Been to this restaurant few times. Their food is great, but THE SERVERS ARE HORRIBLE. They let our food be burnt, so I had to cook my own. I've been here so many times I can't even count. I started coming here a little after they opened. First time I had it was just okay, but the second time, I was hooked. Their meats are all good, and I like that they include soups, steamed egg, and rice cakes in their AYCE menu. My favorite things to get are pork belly, brisket, and steak. Just a warning, they don't have Kalbi or the option to add it for extra. I don't really mind that, but I know a few people who do. It's a nice meal when you want decent unlimited kbbq. It's definitely not the best quality in comparison to non-AYCE kbbq, but for the price, I think it's super worth it. The staff is always accommodating and nice. My group always asks for a lot of extra banchan, sauce (which is crack), salad, and of course meat and they are always nice about it. I always leave satisfied, and really full!! read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. This is my squads GO TO kbbq spot. They have it all here even lettuce wraps. Cast Iron Pot has nothing on this place. The only reason Cast Iron is more popular is because O2 opened Cast. Comparing it to Cast Iron: O2 has better quality AND quantity than Cast Iron. They also have a better selection of side dishes and extras. They even give lettuce wraps (which if used right will give you more of an appetite to EAT MORE !!) The service is definitely better here and the sauces are a bit better here too. The location is definitely better as well because it is so much harder to get parking at Cast Iron (I don't want to waste money on valet that is going to park on the street anyway) while O2 HAS A PARKING LOT that is part of the mall. After your meal, you can also go to the top floor and have a nice view of the city, stars and town. IF YOU ARE A BIG FAN OF CAST IRON POT, YOU WILL BE AN EVEN BIGGER FAN OF O2 BBQ!!!!!! read more

A new favorite!! Mask required, temp check & hand sanitizer upon walking in. Ordering is easy and waiters are always nearby incase you have questions or would like to order more! Due to covid, all customers cook for themselves, but the waiters give you a rundown of how it works if you're unsure! One person in our group has a peanut, tree nut, & sesame allergy, and the staff was super helpful in separating & clarifying what was safe to eat. In my opinion this is the best korean bbq spot in all of north jersey! Staff is friendly and conversational, meats are high quality, and there is a big variety for the dinner menu. It is also super affordable- and they have a liquor license so you can have cocktails made or just drink their variety of soju. They also have rice and soups/ steamed egg available so it's not just all about eating meat. My boyfriend and I have gone at least 5-8 times since it's opening and it definitely beats out the cast iron pot and gorilla grill which are their nearby competition. Overall I love this place! My boyfriend and I have grown extremely fond of their bulgogi and top blade steak but their beef thin brisket and pork jowl are great too. read more

Recently visited this weekend, been to other Korean bbq places and this one definitely is different from others. For starters they serve gyoza which i haven't seen at other places. Meat is pretty much the same from most places excluding one. Meat was very good, service was nice and attentive. Came here Sunday noon, food was good but service was kinda frustrating, first of all we've never been there and server didn't sound very welcoming, she just asked what would u like to order. Meat came out and we weren't sure if we can cook ourselves or they do it? So our meat was sitting on the table for 10-15 mins so we just cooked It ourselves. He came after said oh yeah we can cook It for you since it's covid.. he only did It once and the rest of the time we did everything ourselves. asked 3 different people for my order and non of It came till 30 mins later or was just ignored... Just had lunch at 02 Korean BBQ. I was very impressed. The food was yummy. They started you off with a big salad, radishes, kimchi, bean sprouts and a few other condiments. Very good quality tasty meats and they included nice veggies and rice as well. Will definitely be back. read more

The management has gone down the toilet. What's the point of having you make a reservation if they're not going to save a table or respect "the first come first serve". These people will have you waiting at least an hour of your reservation time to put you on a dirty table just to be looked over and get ignored by the servers when you try to order... like seriously?. This used to be a great place and I'm really disappointed,I will not be coming back to eat there. I would say if they have you waiting more than 30 minutes just leave because they will put in any other person that just walked in, besides that once you are able to order the servers won't bring your food after a long time, every single time. I understand they're busy with different tables but multiple occasions I would see them next to the aisle they have in the front part chatting. The table that I had was not even properly set, after waiting that long. Honestly, is not worth it for the price the make you pay. The service was so bad that we didn't leave a tip, the only helpful people were the guys who picked up the table and serving the food is not even their job. My girlfriend and I were here last Tuesday for dinner. We literally waited by the entrance for 10 minutes before anyone came around and asked how many were in the party. This was the absolute worst restaurant experience either of us have ever had. The food is good but the service here is TERRIBLE. You could easily tell they are short staffed and super busy but the server (young, tall, skinny, asian looking lady) was beyond rude and condescending; she was angry and would literally throw plates on our table and just leave. Also, as soon as we told the server we wouldn't be ordering any more foods, she glared at us as she paced back and forth and proceeded to ignore us the rest of the time we were there. UNBELIEVABLE. Someone needs to teach the servers that they need to treat everyone with respect. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Shame on you O2 BBQ. read more

