Wouldn't you know that times have changed and O'Reillys will test your battery, but they cannot install a new battery even if it's purchased from their automotive department since My 7 year old car has a touchscreen, apparently, if anyone installs a battery, they don't have the right cable to update my touchscreen computer/stereo and the whole stereo can break?! Goodness! Scary to think my battery died during the pandemic and my neighbor changed it for me. Lol, we had no problems and that battery is dead and I'm fixing it now. Lol. Nevertheless, the gentleman was sweet enough to test my battery, and turns out my battery was dead, so I figured there was no point in going back to AutoZone where I purchased the battery three years before and I just went to Wheel Works off Saratoga/Keily! They were able to give me a battery and install the battery in 45 minutes for a really good price!!! I'm giving them a four star merely because they informed me of a bunch of new information that I had no idea about in regards to my seven year old car. Lol the gentleman was very nice and helpful and I'm glad he didn't let me buy the battery and try to install it myself since I know how to change out a battery. Went in because I had to jump start my car three times this morning. The assistant manager came to my car to check my battery, turns out it was bad so I purchased a new one. He had a rough time trying to take my battery out because there were parts covering the battery and then he couldn't slide off the silver part on the black side but he was still going at it for a while. He tried EVERYTHING he could think of to make sure he got everything off and he finally got the battery installed and my car now works! If I could give this place a -10, I would. I was looking for a spring for my camper shell and he looked up the part number and couldn't find it. I asked him if possible could he take it back there and match it up? He replied that I wouldn't fit without even going back to even look. The other guy that was working next to him, asked if there was a part number and of course there was, but it's not in their system so his reply was " do a Google search". I called these guys to ask about their own product, the tub of O'Reilly's wife's and I described it over the phone as their tub of wipes in yellow and black container. I asked the guy on the phone how I could use the wipes best to clean the outside of my car. Do I have to rinse the car afterwards because it looks greasy once I use them.... he said I don't know what you're talking about... I asked if he was familiar with that product of theirs... he said I wasn't being specific... I said it's a tub of wipes that you guys carry that can be used for cleaning the exterior of a car. Do you know how to use them effectively for that?.... the guy just paused in silence... I said, i'm not sure you understand the question I'm asking can I please talk to somebody else? This particular location is a poor representation of the O'Reilly brand. Lazy, sloth-like, and incompetent customer service. I walk up to the cash register and asked the O'Reilly employee, Wa***, if he could assist me with purchasing a car battery and installing it. He goes, "what?" Lol, I repeated myself. "I want to purchase a car battery and get the free installation, please." Wa*** looks up a car battery and doesn't share any options with me. I challenge him to show me more than one brand of battery. He cannot. At this point, I give in. Just charge my credit card. He rings me up and hands me the battery. I look at him and ask about the free installation that I had mentioned earlier (and pointed at the "FREE BATTERY INSTALL" in all caps and bold letters paraded all over the walls). Here's the kicker-- "We dunno how to install batteries." I ask him to give me a refund. "Uh buhh...ok," he says. A nutless monkey could've been more helpful, tbh. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Horrible customer service. Placed an online order early morning for parts to come in at noon. Received a phone call saying that they are not arriving at the said time because the driver did not pick up the parts and that I would have to place another order for it to arrive the next day. Wasted my time and had to place another order for my parts. Somebody is not doing their job. They could have offered at least a small 5-10% discount for their mistake. O'reilly needs to do a better job in training their employees and teach them how to treat their customers when they are at fault read more

I asked if it was ok to come by at 5-5:30pm he said that was fine that they stop doing installs at 8:30pm. I showed up at 5:30pm and the man at the registered told me he couldn't install my battery for me that I could only purchase it there. When I asked why I was told otherwise by a different employee all he said was "I don't know why they're doing that, it gets busy in here" and turned me away.
