Came in on a Sunday, completely lost, since usually I don't do anything that has to do with the car... anyway I got to the counter and a young nice guy named Jose helped me figure out which rear wiper my car needed. Not only he helped me but also installed it for me. As someone not familiar with cars I truly appreciate all his help and patience with me. The store was well organized and stocked very well. The only thing is the lack of customer service. No greeting and the attitude of the of one of the employees of needing better customer skills. I know the get minimum wage and act accordingly. You should rate your employees,, and weed out those that don't treat the customer with respect. I will still shop there but won't have that particular customer rep wait on me. No thanks. Remember auto zone is next door. read more

My car battery died within two years of purchasing it and I went into this store for assistance. Gil was professional and provided me with excellent customer service. I had purchased my battery with o'reilly's in Sacramento. So being out of town had worried me. But he made the transaction smooth and even assisted me with the installation of the battery. I went in the store looking for a ratcheting screwdriver that would telescope. I wandered around for five minutes, looked at a few items while I waited for the two EMPLOYEES at the counter to finish their conversation. I waited in line behind employee #2 for a minute before they were finally done conversing. #2 walked out the door and #1 walked away from the counter and called two other employees to help at the counter. When another employee finally showed he began speaking to the woman that walked in 8 minutes after I Did! Never will I walk in these doors again. read more

Very careless ! I was sold the WRONG headlight despite me informing them on the year make and model of my car. I went outside to replace my headlight and learned it's not the right one. Of course they were closed when I tried to walk back inside (i never drove off) I went around to the back and heard them in the back talking with the lights on. I knocked and knocked and told them they gave me the wrong headlight and of course they didn't come to the door ! ANOTHER man that was in there the same time as me bought headlights for 60 bucks and was given the WRONG headlights too ! Useless to complain to the manager seeing as one of the two employees is the manager. Now I can't drive home an hour away because I have no lights ! Thx a lot read more

Darrell does not have good customer service at all. That's the last thing you want for your company when he works face to face with customers everyday. He was rude from the start, from when we called to see if they had the part to us going into the store to get it. My wife and I went in and he gave us the part and when I got home it was the wrong part. No big deal we can just exchange it. So my wife went down their and another gentlemen helped her and he was very nice. But Darrell was being rude and made a few rude comments. I get it people can make mistakes and can give people the wrong part but to be rude about it and not apologize nicely is not great customer service at all. read more

I'm really ignorant when it comes to auto parts. I was flustered and out of sorts when I went in today for a headlamp. Angel greeted me as my feet crossed the threshold. He found my part, checked my car to make sure the product matched, and when we shut the hood, the light came back on. I have a sneaking suspicion that Angel is really an "Angel"! read more

Basically, I was told to purchase the wrong product even though the correct product had already been set aside for me. I don't know much of anything about cars. I go into places tell them what I need, give them my car info, then have someone else deal with it. This includes oil, windshield wipers, cabin air filters and anything else I have needed for my car. When I go into an auto parts store, I expect that the person READING FROM THE COMPUTER will give me the right product because I have no idea what I need. All that being said, I came here because the store on Deer Valley didn't have what I needed (blue coolant, who knew they had different colors? I didn't). They made arrangements for me to pick it up at this location. They called and made sure it was in stock and had them hold it at the counter for me. They were great! When I got there I let the sales person know I needed the blue coolant and that it should be on the counter, someone from the other store had called. By the way, this sales person was an Assistant Manager. He brought it over and asked if I was sure this is what I needed. I told him no, but that this is what I was told to get by the person at the other store. He informed me it was not correct and showed me what I should get instead. Ok. Sure. I have no idea what I need so if that is wrong then thanks for the help. When I gave it to the person who was going to put it into my car he told me he did not think it would work, but he would call around and find out what I could use. We found out it was the original blue one that the guy told me was wrong. So I had to go back to the store to return the wrong one and buy the right one. I was very frustrated. The only reason they get 2 starts and not 1 is because the person who helped me when I went back was very friendly and apologetic about the mistake. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Went in to purchase brake pads. The woman at the counter was very talkative and extremely helpful...or so I thought. Unfortunately, she was so talkative I neglected to pay attention to what she charged me for. I purchased the brake pads and when my boyfriend took them out of the bag the next day - low and behold, looking at the receipt I found out that I also "purchased" brake rotors - but I DID NOT purchase brake rotors nor did I receive any brake rotors. I went back to the store on Monday to get a refund for the rotors that I did not purchase and am being given the run-around. Was told I had to talk to a manager since the rotors are no longer on the shelf. So went back on Tuesday and the manager was not in again. This time was told he would view the video tape of my purchase on Saturday and get back to me. I never expected to be ripped off by shopping at this store. I will update when (and if) I hear back from the manager. UPDATE: Had to go back a third time - no manager again, but was finally issued a refund. Will never shop at this store again. read more

First off let me say this. I often don't get very good service when i walk into Kragen/Oreilly's no matter the store but there are a few people in this store that deserve some praise. I am a Mobile mechanic and there is seldom a day when i am not buying parts for an upcoming job. The employees i am writing this for offer a service that is difficult to match. They almost always have my parts ready for me to pick up so i don't lose more time waiting in a long line. They are very professional, prompt, and quick at facilitating the sale. This review is for Jessica, Mike, Kelley, Jordan, and a few others I cant think of now. Keep up the great work and thanks again. You guys should be running this company. If any of the top brass read this you need to get rid of those 70's style receipts. Theres a reason society advance to thermal paper. read more

This kragen is a joke!!!! To start off the employees here are rude period, there where a few people standing in line waiting to be served and a few employees horsing around and yelling back at each other, all I have to say is there is no respect in this store, the customer in front of me was upset about a price that was on the battery rack for a battery witch wasent even the right price of the battery but kragen would not honor there mistake....