Honestly there's been many all you can eat Korean bbq restaurants that opened in the area, but this one is by far the most authentic and high quality. I was hesitant to drive this far when there are so many around, but I was completely blown away. Their pork belly and beef is different quality than cast iron or meat bros, and they have both makchang and gopchang. No other AYCE restaurant has this service and this deal. Trust me and come here. Honestly, this is one of the best Kbbq places I have ever ate at. The quality of this meat is out of this world. The have many side dishes that other kbbq places don't have. We were excited to try this newly opened Korean BBQ restaurant last night. We came with a large group of four adults and six kids. This place is huge. They sat us right away. Everyone loved the food! Highlights were the marinated beef bulgogi and thin-sliced brisket. The salad was super fresh and has a tasty but light dressing. Gyoza dumplings were another standout. Our waiter, Daniel, gave us excellent service. While you cook the meats at your table, the staff does the work of turning the meats at the right time. The hoods above each table work great for removing the smoke. This place gets 5 stars for food quality, service, and decor. I'm deducting 1 star for pricing. The $26.95 price for an adult all you can eat dinner is very fair. Kids 4-7 are half price. 5 of the 6 kids in our group were 9 or 10 years old. They eat about half what an adult eats. Management needs to extend the Kids pricing to 12 years old if they want to keep families coming. read more

O2 opened this week in NJ and it did not disappoint. The meat quality was exceptional and they gave a lot of side dishes. Not a lot of other AYCE BBQ gives enough side dishes. You can tell it's newly renovated and the restaurant looks clean. Definitely order the briskets and the steaks. So yummy. I'll definitely be returning with more friends. It also has a beautiful view where people can wait. Parking is free as well! You can park in the Galaxy Tower's parking garage while letting them know you're going to eat at O2. read more

By far my favorite all you can eat Korean bbq place in nyc. It is a little far and hard to get to but if you have a car I really recommend this place. The wait time can get a little long sometimes so make sure you try to call ahead. The meats were all very good but I'd recommend the marinated meats more. I really liked the spicy pork belly. I also really liked the steamed egg. And the food comes with banchan which they refill pretty frequently. The meat is cooked for you. Overall I'd say it's worth the travel. read more

This was my 3rd time eating here at O2 and and it was great everytime. The meat's quality is awesome for ayce! We ordered beef brisket, hanging tender steak, top blade, marinated galbi, pork belly, abomasum and the intestine. The steaks are marbled and juicy. Wanted to try this new ayce korean bbq for my birthday dinner with my girls... WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I usually don't leave reviews, better yet negative reviews but I had to for this place so that you will be aware... the service was TERRIBLE, the food was very mediocre with barely any sides, the best thing here was the steamed eggs smh. To make everything worse they wouldn't serve us more drinks after our 2hour limit was up. We stopped eating BBQ after an hour of eating but we wanted to sit at our table to enjoy more drinks and chat since it was my birthday and all. But nope, the rude manager AND owner made us leave and wouldn't allow for us to stay. I mean as a paying customer don't we have the right to stay and finish our drinks? How is that doing good business? Especially for a place that JUST opened, talk about horrible customer service. I hope they hire better staff, a more personable experienced manager and add more sides with fresh meat... otherwise good luck. I don't see this place lasting very long. I've been to Cast Iron Pot a lot of times and would prefer O2 BBQ over it any day. Even though the meats at both places are very similar, quality wise O2 definitely takes it for me. Parking was a bit confusing at first but coming here more than twice you kinda get used to it lol. They do take reservations but all party members must be present before being seated, so that makes sense. All the employees are all very helpful and friendly and you cant really beat that. read more
