    Szechuan chicken
    Maria C.

We ordered Szechuan chicken and Thai basil chicken. The Szechuan was better than Dragon Palace's. The Thai basic was meh. It was like they cut up 2 onions and 1/2 a pepper with the chicken. Wayyyy too much onion. I love onion, but how about some other veggies? The sauce didn't have that zing that other Thai basil sauces have. I guess I have to stick to a Thai restaurant to get that, but havnt found a good one in NK. Everything else with this place was good so I would go back to try their sushi.

    Decent gyoza

So it's been quite a while since we last tried O Sushi, and I'm happy to find that it's food quality has improved greatly! The sushi and sashimi were fresh and well-prepared as was the appetizers and sides that we ordered. Good gyoza, seaweed salad, and miso soup. It's not blow-you-away sushi, but it certainly holds its own among the other area sushi spots. I'm still not a real fan of its interior, though - I still find it rather dark, cavernous and soulless. The place needs a make-over for a warmer, more intimate space.

a plate of food with broccoli and rice

Best asian restaraunt in NK and EG side of RI next to Raka. Service is always friendly and prompt. Food always comes out fast and fresh. The bar area is modern and clean and so is the silverwear, glass wear which is 1 thing I always look at as it tells you alot about a restaraunt. Everything I've gotten has tasted good. General tsaio's to sweet and sour along with basil beef and chicken. Also portions are good sized and most could make 2 meals out of those plates mentioned. I recommend the generals as the breading is flaky and crunchy where most restaraunts its all batter. Drinks are flavorful and strong. My go to is the Grape Crush and dessert drink I'd recommend the chocolate covered martini.

Sushi lunch- Philadelphia roll, California roll and spicy crab roll. Not pictured- salad with delicious ginger dressing and miso soup.

We began with spring rolls (VERY good - chicken and shrimp) and sake, and the sake program deserves special mention. We selected a very enjoyable $38 bottle and noticed several other bottles at lower price points, along with a wide selection of canned sake--many around $11. Some diners may balk at paying that much for a can, but they will happily pay more for a mediocre glass of wine at half the volume. The value here is actually quite good, especially for those looking to explore sake beyond the ordinary. Our entrées--the ramen and chicken katsu--were excellent. The ramen featured a rich, deeply satisfying broth, while the chicken katsu was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender within. If you want a "hotter " ramen - the have an add on for a buck. Service was warm and attentive, reflecting the pride that often comes with a family-owned business. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, allowing the quality of the food to take center stage. Bristol is fortunate to have Sakuratani. Strong Japanese dining options can be hard to find outside larger cities, and for a restaurant only a year old, they seem to be doing many things right. We look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu--and their sake offerings. Highly recommended.

I visited Mori Sushi last week, and was shocked I had not heard of them sooner. I loved each and every roll, but the stand out's were the Godzilla roll and the Volcano roll. Both very unique and must-gets. All of the fish we had was so fresh and I was super impressed. The prices are on the higher side, but reasonable for what you are getting. The actual restaurant is in a small plaza next to a grocery store. The inside is nice, nothing super special, but it doesnt need to be with sushi like that! I will be visiting again, soon!

We did some basic sushi rolls, a cocktail each, and the hibachi experience! She got salmon and shrimp and i got steak and chicken. The only real issue was the peanut avocado roll. The avocado was completely unripe and rock hard. We actually dropped a piece on the table and it made a loud "rock" sound. I honestly don't know how the roll was made without someone noticing how hard the avocado was. Unfortunately, they were not edible. The sushi itself was good, but some of the rolls were a little mushy, so if you're someone who is sensitive to texture, the Dynamite Roll and Triple Double Roll might not be your favorite. The spring rolls also lacked a little flavor. Overall, a decent experience, but the avocado issue was a big miss.

While I was waiting, he gave the other person waiting and me a special hamachi nigiri with hot sauce, on the house. It is just the owner so I bet the wait can be long at busy times, but I will certainly go back. This is among the best sushi I've had in the Wakefield/Narragansett area - competitive with Matunuck Atelier and Tsunama, though not a restaurant. Bravo to the owner.
