This Oreillys is extremely helpful and very organized! Not like the cluster they have over on Tustin and Collins. The guys here are dope and actually HELPFUL! Whoever is in charge of this store is doing a great job! The fact that the sales people here get you in and out and even help you speaks volumes in regards to their management! This place is the one! Im never going to the one on Tustin. That one needs to shut down or get restructured, because that one is straight cheeks. Especially the women workers there. When I came into the store I spoke to the boy Abel and he spoke to me as if I was bothering him, he was very condescending and rude. He also spoke about me to the other team member as if I wasn't there. Overall it just made me feel not great trying to get some help with my car. I came here when I was in a hurry leaving town and car started having issues as soon as I got kids and everything all loaded up and on the road, we had to be back in AZ in time for an appt that evening. Came here to get antifreeze with my dad who spoke spanish. Guy at the front rings us up and my dad asks if he speaks Spanish and he does. He then proceeded to ignore my dad completely as he was asking something about the product and looked outright annoyed. First off, this is not a review about the employees. The star is a reflection on my purchase. I have always received good friendly service from this store. I have shopped here when it was Checker Schucks Kragen and even spent considerable time with their principals in Phoenix at the motorsports races they sponsored. I am a professional mechanic. I have wrenched on just about anything that has a steering wheel and also farm equipment, bulldozers, what have you. I went to the store this week to purchase disc brake pads for a Nissan Altima. They offered items labeled their "import" brand. Once home I noticed the hardware provided with the shoes, way different than original. Different in construction, strength of material used and configuration. I thought then the durability of the original mounting hardware was sufficient and not compromised so why not stick with that. The pads sold to me were different, The tabs that secure the pads into the caliper assembly were smaller. I would have to use the new hardware. Well the new hardware did not match the description on the box. It was made different. It was a much lighter material, stamped out with a machine and formed into this shape. It was flimsy. This material was thin sheet metal vs the heavier gauge material of the original ones. The new hardware did not fit snugly onto the caliper assembly, the "tabs" that were to hold the pads were facing the wrong direction. I spent a few hours trying to figure this out and finally returned them to the store for a refund. The employees were courteous and helpful, that's a good store to shop for stuff automotive related. CSK it isn't.O' Reilly has secured some vendors that are supplying an inferior product. A quick trip up to auto zone and their "Duralast" pads came with original hardware and were installed within 15 minutes start to finish. I don't know much about other items O"Reilly sells and again, they are a good store, BUT they need to take a clear hard look at the brake pad supplier. Oh yeah, Duralast pads were priced less and were an exact match. You decide. read more

Before arriving at the Chapman O'Reillys store I first stopped by the O'Reillys off Collins at around 8:10am Sunday morning 8/24. I needed a new battery and was looking for a place with installation. I was told they didn't have enough employees to support and I was told to try the O'Reilly's off of Chapman. It was pretty slow and I saw two employees but I didn't think anything of it and I went to Chapmans store. When I arrived Jose was working and was the only employee in the store, he happily offered to install my purchased battery and I was in an out within 10 mins. I appreciated him taking the time to support even though he was short handed for the day. I hope O'Reilly takes the time to recognize and compensate the employees that go above and beyond and reevaluate the work ethic and willingness to support customers like some of their employees at the Collins O'Reilly store. My best friend and I went to O'Reilly's for some windshield wipers and an air filter. Jesse was the best very friendly super attentive and helpful. He looked up the parts for her car model right away and they didn't have one of the parts that my friend wanted so he gave us a better brand for the same pricey very nice. He also said he would be happy to help us install the wipers and he will try to install the air filter which he ended up doing both. My battery died while at another business in the center. I popped into O'Reilly, was immediately greeted by a super friendly crew (I believe by Freddy and another person that I did not catch their name), and explained my issue. They let me borrow a portable battery jump starter, no questions asked, and said once I got my car started to park in front of the store and they'd do a battery test. Further, they said they could replace the battery for me if it was indeed dead. The portable pack worked like a charm and the diagnostics confirmed my battery was dead. I purchased a new battery and they swapped the old for new in about 15 minutes. My only complaint is they refused the tip I tried to give (probably corporate policy?) so instead of that I'm giving them this review. read more

I've been going to O'Reilly on Chapman and Prospect for all my auto parts for over 8 years because everyone there are so helpful. Today, I was taken cared of by Thomas and I was very happy with his service. He is very pleasant and very helpful. I purchased a battery about a yr ago and it ran out of juice because my car was sitting in the garage for almost a year. The battery was still under warranty so he swapped it out with no questions asked, unlike other places I've been to in the past. I don't know much about cars except driving it. He gave me some good tips to keep my battery in good condition if it gets parked for a long period time. There's a Pep Boys and Auto Zone near me in Yorba Linda that I've gone to in the past but I didn't get the welcoming feeling like I did at this particular O'Reilly's in Orange. I literally hate this store, if I could give negative reviews I would. They never call you to tell you your parts arrived even when you ask them to when it's urgent. They NEVER answer their phones without me calling at least 5 times. I haven't ever had a good experience with any of the employees there when coming in to buy a part or look for something. No one is knowledgeable there, I really don't know how this store is open. Because I got no help I relied on the little machine to tell me what size wipers to buy, totally wrong, and to try to exchange it you have to give them name phone number... a total hassle. Finally just returned the wipers and went up the street to AutoZone where they were $5 less and even installed them. O'Reilly was rude. read more

I was told that they didnt have it in stock, but it would be delivered to the store for me to pick up the very same day under 2 hours at 4:45pm! Wow talk about great service! I really love going into this auto parts store. I have been helped many times by Ken with various tips on how to keep my car car running smoothly and little tips on what to look for when changing smog parts. He has given me great tips on how to change the parts so they don't cause problems or what else to look for. He has given me sound advice on many things. They have a rewards program and offer good discounts on maintenance products if you watch their ads. They don't have a bunch of out of stocks because every time I need a part they have had it. I love O'Reilly since they carry most of the parts for VW. My last visit was no exception. I came in with a car battery that was dying. Ken immediately assisted me and even replaced it. Once he replaced it he ran through my purchase history and guess what my battery was replaced due to it still being under warranty! Talk to you with straight disrespect and couldn't can help me find a lightbulb for my cars turn signal. Easy for them hard for someone that doesn't know cars to the full extent.
