We were here a couple weeks ago and loved it. We are both east coasters and couldn't believe we found legit east coast pizza on Vashon of all places. I think I liked it even better than Big Mario's which is my Seattle spot for as close to east coast pizza as you can usually get out here. We hung out in the back bar area, which is not unlike the back bar area of the Lower Queen Anne Big Mario's, but with cool 70s pinball machines instead of the wall of VHS tapes. Anyway, we loved it - old school vibe, great pizza, and great beer. We will certainly return next time we're on Vashon. read more

Yum, authentic New York style pizza on Vashon Island - a wonderful find on a cold, drizzly day! You can't help but wander in when the delicious aroma of freshly made pizza instantly makes you hungry as you walk by on the sidewalk. Do yourself a favor and get a whole pie (or two!) - the generous portions make this a real treat to share with the family! Good slices but inconsistent. You gotta make sure your pie just came out of the oven. They get tired and cardboard fast. Service in the front is pretty poor. The training manager is great but he is training an ever changing group of young folks who just seem oblivious to their surroundings and how to handle situations. While I just get slices and that is hard to mess up, I've seen them screw up important or significant orders that had been called in. Pizzas lost or done wrong. I've seen this on three different occasions which is a lot since I've only been there 14 times in the six weeks they have been open. Which also means we gotta give the place a chance to mature. They are a new joint and it's only fair to note that. If you love dark bars, don't miss the one in the back. Great music. Good staff. Decent drink prices. The hippest place on Vashon for the 20-30 year old scene. Don't miss out on their non-pizza items. They have an array of meatballs and salads and cheesy things that are pretty stellar. Pro tip: Park in the back and go in the back door. Way easier than trying to find parking on Vashon Highway through tow Update: Had a lame experience again last night. We ordered a calzone off their takeout menu by phone. Was told I could not get the veggie calzone on the phone and was disappointed but accepted the ham and ricotta. Fine. When we got there to pick it up and eat dinner on the beach was told that the calzone was not available for takeout even though it was on the takeout menu. We also got a Caesar salad. It was passable. But the leaves were full sized romaine leaves. How the hell you gonna eat this salad as takeout if you don't also have kitchen shears with you. It was awkward trying to eat it on the beach and we both managed to get the dressing on our jackets trying to make it work. Still love their slices when hot and the bar in the back but it's getting to the point that something goes wrong every time we go ****** Dang. And, apparentlythey have started to close early. The best part of this place was that it was the only place that would serve this late without a commitment. And we are standing here at 11:32 in front of the place and it is a graveyard. Have been there 4 times during my short August trip back to Vashon--all for single slices that are as "big as your head" as the person who took my order explained! Melt-in-your-mouth delicious! And what was even MORE delicious was the whole pies. I ordered 2 for a party and the Napoletana was to die for! The tomato sauce had that "kick" that gently lingers... while whole roasted garlic cloves burst with flavors along with the basil and anchovies. OMG! (And the leftovers are just as tasty in the morning!) Having lived in NYC decades ago, I've always loved NY-style pizza. Just picked up two full pizzas here, and I'll start by saying if you want a pizza with 1-2 toppings that's custom it shouldn't be over $25 but I went in wanting no cheese and 6 toppings and they charged me individually for each topping ending with a total price of $43 for one pizza. They had some of the toppings listed that I chose under they're $3 topping menu but proceeded to charge me $4 for some of the topping because they were also listed on the fancy toppings menu. The pizza was super spicy (not sure why because even the plain cheese pizza was spicy) and had hardly any toppings on it, at the very least I had expected for the pizza to be loaded for the price of $43 for one pizza. I'm not sure if it's just because the business is just new but they should have a set price for custom pizzas up to 5 toppings instead of individually charging for each topping. read more

I feel like Switzerland with the Yelp review war going on with this place but I think 3 stars is accurate. I really like the spicy sauce and I like the crust. I feel like the pizza is a bit over priced especially once you start adding toppings but everything on Vashon is spendy and this place is less expensive than The Rock. The atmosphere is too chaotic and noisy. The place feels really crowded with hardly any people and when there are more than about 3 people there's a huge wait for a whole pizza. Stopped by here on the way back to the ferry terminal. As a native New Yorker, I'm very skeptical of getting pizza when I'm out and about because I'm super picky and critical when it comes to pizza. Let me tell you...this pizza was delicious! Told my wife that this is the best pizza I have had since I moved to the west coast. I got a slice of a pizza with sausage, peppers and mushrooms. It has a crispy crust with lots of crunch, but not too thin that it would fall apart. The second slice was a goat cheese and jalapeño that I did not eat, so I cannot critique it at all. The only surprise was that two slices were rung up at $10.50, which I thought was a little high, especially since the pizza place near our house has small pies at $9.99 each. I was tempted to go back and grab another slice before we left, but didn't want to delay our trip by missing our ferry. Overall, I'll definitely be back next time I'm on Vashon. read more
