremely long for the food to come out. He finally brought our bread and butter right before the food came. (It wasn't all that either) I felt like he really needed some assistance and should have asked. I wasn't too pleased with the nachos, the drink was ok and he never brought out the queso dip. Overall, I was very disappointed. When he brought the checks over, I instantly saw that I was charged full price for the nachos. After bringing it to his attention, he made the corrections. The bar area was a hot mess. VERY NASTY!!! I have been a fan of O'Charleys since 2005 when i first lived in Atlanta. My fav dish the Cedar plank salmon. Thank entree makes me hum and dance in my seat while enjoying it. It brings a smile as it arrives to my table! I get it with a double order of season steamed broccoli and whipped butter on the side. They serve warm yeast rolls when you are first seated and i have no complaints on the alcoholic beverages nor the customer service. I never seem to catch them too busy these days. Definitely a vibe here! Dj the bartender is really personable. She's good at reading her customers & she customizes each customers experience. I like that she has an adaptable personality. Chanel the manager came by to check on me & everyone else at the bar. She also has a good personality and a really pretty smile. Normally I sit with CC but I haven't stopped by in a while. She came by and checked on me too. She remembers all of her guests & she's pretty popular. Everyone requests her. I recommend any of their margaritas. I had the strawberry margarita. It wasn't overly sweet. It was very well balanced. My food was hot crisp & delicious. The stuffed crab and fried shrimp, definitely recommend. I paired mine with a house salad and added red onion. Ate here recently for my daughter's birthday and everything was wonderful as usual. We typically visit O'Charleys one or two times a month. Sometimes we even have birthday dinners here in my family and they are excellent about accommodating huge parties. I normally order the New Orleans Cajun chicken pasta but on this visit I ordered the 6oz Sirloin steak with sweet mashed potatoes and macaroni. I didn't really like the macaroni , but our waitress switched them out for me with no issues. My husband had the pasta this time, and it was delicious as usual. And ohhhhhh, the rolls and my homemade strawberry lemonade were delicious too. My daughter received a free dessert for her birthday as well. If you've never ate here, I would definitely try it out. Everything was delicious. The food came out piping hot. The service was excellent. I love eating and ordering from O'Chaley's.

From the time we walked in to when we left it was horrible. The host was not at her station to greet us and when she finally came over she was rude. Our server was trying her best but it took 20 min for us to get bread and we had to ask her for it or we would have never gotten any. Then we ordered our apps that took 25 min to come out. When she came to our table with them she was already apologizing about the potato skins saying she asked the cook to take this back because it's burnt, but he told me "that's how they all supposed to look" Then me and my husband ordered our food. He got the steak and salmon with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I got southern chicken strips with brown gravy mash potatoes and broccoli. His salmon was dry and hard on the bottom the Mac and cheese was microwaved and dry, no cheese or sauce just noodles clumped together. AND the plate was hotter than the food. Everything was flat warm almost room temp. My chicken tenders were way over fried hard and dry my gravy was coagulated and just like my husbands dish the plate was hotter than the food. My mashed potatoes were almost cold. It took our food 45 minutes to get to our table and there were only 6 other people seated and 4 people at the bar. While we were waiting the 45 min for our food I was watching the pick up order costumers getting mad because they were not being acknowledged and some were given the wrong food. I saw 1 woman showing the kitchen manager her to go food after she received it and telling him it was unacceptable. She handed it to him and he said "well I don't want it" and she replied "well I don't want it either" he should have taken the food and thrown it away. His manager skills are atrocious. Meanwhile my husband can see behind me the front door and people are waiting 20 min for the host to come over to seat them. One couple even walked in trying to find some service after waiting 15 min at the door and sat at the bar. The couple behind them waited another 10 min when the host FINALLY came over and sat them. Everyone around us were growing more and more impatient and getting upset. The tension was thick in there. My husband and I go to this restaurant regularly and this was the worst experience we have had. We tip our server $20 because she was really trying her best the cooks and kitchen management were the ones at fault. We asked her if they were short handed she said no so we asked if D was there (we know her, she's a manager) she said no she's not here it's Floyd back there. So Floyd if you are reading this I hope you enjoyed your Papa John's pizza I saw you trade food for at 8:45 more than the food you served me and my husband. Always good food. Very safe environment for COVID precautions. Manager is always friendly and makes sure that your experience is good. Danielle F. was our server today, and she was excellent. She anticipated our needs, was friendly without being overbearing. Our drinks were always full and everything was done with a smile. Even with her mask, she smiled with her eyes. Out to dinner with my boyfriend. Scrolling through yelp and stumbled across this place. I was a little skeptical because it only had 3 stars. But decided to try it anyway. There was no wait and we were sat in the bar area. Our waitress Rebecca was nice by seemed a lil over whelmed. The food is actually pretty good... although my boyfriend didn't like the Mac n cheese. It was bland and not cheesy enough. We both ordered salmon. I got the cedar plank with loaded baked potatoes and broccoli. When I asked what all came on the potato,he mentioned cheese sour cream chives and bacon (sounds about right) I asked if it was bacon bits or real and he told me bacon bits smh! Why serve the cheap imitation if you have the real deal. I ended up declining on bacon all together. We also ordered cocktails. I got the island margarita!! It's sooo good. My salmon came out seasoned well and juicy. Cooked to about a medium-well temp. Overall everything was fine but nothing was over the top or stood out. I ordered for curbside. Positives - 1) Server was clearly busy - but friendly. Negatives - 1) Chicken was undercooked - not pink - but it was hot and rubbery. Needed at least another 2 - 3 minutes in the fryer. 2) French fries - were soggy, cool and dark like oil needed changing. See pictures. See photos. 3) Price - meal was $9.99 on app and website - but $10.99 when I arrived. $1 dollar is not a big deal - but I don't like the 'bait and switch.' See photos. The server said she was aware of the price issue and had reported it multiple times. O'Charley's is a big enough entity that I don't see how / why the website and app haven't been updated - so it seems like a deliberate thing to make folks think they're getting a 'deal.' 4) Final note - I haven't been back here since my experience with the rude server - but just like every other visit - I always say 'no bread and butter' - and they consistently give it to me. I just really don't care for bread like that - so it always gets handed back to be thrown out by a staff member or I wind up throwing it away. It seems pretty wasteful. And I imagine there are several folks like me who don't want bread and butter with chicken tenders, burgers, or a club sandwich (lol). read more

