Walked in today for lunch and was seated immediately. We were a little confused on how the menu worked but once the server explained it to us we we're good to go. We ordered the spicy chicken, spicy pork bulgogi, the beef bulgogi and the pork belly. We also had the spicy rice cake and bean paste stew.The meat was seasoned well but the pork belly as a bit too fatty for me. Got up and left due to Poor customer satisfaction experience. Loved coming here since it is near my house, but most likely won't come back again. Came here Wednesday at 5pm with my 5years old and wanted to sit in a booth, (because it is much easier for kid of his age and height). But the server refused to give us one and would only allow us to sit in table/chair. The restaurant was empty, there were no customer except us...I mean literally empty with no customer. I had no idea why he would do that to his customer. The table is for 4 seating, and the booth is also for 4 seatings. It was not like we tried to sit in a bigger table or in a different area (the booth was right next to the table). His attitude was just ridiculous... He doesn't care what the customer want, how they feel, and the fact that he offended his customer. The restaurant is set in a friendly neighborhood, not city like, so a little more welcoming services will be much appreciated. read more

I made a reservation for a group of 12 on a Sunday at 6pm and the process was fairly smooth. The staff are all very nice and we were hopeful that it would be a great experience. One thing that is confusing is the parking - we all looked for street parking but apparently (not sure if it is only Sundays) they validate parking at the garage, which was a plus! The menu was pretty straightforward. The selection was mostly beef, pork and chicken AYCE for 2 hours. There's also side dishes like gyoza and ddukbokki, soup that you can get that is included in the price. However as a large group of 12, they only staffed 1 person for our table. We had guys pop in and out to help out, but the majority was one guy. And we were not his only table. Therefore, it led to quite some difficulties getting everyone fed. One side of the table was completely ignored (not on purpose, but he just couldn't handle it). In the end, we kept asking for more food but most of it didn't come out and we ended up cooking most of our food. The beef was good (not amazing like some other kbbq places I've been to). We requested side dishes at the beginning of the meal and had to kept requesting follow up on it. Honestly the staff was super nice but service was slow because they don't have enough staff. I feel badly for the guy assigned to our table because he could not handle the capacity. Food (side dishes) took forever to come. Some meats that were ordered never arrived. Half of the table well fed, the other half starving. Honestly, for the price I would much rather go to Lets Meat in NYC ktown for $40, which is only $12 more - which includes seafood and a whole lot of extra side dishes, and a much more structured service (your personal server). Perhaps it was our experience with a large group that made it less than ideal. I would probably come back because this is the closest Korean BBQ in the area, but definitely not with a large group. read more

We are delighted and very satisfied with the opportunity to dine at O2 KOREAN BBQ at the Galaxy Towers Kennedy Blvd Guttenberg, NJ We give this restaurant Five Stars The atmosphere is very clean, warm and inviting. Our receptionist was polite, genuine and greeted us with fine professionalism. We did not have one waiter; on rotation, three gentlemen severed us with measured and practical timing and always answered all our questions. The menu is full with an incredible amount of food that is prepared (smoke free)at our table. We had a delicious Asian style lite dressing toss salad. We ordered the: Spicy Pork Belly. Pork Belly, Beef Bulgogi, Beef Thin Brisket. Assorted dips and Banchan. The meat was fresh, cooked to perfection and succulent. To say anymore will take away from what your palate may experience! We asked one of our waiters to suggest a good place for Korean BINGSU and he was right on...perfect suggestion located nearby in Korean Town Palisades. Honestly came here with low expectations, only seeking to satisfy my carnivorous cravings. I haven't had a great KBBQ experience on the east coast, especially since I've had a few years of kbbq in LA. However, I was really impressed with this place. The meat was of great quality, and the taste was comparable to some of the better kbbq joints I've been to. In particular, the beef brisket was amazing (must have ordered 5 plates of this). The kalbi (usually everyone's favorite) was also really good, and you can also order as much of this as you want as well (some AYCE places actually put a cap on the kalbi). Service was also great on a busy friday night - had all of our sauce/water/grill changing needs satisfied. The price point is $27 per person for dinner, and I felt like I got my money's worth. read more

