We totally stumbled onto this establishment by fate! We were searching for a lunch special and it led us here. After living in the area for 10 years, I'm am ecstatic to finally have more asian food options within the vicinity! We ordered a bunch of meats and they were all very juicy and tender! Our favorite was the pork belly! The servers cooked it right in front of us into a nice golden crisp! Best part is that you have some control of how long to cook your own food when they walk away! The price is hard to beat for a all you can eat place! Fresh ingredients, tentative staff and a very nice ambiance! The only thing I noticed as being a mom (even though we didn't bring the kids this time) that while the food is cooking right at the table, the oil from the meat may pop and splatter. This was my first time coming to this place and let me say, everything was so good. I am beyond amazed on how the servers cook the meat to perfection. My all time favorite meat is the brisket, pork belly, kalbi and hanging tender steak. Also, I love how they already have banchan (kimchi, bean sprout, radish, sweet potato and more). P.S. Came for dinner with some friends and left with mixed feelings about O2.. The pros: it's a huge place! Definitely set up and decorated in a trendier way. I liked the mix of music playing in the background. They have a wide selection of meat options and the price is pretty standard (it was about $28 or $29 per person). I do think that value would be better though if they were BYOB. Some of the meats really stood out to us, we loved the soy pork rib, pork belly and marinated chicken! They also have a good amount of dipping sauces at the table already when you sit down. The cons: the service is what's really making this review take a hit for me. When we sat down, servers were immediately at our table turning the grill on. While they seemed really attentive at first, it almost felt rushed to me. The real issue to me though was that after we ordered a second round of meat (which was maybe an hour into being there) it was like the servers totally stopped coming to our table. My fiancé tried to order another beer which never came and then we sat there for a little while needing refills on water and our other drInks until someone (seemed like a manager?) came by and we asked for refills. A server came by and turned the grill off at our table without asking if we wanted anymore food, when the table next to us who got there at the same time seemed to still be getting more food brought out. The margarita that one of us ordered was also not great, honestly it kind of tasted like a Smirnoff ice. While the food itself was good for an AYCE Korean bbq, I'd probably stick to other places because of the service. read more

Went there twice now and probably wont be going again... 1st time i went there was a small fly in the lettuce they provide to eat with the meat. The meat was good since it was grand opening we didnt mind it much and chose not to eat the lettuce after.. 2nd time my girlfriend found a rubber band in the salad after biting into it... Salad also had a rough texture where it feels like its been out for a while.. Don't be fooled by the AYCE name. Although an 'all you can eat', the quality of the meats were unreal. It had me saying 'all you can eat!!?!?'. Parking was a breeze as you just park in a structure that is attached to the restaurant. The interior was really nice. I was surprised at how many tables there were and how many TVs there were. The vibe of the restaurant is great for a small party or a big party. I've been to multiple KBBQ's, AYCE and non-AYCE. A lot of AYCE KBBQ places skimp on the quality of the meats (for obvious reasons). It's always about quantity over quality. I came in with skeptical expectations and was ready to just fill my stomach. But, I was blown away by the quality of the meats. We had the beef brisket, pork belly, marinated short ribs, and the spicy pork belly, and the quality was on par, or if not better than the best KBBQs that I've been to. The spicy pork belly was a thorough surprise as the marinade was really really tasty. Another interesting aspect of O2 is that you cook your meats on a huge cast iron lid, which made for a unique experience. Along with the quality of the meat, I judge a Korean BBQ by its ban-chan (side dishes), and it was A+. They provide 5 sauces for your meats and every single one of the side dishes were awesome. Our server was telling us how they were homemade, and I could tell by the taste that he wasn't lying. The bean paste soup was A1, and our table really really enjoyed the steam egg. Getting a bang for your buck is an understatement for this place. To top it all off, I was extremely impressed by the service of this place. AYCE places are known to have 'slow' and frustrating customer services. Either they don't really tend to you or slack on the delivery of your food. But, our waiter, Danny, absolutely made our night. As soon as we ran out of beverages or side dishes, we didn't even have to call him