Came here with my girlfriend. Just wanted to try somewhere we hadn't been. We were skeptical because of the ratings but the food was good. Our waitress Rebecca was nice. We both got salmon and we both enjoyed our dishes. I got the Atlantic grilled salmon with the bourbon glaze, broccoli, and mac and cheese. Personally the Mac and cheese could be seasoned more. It was a bit bland but pepper gave it a better taste. We also got drinks. I got an absolut mule and my girlfriend got the island margarita. Both were good. The margarita was actually pretty big. Almost forgot about the complementary bread, which is really good with the butter. The overall experience wasn't spectacular but it wasn't bad either. read more

The only "bad experience" I can think of from this place was from my friend's perspective. We came here awhile ago. I ordered a burger and mashed potatoes-- *off-subject* I'm starting to realize a theme with me. I always substitute fries for mashed potatoes. :/ lol -- anywho, my friend ordered a salad... *facepalm*. I'd never order a salad here.. or most places, for that matter. The lettuce in her salad was brown, some pieces were whittled, and the pieces of chicken were minimal and looked so pitiful. I can't count how many times I burst out laughing looking at the salad but she didn't want to return it for fear of someone doing something to her food. My food was pretty good, however. On another visit, I ordered the chicken tender lunch platter with mashed potatoes *surprise surprise* that had bacon bits sprinkled on top along with macaroni. No complaints with that. It was actually a curbside pick-up and they brought the food out to my car promptly with the little debit card machine in hand. Very convenient when you have a sleeping toddler in the backseat. :) I've gone a couple more times since and each time, it's a decent experience. Bleh. I didn't like any of my food. Inside the restaurant smelled like wet carpet, definitely not a good smell.

Went here with my family after leaving the movies. A friend had told me that kids eat free here everyday and she was right. Kids eat free for every adult meal purchased, so it worked out, we had 3 kids and 3 adults. But keep in mind beverages are not included with the kids meal, which is $1.49 and no free refills on milk. Our server was really nice and seemed to always be paying attention. She refilled drinks regularly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was good. We were all really happy. And guess what? We spent less here for dinner for six than we spent at the movies for popcorn, candy and drinks! We will definitely be back. Great place for kids and no one had a complaint about there food. read more

I have been a patron of this O'Charley's since it opened. The food is usually very good, even when indoors was closed and they went to all take-out the food was very good. I'm not sure what their internal procedures are but on my last 4 taken out orders, using their app I ordered extra dressing for the salads but each time I would get home and open the lids, no extra dressing. It's very aggravating to order $12 and $13 salads with extra dressing and come home only to find that they weren't in the order. I never had this problem with Michelle and Deanna. They were always careful to double check the ordered before delivering it to the car. I read more

Make sure you check your orders if you're doing takeout because if you don't and your order is wrong, they will not correct the situation. I called the Austell location to let them know that my order was wrong and the manager had the nerve to say oh no, ma'am you must be mistaken. I'm looking at this order and it's not what I ordered. My experience here was AWFUL! The wait for our food was atleast 1 hour from being seated. The drinks alone was 30 minutes. The waitress mixed some of our entrees up, was non communicable with the hold up of the food. The whole ordeal was horrible. Do not recommend this location. read more

What a nice experience of great customer service from bartender and the restaurant manager. They were attentive and responsive to our hot sauce needs... we all love hot sauce with catfish. My baby had the chicken salad with drizzled with chipotle sauce. Delicious and healthy.(per interpretation) We had a slight discrepancy with our tab as the appetizer was miskeyed in price but the FREE pie Wednesday saved the night and the immediate correction made it easily to leave with a satisfied wallet and tummy. .... the only thing was the bar's counter top smelled like it was wiped down with a dirty rag.