This place has to be my favorite kbbq ayce restaurant. The interior design of the restaurant is amazing and the food is high quality and really good at an amazing price! The thing that really puts it over the top of all the other kbbq places for me though is that the service is friendly and it has a great overall vibe. It's a great place to hangout with friends and family, and the servers make sure you are taken care of. They also set up a nice bar area where you can either wait until you're seated or just chill out and have a drink. Will definitely be back! read more

This is part of a strip "mall" which looks small on the outside but once you enter the doors, it's bigger than expected. Place was pretty empty with a few groups scattered around one area of the restaurant. Was immediately seated and the wait staff was pretty attentive throughout my dining experience. I mean it was pretty empty and I had full view of the staff having their own meal, so I'd hope that the staff were attentive as they were, but they were friendly and I'll give them that. I've been to O2 BBQ a few months ago and I had a wonderful experience! However, I recently had a terrible experience which will refrain from myself and others to come back again. I went to eat for dinner with my sister, and at first, we had an attentive waiter but we were soon ignored as our waiter walked past our table multiple times ignoring our presence. This lasted for at least 30 minutes until we had to order with someone else and only then did our waiter come to speak to us only to ask if we were done. To make it worse as we were eating another employee came up to us and 1) said "oh you're not getting dessert right" 2) and proceeded to leave a check on the table and then proceeded to walk away. We have never felt so unwanted at a restaurant and we were made to feel as though we did something wrong and that was why we were treated so horribly. I spoke to the waiter as I was paying and asked if I overstayed my welcome when he replied "yes kind of" I would have felt much better if this was communicated to me instead of paying for service where we had to be treated as if we didn't exist. I wish that the employees here were able to communicate better to their guests instead of ignoring them and being passive-aggressive. I truly hate to write a review like this during trying times but this was one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. I'm a huge KBBQ fan. And after trying probably most of the North Jersey places that do AYCE KBBQ, I'll have to pick O2 as my #1. Everyone there is friendly, fast and they run a tight ship. I'm surprised they don't get the long waits like Cast Iron. Huge Perk: it's part of a mall so instead of having to find street parking, you can park in the garage and they validate it for you! Wohoo FREE parking! Only thing is that I do enjoy when AYCE places are BYOB, But they have their own bar and the drinks are pretty standard. So Far, O2 is hard to beat!! read more

First time trying this place out, but familiar with kbbq. The atmosphere and quality are very similar to cast iron in fort lee, but at a but higher price point for the location. There wasn't kalibi at the dinner price which made it not worth it. But it's the only kbbq around here without the drive to fort lee. Service was nice, place was big and clean. read more

I have been to this restaurant 5 times now and it is absolutely AMAZING! The food is always good. I love the fact that you can cook your meat choices exactly how you like them. The service is always fantastic and friendly. I do recommend making a reservation online if you plan on visiting during the weekend. I do recommend, if possible, to try a double date situation or a larger group of people. The reason for this is you will get to try a larger variety of what their menu has to offer. They can easily accommodate larger parties of people as well.....I would say they could take a group of 20 pretty easily. Make sure to make a reservation online if you do though. They are able to easily accommodate a wheelchair, which I was pleased to see. I have family that lives about 2 miles from this place. Great addition to the neighborhood and I dont have to go all the way to Fort Lee for great AYCE Korean bbq. Located in the Galaxy Mall on the top floor, O2 was great, I got sat quickly and enjoyed the feast. The price of $26 for dinner was great and includes a variety of items from brisket, pork belly, steamed egg, gyoza and more. They also have a lunch option as well, which is cheaper and limited. Service was great, attentive and not over bearing. Definitely will be coming back and eating there more! read more

Visited on a Saturday night with 2 people and really enjoyed the experience. The tables are nice and large with as cool looking BBQ in the middle. The walls have TVs playing K-POP which is cool even when you don't know or understand the words. As we were seated the table was set with some tasty side dishes, a number of sauces, and spices to dip the food in after being cooked. Our server/chef provided a number of popular suggestions and went so far as to recommend which of the different sauces went well with our cooked food. Our server/chef cooked and portioned our food and kept us entertained with conversation. At the end of the night including meals and 2 bottles of Soju for 3 people we spent $100 before tip. They let us wait while my friend who was stuck in traffic came up to a half hour late. They were patients for respectful. My drawback is there are TV's EVERYWHERE. Like there is no way you can't see a TV. And they all would play the same K-POP music videos at a louder volume than normal. I am not a fan of K-pop myself, I don't think I would have minded if it was quieter, or if there were less TV's so it wasn't in my face... but it was. If you're into to that, then this is for you. If not, the food is still a good reason to come( especially with the great prices) but I'll be looking elsewhere next time read more

