Let me start this out by saying I have an older car, an 05 Buick Lasabre, It's one of the only…read moreassets I own, so I do my best to take extra good care of it. After the 1st time I went here for a service 3 or 4 years ago, I knew I would be back again for any subsequent service, because my perception of the staff at Knorrs Automotive is that they're very hard working and trustworthy. My lived experience matches up with what I felt in my gut pretty seamlessly so far each time I go there to get something fixed or looked at! I've had some bad experiences in my life with mechanics as I'm sure everyone does, but NEVER at Knorrs, they do the services I need, competently, and at a proactive pace (For the repairs I've needed with my car), for a reasonable price. I have nothing bad to say about them at all and would recommend them highly. They're busy so if someone seems curt or brief on the phone don't take it personal, but do take your vehicle in for service!!!! I'm from West Pgh and I'm thankful to have Knorrs Automotive in my neighborhood!!!!!! Thanks to all the staff who is making it happen down there!!! I just got done getting tires, an oil change and some other pre-winter services and I rode all the way home with my head in the clouds, bc I wasn't stressed about my car!!!! That's priceless!

His answer was that means they are luggie. I asked again what does that mean we did this for about five minutes finally he said they are snow tires they gave me the runaround were completely unprofessional total jerks I would never go there again if my life depended on it oh and they kept going outside to check my tire size because he didn't believe I knew what I was talking about probably because I'm female he said I'll go check the tire size I said I gave you the tire size he seif I'll go check again

This is a review on the snyder brother's in carnegie. Please do yourself a favor and never go…read morethere. i needed some work done on my exhaust. i dropped off my keys on 9/11/17 in the morning. A couple of hours later, i received a phone call from them. they quoted me a price that i believed to be exorbitant. i thereby declined their services. on 9/13, i went there in the morning to get my keys. i was handed a key whose remote was cracked and had holes on every button. i told john (one of the workers there) that my key remote did not look like this when i handed it to them a day and half ago. instead of trying to figure out why my key was now broken, he told me the lady who checked-in my key can TESTIFY to the FACT that the key remote i handed to her had holes in it and was cracked. come to find out, the key they handed to me earlier was'nt mine and when they found my actual key, there were no holes nor cracks on it. i understand that mistakes happen but i don't appreciate being accused of lying and being lied on. By the way, i received no apology for their mistake. Please stay away from these people.

This review is on Snyder Brothers in Carnegie. If I could give this auto shop 0 stars I would…read morebecause they don't even deserve 1 star. I went there on 9/27/14 to get new brakes on my car. I noticed that they took longer than expected (close to 2 hours when they told me it would only be about 30-45 mins), but I didn't think much of it. When I left my car appeared to be driving fine until the next day (9/28/14). I was on the highway and heard a loud banging sound come from underneath my car. When I went to brake, I couldn't and realized that I LOST MY BRAKES ON THE HIGHWAY!!! By God's grace, I was able to get to an auto shop without causing an accident. When I got out of my car, the mechanic immediately noticed that the outer part of my left brake pad came off. After a complete diagnosis was done, it was determined that my left caliber wasn't installed correctly back onto my car resulting in the bolts and caliber coming off while I was driving. I also have pictures of the caliber dangling underneath my car which looks crazy. The mechanic even said he never seen anything like this before. Obviously I was very upset and did receive a refund from Snyder's, but their attitude was VERY RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC. The mechanic (Steve Corbly) that SABOTAGED my car wouldn't even look me in the face and just shrugged his shoulders and said 'I don't know what happened'. The owner (Dan) even admitted that Steve's behavior was unacceptable, yet he still works there. To make matters worse, the owner told me that Steve had the NERVE to try and flip it and say that someone else tampered with my car. So I guess someone just went underneath my car in the middle of the night and loosened the bolts on my caliber...REALLY??? This was a completely RIDICULOUS statement especially since I have an alarm on my vehicle, and never had any issues like this before. They are just trying to cover their mess by making up nonsense, which really PISSED ME OFF. I don't usually right bad reviews, but Snyder Brothers need to be exposed because this could have been a tragic situation and they could care less about my safety!!! Any auto shop that's more concerned with protecting the faults of a mechanic than the safety of its customer needs to be shut down immediately because the next person may not be as fortunate. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!
