The employee was shorter in stature and was working the sales floor at the time. He made direct eye contact with me, but instead of acknowledging me or offering assistance, he simply turned and walked away. I hope management can review who was working in that area around 5:00 PM and address the importance of basic customer service. I was ready to make purchases in the store as a visitor to the area but left disappointed by the lack of assistance and unprofessionalism. Really I shouldn't have even bought anything at all in the store. Reminds me of an employee working at a high end luxury store who encountered someone whom they thought would not be able to afford anything in the store. And this is one of the only locations that is open for the Rocky Mountain chocolate factory, which I always have to get a caramel apple. There's tons of parking. Walking around to the different shops has a shaded covering. There are bathrooms that are air-conditioned. And maintained. Every single one of these stores is dog friendly. And some of the people in the stores give away dog treats. We will always be back whenever we visit the beach.

She also proceeded to vent how the store would've only solicited us on the monthly since she felt we were not justified in our decision not to share our personal information. I would have been inclined to come to this store again for our workwear but the nasty attitude left me with no desire to return.

For North Face, I feel like that's a pretty good deal. I ended up getting a fleece-lined jacket, because silly me forgot to pack a jacket. The store is pretty large and well-maintained, and there were about 4-5 workers there that day. We were able to find what we were looking for and were in and out of there in 10-15 minutes.