The front part of the restaurant was empty but when we entered the dining area we saw a lot more patrons...good thing we got seated right away. 3.5*** We checked this place out because we wanted to eat all you can eat Korean bbq. The place was a bit hard to find though as it was on the top floor of this big building complex. Overall it was a good experience. There were a lot of choices of meat to choose from as well as sides like rice or soup. We like the plain meat the best, meaning the ones without marinate sauce. The portion sizes were small in terms of the vegetables to grille, literally one broccoli floret each time. The meats were also small except for the spicy pork bulgogi which was huge portion. It was a drastic difference in portion compared to the other cuts of meat. Unfortunately the sauce was a bit too much and we could hardly taste the meat. But the plain meats were fine, no complaints. It was great with rice. The only thing that I wasn't comfortable with was that they were definitely not operating at 25% capacity during covid. It was more like 80% by the time we left. While we were not near too many people, the table they had first designated for us was right next to a big group, to which we had asked to be moved since there were tables available with more distance in between. Best Korean bbq place I've been to so far. Definitely was great service and selection was tremendous. Beef soup is really good and all of the meats were fantastic. Staff was very on point, continually checking to make sure everything was at our satisfaction. Condiments were great also. Especially loved the sesame oil for dipping a lot of the meats. We did all of the different steak types, pork belly was incredible, small intestine was also good. Only wish they hadn't run out of the mochi but we went super late and they are always packed so running out of it is always a great sign. Will def be back as already plan to meet some more friends this coming weekend there for another round! read more

We stopped by on a holiday weekday for lunch and thankfully there was no wait for a table. there was just one large party of rowdy teens and for whatever reason they decided to seat us (party of 4) directly next to them which I found irritating because the entire restaurant was empty. I sat my child down intentionally away from the other party but was soon advised that is the server's station where they need to come and cut/flip/cook for the table because all the smoke etc was going to be in that direction. it was just an awkward situation the entire time, but I enjoyed the food overall. we paced ourselves but was still stuffed. what I didn't enjoy as much was that most, if not all of their meats were not marinated. it was reliant on us dipping it in various housemade sauces, and I only enjoyed 1 of the 3 provided. I also don't think their menu is child friendly at all .. given my child literally ate close to nothing, pretty much nothing. but the good news is they didn't charge my child. read more

Visited while I was traveling for work. I found this place on Yelp and noticed it had recently opened. One thing I love is the late hours. I believe my boyfriend and I arrived around 8:00 pm. There were others in the restaurant but the ambience was nice. They have music videos playing in the background on tv screens. Our waiter had no problem recommending meats and drinks based off what we said we were in the mood for. Because the kalbi & steak here looks so different compare to the regular korean bbq place in the city or even fort lee. I normally like to have non marinated meat at korean bbq because that is the way you can tell if the meat is fresh or not. But there is things i like about this place. The gyoza, lovely even though it's fried. We ended up ordering twice. :) The bean paste soup, pretty decent for a AYCE. Rice is not those thai rice, very soft & chewy Japanese Rice. :) Drinks very reasonably priced. :) Overall, i will come back again when I don't want to eat home or go too far. Went to this Korean BBQ place with one of my friends who had never been there before. Banchan plates were already set up, which was a nice touch. Had to ask for lettuce wraps with our bulgogi, but it took a while to get All you can eat, which is good for your first time with friends if they've never had and you can try a variety of stuff. Personally did not have my favorite (beef tongue) but food was well prepared even though the staff was quite busy. Overall pretty dang good Beer selection was also great! read more

The overall meats were good, however we ordered the grilled veggies for our vegetarian guest and they literally brought us one little broccoli, 2 small mushrooms, and like a quarter of a bellpepper. Also, the water they had sitting in the water container for the table bad mold all over the top of it. When I told the waiter, he didn't care and didn't even offer to change it.
