Bob is the total man! Headed to Fresno for Thanksgiving and the coolant light came on right before the climb up the grapevine. Bob came to the rescue and helped me find the coolant and even helped me put it in the car. Turned out my cap was loose so once the coolant got to the minimum line the sensor went off. Bob showed me how to find the line, add the coolant and everything. My husband went here to get windshield wipers and a light bulb for his headlights. The clerk immediately offered to put on his windshield wipers for him. Then another clerk, Mario, who was off work offered to help him with his headlight! Both men went to work. Then after taking apart the headlight, the realized that my husband bought the wrong bulb. Mario offered to go back in the next day when the new lightbulb would arrive to help my husband fix it. My husband didn't end up needing the help and he was able to do it on his own. But MAN you cannot beat customer service like that! He was absolutely floored by how willing both of those guys were to go above and beyond to help him. my car battery had died and i went in to get my battery tested. I went with my dad on june 21st 2024 and the first young man seemed like he didn't want to help us and just told us the battery is good and just needed charge after he did the test on it and then proceeded to go inside the store and then Brent came outside and suggested us to buy a new battery and leave my old battery to get charged and tested the next day. He even helped my dad clean the wires and proceeded to install the battery. Brent went above and beyond to help us and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and overall great. i came back the next day and Brent retested my current battery and the starter and the alternator and since they're not good gave me a quote for those parts and suggested a mechanic shop. Brent deserves a raise and definitely will make a great Manager. read more

Hey had a very good experience at this O'Reilly's the assistant manager Bryce helped me out quite a bit I had left my gas cap at the last fill for my RV before I started rolling didn't realize I lost it till I got ready to fill up and it was gone didn't know my parts number for the gas cap or anything like that Bryce looked it up he had about five or six different ones that would fit it so he walked out to the RV with five or six different gas caps and he gave me the one that actually fits he went out of his way to do that which was pretty cool that's what I call pretty good customer service so it was up to me I give him a plus plus for stars thanks man read more

Started a spontaneous trip to NorCal and my AC decided to die on me. I thought I ran out of coolant and this store was the closest one. Went in the store, about to purchase a coolant, until the guy in the counter probably picked up that we didn't know what we were doing. LOL. He offered to check what was wrong and he said my car needed freon. He gave it a few pumps, told me that it should be enough for my whole trip and advised to have my AC checked soon. Horrible. I bought batteries for an RV 9 months ago. They are always charged and maintained. I took a trip to the high sierras and the batteries were dead and wouldn't take a charge. I had to pay $400 for 2 new batteries at the local service station because that was all that was around and closest Oreillys was 3 hours away. Now oreillys won't refund my money for a faulty product that failed to perform and left me stranded away from home. The store manager was uninformed about how automotive batteries work and not willing to accommodate me when their product failed during the warranty period. I finally salvaged my broken mirror and hopefully my superglue works....Time to buy another deep socket adapter. I found out that there was a Kragen near my work....OOPS...I mean..O'Reilly. I still consider Kragen my store since they saved my butt a lot of times for my automotive parts. Good thing, my work had tools so I can try what I need before I go to Kragen because my visit might be my last. So, I decided to use my lunch break to go to Kragen....I mean...O'Reilly. The location is perfect especially with all the truck drivers stopping...sleeping...and probably get some tools if they break down heading north. I walk in the store around 12:10pm and I head straight to the section. I still can't believe tools are so damn expensive. I got myself another GM Performance Part. Who knew GM would save my Import car!! I got a 1/4" Drive and 10mm Deep Socket. A small piece of metal cost $3.99. Geez...that's the price of a deli sandwich at Ralph's. As I was about to checkout, there were two gentlemen ringing up the customer's order, an old guy, and some guy who keeps yawning. **YAWN** Dang it...I yawned. I was worried that my credit card wasn't going to work because of my McDonald's incident...TA DA...It worked. My total was $4.38. I had 40 minutes left for lunch...Off to get a Slurpee.....Hopefully, prices for tools go down in the future.....Probably not.... Have Fun here and Keep Yelping!! read more

This store always seems to have a large inventory, it's rare they don't have something I need. The major problem is that no matter what it is, windshield wipers, engine parts, fan belts, or screws they can't seem to match the correct part with your vehicle via their computer system. If you need something make sure that you do research on your own or bring the old part with you so you already know the part number or size that you need. My mom & I encountered just that tonight on our way back from Bakersfield to Orange Co. midway while coming thru the Grapevine an oil warning message came on our BMW X5M. We stopped off the freeway at a 76 station and via BMW assist got directed to O'Reilly's on Castaic Rd. I went inside Tim was the first associate to greet me. I explained my problem he stepped right up to assist and go the extra mile with exceptional customer service. He determined oil the car required and even came out and put it in the car for us! Although both BMW and Time figures we were fine to drive without adding oil , we preferred to be extra safe. Huge life saver and we were beyond grateful....Tim didn't have to go out of his way but certainly grateful he did. The warning message disappeared...we were back on the road and got home safely.
