Then a guy who worked there help me put in the batterie. The entire process took 10 minutes. I am waiting at the front register for a few minutes, and the cashier is helping someone else he then walks away from the customer and walks around the store aimlessly and asks me, 'DO I NEED HELP BOSS'? I said yeah when you are free! He said something and then got mouthy behind my back with the other customer thinking i could not hear him! The other cashier is staring into space I asked can I get some help? They acted like I was bothering them! He answers my question I got my items! But before I left the person that called me Boss first starts making comments about my jersey and he said something not once but three times! He lied to his manager about what he said of course to save his job! I told the manager about this she said very sorry! I asked for a 20-dollar gift card if she they still wanted my business and she had to call me back to verify this and then she called back only to say they don't do that lol! No worries 20 dollars gift card and I would have brought you more revenue but now you get a bad review on yelp, and I will take my hard-earned cash to the auto store directly across the street and never go here again! My fuel pump went out suddenly as l was approaching the corner of Harbor / W. Leland. While broke down in the intersection l immediately ran into O'Reilly's for help. 2 of the employees Santino and Alexis stopped what they were doing came outside and began helping me push my truck into the parking lot as I waited for AAA . My transaction was a simple return but it turned out to be a little annoyance. I just had to return a bottle of freon that I did not need but purchased from another location a week prior. The clerk examined the bottle as he should and even shook it. It was clearly never opened. Maybe they have had scammer in the past but it doesn't seem likely on a $12.99 product. I pulled out my credit card as he scanned it and I saw it briefly on the tiny screen but then it went away. He said I did not need my card and it already credited. I asked for the receipt but he just gave me the old one and said its back on my original card. I was in a hurry so I left. Three days later, it did not show activity yet on my PalPal Visa so I sent in a ticket to research. On the 5th or 6th day it showed up finally. It's not much money but it was annoying to have to check for principle reasons. Otherwise, there store was organized, clean and the transaction was fast. My engine light came on during the weekend at night. I was so lucky to find Jacob working at O'Reilly Auto Parts that night in late February 2022. I thought my car needed oil, he left the store( someone else was working hat night too) He checked my oil, it was fine. He asked if I'd like him to read the check engine light code for me. I was delighted to be able to find out what was the cause. He came back to give me Code PO455(Evap Leak) Usually means a large vapor leak, sometimes the gas cap being off. He was helping me get an oil but it seems like he just woke up or something cuz he didn't even tell me where to get the item. I called this O'Reilly's (yes, O'Reilly's... Not Kragen anymore, folks!) at around noon on a Friday to order a replacement for the glass for my passenger mirror. Surprisingly, they said they could have it in by 4 that day and that someone would call me when it arrived. (Actually, I called myself around 5:30 when no one had called yet and it was there and they called me later to let me know it was in after I had already made the pickup. No biggie though.) Unfortunately the part didn't fit because I didn't realize my passenger mirror was missing another piece. Fortunately I tested it in the parking lot so after I realized my error I just walked back in and got a simple refund. The folks at the counter are friendly, funny and know their parts. Woke up to a dead battery this morning (I thought my battery was going bad), jumped my battery to get me down to O'Reilly and this wonderful lady Deby not only tested my battery to make sure that was the problem but even took the time to replace it for me and might I add extremely fast as well!! I bought a thermostat for my car because the check engine light came on.the lady looked up my make year and model of the car and proceeded to show me the options to choose from.when I told her which one I wanted she went to get it and came back with it,took it out the box to show me and it came in a bag I didn't suspect nothing cause she works there and is supposed to know the parts.I was told to return it and buy the one from the dealer ship so when I went to return it turned out that I couldn't cause supposedly that wasn't their part. I decided to speak with the lady that sold me part and told her that she opened the box and even saw the bag but didn't say nothing. then she processes to lie and say"I didn't open the box and see a bag even if I did I would've sort of remembered".then a worker named Eddie said "that's a part from Amazon we can't do nothing about is boss" so the quote on quote right thermostat they sold me magically grew legs and replaced it's self with a part from Amazon.SHITTY workers if they knew it wasn't their part why wouldn't they say something about it before selling it read more

Do yourself a favor and go to the Autozone right across the street. They're much more knowledgable and helpful than the staff here. I needed a new oil pan plug and my old one seemed larger than the standard plug. The first time I was sold the manufacturer spec'd plug was an honest mistake; yet after explaining what happened the staff member made no adjustments to her diagnosis based on the new information after looking at the old plug herself and just sold me the same sized plug again. Well after having 5 quarts of warm oil dumped on me because the plug was too small my vehicle was stranded with no oil in it or functional plug. I called, hoping it was possible to have a larger plug delivered, since my vehicle was now stranded with no oil or functional plug, per their recommendation, and the gentleman I spoke to said they only deliver to businesses but that he would speak to his manager for advice on a larger plug and said he'd "get in my car and take it over" (direct quote; I live less than half a mile away). He seemed sympathetic until he got back on the phone after a lengthy pause and his demeanor changed saying they wouldn't sell me a larger plug since that's what the computer tells them and even if they did there's no way they'd deliver it (despite assuring me he himself would). His best advice was to call a service dealer (which would have required a tow truck, my vehicle being completely indisposed as aforementioned). One step into AutoZone next door and the staff member immediately recognized my old drain plug as having been rethreaded once before, which was why it was slightly larger. 5 minutes later and I had the correct oil plug and my vehicle is running smooth. The experiences were night and day. If you want knowledgable and adaptable staff that know the ins and outs of an automobile to really get what you need go to Autozone next door; if you want a cashier for some turtle wax this place isn't too bad. read more

This place had the best customer service I'd experienced. Usually you get one or the other: selection over customer service. I got both when I went in today. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted and offered help right away. It was a slow time of day so I was just free to browse as I chose. I laughed when an employee rode a cart to the back filled with stock items. Pretty funny. Anyway as soon as I was finished I was helped right away. I needed simple windshield wipers and Chris helped me out right away. He was kind and knowledgable. Went right away to get what I needed and rung me up front right away.
