However, the prices listed on the menu are for one serving. When i tried to order, the lady at the counter explained I had to order two order minimum. So the real price for one order of cheese dakgalbi is $51.90, not $25.95. This was annoying because I was the only person who wanted dakgalbi, which mean i ended up not getting it. I did get my dry pot though. They make it spicy just like everyone else. At about $16 per pound with separate charges for noodles, it's slightly more expensive than other dry pot restaurants in the area. I eventually wanna come back for the dakgalbi, but I'm gonna need to make sure i have a partner beforehand.

The heat was there but the sauce was not as thick as I'm accustomed to nor was it as rich. The stir-fried pork was abundant but the sauce was definitely on the sweeter side. Felt a bit too thin on the sauce and not quite the addictive flavor that you'll find yourself shoveling in mouthfuls of noodles non-sotp. Jjampong. I opted for the one with the brisket. A decent amount of seafood but the brisket tasted just kind of boiled. Not really charred on the edges like a proper chadolbaegi would be. My family decided to try it out after seeing an advertisement in one of the Korean newspapers, and we're definitely glad we did. We picked up an order for seafood chadol (brisket) jjamppong, the signature Mugeog (meaning "unbeatable" or "invincible" in Korean) Jjamppong, and jjajangmyung. It's difficult to find chadol jjamppong in the States, even in the Palisades Park/Fort Lee area, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the menu and have it be as tasty as it was -- there was a nice balance of seafood and chadol, and there were more than just a few sad slices of brisket, which is what I have normally found on the rare occasion that chadol jjamppong was on the menu. Jjajangmyun was tasty, albeit a bit salty, but the restaurant gets a slight pass because the noodles for all three of the dishes that we had were excellent and it markets itself as a jjamppong place, not a jjajangmyun place. And believe me when I say the signature dish deserves its "unbeatable/invincible" title as the soup contained SO MUCH seafood, including pieces of crab and a huge shrimp. There was so much seafood in the soup that the amount was enough for two people. (See the photo of the jjamppong take out containers for comparison.) In addition to the taste, the prices were also excellent -- we paid a total of $37 ($8 + $14 + $15). The restaurant recently opened in March so it's just approaching the six-month mark. I have seen many restaurants that do well in the beginning but fail after a year or so because they become too lax with taste and greedy with prices. Hopefully, this restaurant will stay true to its roots and remain consistent. My family is looking forward to trying more dishes, such as the sweet and sour pork, so we will be returning soon -- and at which time I hope to not write an updated review reneging on my 5 stars.
