I always love the food at this place . It's a dive bar so you kinda set your expectations where they need to be. The burgers are delicious , they seemed to have recently changed the homestyle fries but they're still good. I enjoy playing the jukebox and playing a game or two of pool. The bartenders are usually very nice and don't mind having fun conversations. The last time I came here there was a rancid smell of were which was very off putting but other than that, this place is great

Pretty impressed. 3 pieces of fish and chips and slaw was $11. Fish, Onion rings and beers for 2 came to $50. Small selection of beers on tap. Full bar. Bartender works the room taking care of everyone. Small place with 8 or tables inside and about 4 outside and bar seating. Gets a little noisy when the pool game starts up.

We kicked off the evening with Jameson shots before diving into the menu. Our group ordered a mix of the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, while I opted for the corned beef tacos. Every dish was excellent, the corned beef is incredibly tender and literally melts in your mouth. If you want to try it but aren't up for a heavy sandwich and fries, the tacos are a fantastic, flavor-packed alternative that I will definitely order again. The drink selection was equally impressive; the beers were great, and the Irish Mule was delicious. Emma provided outstanding service throughout the night. She was attentive, kept our drinks refilled, and offered excellent menu recommendations. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots, and we will definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Next time I'll get photos since I failed on this trip because I was visiting too much. The photos are from a previous visit when I got fish and chips and Shepards pie to go.

There was only a couple of people here and the environment seemed to be very laid back. I was surprised to see all the seating this place have. It's very unique the set up. I ordered a Pilsner and half an order of Fish N Chips with a special request of the chips being well done. I was surprised how good the chips was. Perfectly season with a nice crunch, and the fish was good as well. The beer on the other hand didn't taste good. I probably just got a beer I'm not interested in. I typically like pilsners and was surprised how light this beer tasted. Overall service was good and food. I would recommend coming here if you want an authentic English experience.

I can rely on Guinness on tap, or a nice selection of other European beers on tap if I'm not fancying a Guinness. The last time I was in was on St. Patrick's this week, and their food offerings were three meat eater choices. I had my heart set on one of the vegetarian pasties they used to have, but I knew it was a holiday so what was available was going to not be the regular thing. I don't come often enough to even know what's regular anymore. I don't eat meat, but I did have my Guinness so no harm done. I really like the choices of seating, between tables and chairs, the bar, booths, stools, benches, and outdoors. It can get pretty busy, but never so much that I've ever felt boxed in. There's a bit of a bottleneck to get a drink as the path to get past the bar is narrow, but staff are really great at working through those requests quickly. So, basically this is my go to if someone suggests a pub atmosphere. Every day. Ok not every day, but I had to throw that in ;-) They don't have a full bar, only wine and beer. Parking is typical East Sac, street parking, no meters. Bathrooms have character.

Definitely a chill place to hang out. The food was decent. But I definitely won't be going back for the food. My husband ordered a English breakfast and I had a new Yorker omelette. We shared a berry scone. Our food came out cold. Not lukewarm, stone cold. And the thing was, it didn't take too long for our food to come out. My husband ordered his eggs over hard and the eggs were cook correctly, just cold eggs. Banger was cold, grilled tomato was cold, beans and mushrooms werec old. Everything on his plate was cold. Nothing inside my new Yorker omelet was cooked hot (Salmon, cream cheese, capers), but the egg omelet itself was cold too. The omelet was cooked separately and everything else was added on top and folded. I was expecting the omelet to be at least warm, but it was cold. The food tasted fine. The scone was the best thing we ate there. The scone was also cold, but I wasn't expecting the scone to be warm. Overall, the atmosphere and staff was great. The food, not so much.

You won't find crowds of people clamoring for the bar to get a drink or other less desirable things detracting from the atmosphere. My gf made resy's for after dinner cocktails. We sat at the bar and enjoyed chatting with the bartender and watching his mixologist skills in action. I was only going to have two drinks here, but watching him craft these artisan cocktails made me want more. I started with the Porn Star Martini which is appropriately named for the champagne ball which explodes bubbly in your mouth- perfect to spoon into your mouth after a sip of the martini! Next up was the Cereza Grande! I watched the bartender make it which was the point of enticement. Loved the sour cherry flavor and citrus fizz! Then, I couldn't leave without tasting the Hibiscus Sunset which caught my eye first. The hibiscus and mint combination was a beautiful, invigorating libation and a perfect ending to my cocktail tasting journey. I noticed there is also a tasting menu here also.
