Moral could improve. When I walked in, there was an employee speaking obnoxiously loud about his health problems. After the customer he was talking to left, he didn't offer help or greet me. I waited about 5 mins to ask a question because he was fiddling with random gadgets behind the counter. I asked about engine oil, he told me, "Just any of them will work." I'm a female who won't rely on google for car stuff. Although I looked lost and confused, he was dismissive & quickly went back to his gadgets. read more

Once inside, you feel uncomfortable, neither do they tell you how you are nor are they pleasant.. I paid at the cash register and I'm waiting for him to return my change, and the guy who served me is called Chuy. He's not nice, he's rude and he tells me to wait for him to serve another man who was waiting behind me and that man finished and I, who paid before him, was told by that idiot Chuy to wait for the rest of the money that he should have returned to me immediately. I waited 4 minutes for him to return my change. nor did he thank me for waiting patiently. I don't write bad reviews unless really warranted so I feel bad for the other employees for what I'm about to say. The employee who served me today when I went to purchase a simple car battery for my little brother was beyond disrespectful. First, he spoke condescendingly to my brother for the way he carried the battery. It was NOT tilted or on its side but the employee decided to give a very rude and unnecessary sermon to him - while insulting his shirt!! After that was over, we awkwardly waited until he brought the battery over. He couldn't even break down the price for me. I asked why the core fee was not taken off and he started arguing with me about it. Another employee had to come over and tell me in simple terms what he could not. I don't remember his name but some people are well known for their behavior so you will know him when you walk in! read more

They will ask for a password and when they cant get it they will try to lie to your face saying that the item is exempt from a military discount. Like i just didnt see you try to ask for a password? They will also put you on hold for a long time when they dont know what they're doing and have someone else answer only to hang up on you. They genuinely dont give a shit about customers. read more

Had a great experience this evening! Made my first visit around 7:00pm to purchase a new car battery. I've never actually had to deal with a dead battery before, which is sort of crazy to think about. The initial associate made sure I was aware that I would want to have a temporary charge available to hook up to my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. This keeps the car on "life support" while your changing the master battery. SO, I left and gave the Santa Fe a jump start before heading back down to their store around 8:30pm. I worked with the second staff member upon my return and he actually took me through the full battery change outside the store. The whole experience made me feel really good. Super courteous staff, very friendly conversation while he handled swapping out the battery and I learned something in the process! I'll go out of my way to pay these guys a visit in the future! read more

I came to this shop cause my Jeep had a check engine light on. I asked for them to check my code so I knew what to get fixed. Hell I might have even bought the part thru them. They told me they will give me the scanner but won't do it themselves due to COVID. Yet they took it from one customer held it and then handed it to me. No cleaning or sanitizing the unit. So you won't plug it in and use it yourself so you now only you have touched it, yet you will let everyone who comes in touch it and use it outside with no masks or anything. If you want to be safe then be safe, and I will too. But don't use the illusion you are safe. I went down to autozone and they checked it one more time to be safe (did it themselves), and I bought the part I needed. Way to lose business, but hey at least you where safe right. The front desk associate was unkind and declined my request to use the bathroom with the reason "no public restroom". I was clearly a potential customer (based on my clothes/appearance). Well O'Reilly's Auto parts at Oracle and Prince just lost my business I called there to find out how cheap a battery how much a battery is the cheapest one for my car and the guy came back and told me it was over $200 and I was like well I'm not going to pay that for a battery and he goes good you don't have to come here then real snotty and snarky like I mean who does that it's up to me if I want to go there or not and for a worker to be snotty and snarky to a customer like that I know it's commonplace these days but not all people are like that and he would just lost my business for O'Reilly's and I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars there I'll just go to AutoZone because I'll tell you what I don't need that and I hope you're happy because you lost the business there I didn't catch his name but then I called back and a guy named Randy answered and I asked him you know I told him and he goes he didn't say anything he goes well I can transfer you to a manager and I said okay well I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and he just put me on hold they weren't going to answer I know that so to make a long story longer I will never go to that O'Reilly's Auto parts again this is pattycakes read more

So upfront the prices at O'Reilly's aren't the best, you can get cheaper stuff elsewhere. HOWEVER. I walked into this store on a whim to pick up a few items and was completely surprised to be greeted by an all female staff. As a lady myself, visits to an autoparts store searching for items have met with thinly veiled condescension from the male staff as they offer unsolicited advice and often make me feel like I don't know what I'm doing. Being greeted and helped by a female staff was an entirely different experience and I LOVED it. Please hire more women!! To be able to chat with another woman about cars and repairs is incredible. These ladies were so helpful and sweet. I failed to get the name of the girl that helped me figure out the products I needed, but she was in her 20's with dark hair and she said she also had a toyota camry a similar age as mine. They held a part for me called in by another store and were all friendly many people to help multiple customers were behind the counter. I signed up and applied points from the O'Reilly rewards card. Better I think than the AutoZone due to you don't have to make multiple $20 or more before tax purchase in a certain amount of time deal. Instead it is $5 off when you reach 150 points and I have over 70 with this purchase alone of the wheel bearing assembly for my car. I've heard their parts are better quality also than a competitor. read more