over as he was already replacing the side dishes and drinks. Not only that, but he helped cook our meats and you could tell he knew what he was doing. Shoutout to Danny for a great experience!! Whether you're a KBBQ expert or it's your first experience, this place fulfills all expectations. The cherry on top for this place is the location and views. As soon as you step outside, you get an amazing view of the skyline. As a sucker for the city, nothing beat the views of the skyline at night after a great meal of KBBQ. Whether you're Korean or not, KBBQ noobie or not, party of 2 or 10, O2 BBQ is a place I would highly recommend. It hits all the check marks of a great KBBQ restaurant. The price ($27) is extremely fair, especially for the quality of food and service you'll be getting. Given this location opened in my sisters building I was so excited to try it. We walked in and there's literally 50 televisions set up about five inches apart from one another and had on the same channel, very loud. The only option you can order after 3pm during the week, is the "all you can eat". The waiter took a long time cooking the meat he cooked one kind at a time which took forever, we had to ask for napkins and I had to take over trying to prevent the meat from burning. The steak came out at the end (very small piece when it was two orders) and the waiter scrubbed it across the burned grill. We couldn't eat it. The staff wasn't helpful at all. AYCE for $27? What a deal! They have a large selection of pork, chicken and beef in different cuts and marinades. The kalbi, hanging tender steak, pork belly and pork ribs are my favorites. But it the sauces that make everything sooo good. There's also side dishes like rice, stews, steamed egg, rice cake and gyozas - THE GYOZAS ARE AMAZING! I had friends visiting from Boston during New Year. They were craving for Korean BBQ so we decided to give this place a try. The store is located in a high rise building's shopping level, maybe it was during the holiday, the shopping level was empty and felt crappy. Parking garage was a bit tricky. Make sure you remember the level you parked and the color of the elevator entrance. The food was standard AYCE Korean BBQ with a lot of selections. Even though we went during lunch time but we chose dinner menu for more options. The meats were all tasty and fresh. Service was fair but sometimes you need to wait 10-15 minutes to get your waitress. The only thing I want to complain about is the price on kids. They used to charge children by age but recently they charged by their heights. My friend's kids have above average height and my daughter with shoes just barely pass the free line level. At the end, we were paying two extra adult and one child fees for the meal. My friends two children are 7 and 8 years old and my daughter is 5. If you are bringing kids to this restaurant, think twice first! read more

Great all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant! I came here Thursday night with a group of 5 and they were able to seat us right away. The wait staff was very friendly and made recommendations on what we would probably like to start off with. Portion sizes for each meat are very generous but if you only want to try something, they'll give you a smaller portion so there's no waste. They play K-POP music videos on the screen which is a little loud but it's fun and sets the mood well. Also, they validate parking in the garage if you don't want to pay for metered parking on the street. Instructions for parking is on their website. Best kbbq spot I've been to in North Jersey. Be prepared to smell after you leave! Anyways, parking is in a deck where tickets can be validated. It's in a tiny mall above ground located on the second floor. We came on a weekday for dinner. It was not crowded. They offer half portions of the meats so it's quite conscious if you do not want to waste anything. We tried the pork belly, top blade steak, hanger steak, and kalbi. The steaks are AMAZING. It's a big restaurant. The meat selection is good. I ordered a miso soup and found it a bit cold. The salad available at the table looked ok. I wished it didn't include dressing already. I like to add my own amount of dressing to my salad. I ordered a desert to clean my palate from the bbq and picked: ice cream. They literally brought the häagen-Dazs cup box. I asked for a spoon and they told me that box comes with a spoon. I wished they would take care more of these details. This is probably the only all you can eat meat place I would ever go to. Not only is the quality of the meat amazing but the service is phenomenal. My friend and I came here and had so many questions but the waiter was so friendly in answering every single question. The waiters came by frequently so the none of the meat was over cooked and they also made sure to ask how would like our steak cooked. I also didn't even have to ask for a sticker to validate my parking but when the waiter saw my parking pass he took it upon himself to put the sticker on it.
