To be honest, this place wasn't my favorite. The service was very kind and patient, but the overall I don't think i'd come back. My partner ordered the matcha latte, which had a lot of cream? More milk & cream than matcha, and I didn't really get a definitive matcha flavor. The strawberry latte was fine, except I don't think there was any coffee in it, which is fine. I think lattes just means milk, but when I think latte, I do think coffee too. Overall the strawberry milk/latte was fine and it tasted good, but I think I've had better at other cafes/would just make my own. The seats were comfortable though. read more

Came here after dining at the Crab House. Parking can be very limited during the dinner rush because it's in a medium sized plaza with 2 restaurants that also share this parking lot. This is not your typical coffee type cafe. They have desserts and boba type drinks. I think the drinks a bit expensive for what it was. Normal pricing would be around $7-$8, but I paid about $10.50 for the mango/peach drink with a non dairy substitute. They use a peach syrup that has a slight medicinal taste to it. Not overly offensive, but you can definitely taste it. If you are in the area, I guess this will do, but I will not go out of my way to come here. read more

What I really loved was that it wasn't overly sweet. The strawberry-flavored cream had a gentle, milky taste that reminded me of strawberry milk. I decided to try the cream on its own first, which was light and flavorful. Then I gave the drink a gentle stir so the cream could blend with the matcha underneath.The bitterness of the matcha paired beautifully with the sweet, creamy strawberry, creating a layered and balanced taste in every sip. It wasn't heavy at all -- just refreshing and satisfying. Aside from the drink itself, the overall cafe experience was just as enjoyable. Soooooooooo expensive. Baseline prices are around $7 apiece. I did get the Dalgona coffee latte which I've tried before but it's $8.50 plus I substituted oat milk so as not to irritate my stomach. Jury is out on whether it actually contained any coffee though. But the dalgona candy was . I mean, you can't go wrong with solid blocks of burnt granulated sugar. But they were so fluffy and not too burnt tasting. I really was craving it. Service is super nice and I think it's a mom and daughter working here. They also do cash back if you need change for the $4 valet in the lot (but they charge $1 for the exchange). Would recommend their dalgona latte or you can just buy their dalgona candy if you saw it on Squid Game and have been curious ever since. read more

Wanted something sweet and cooling after eating at the crab house in the same plaza. This is a small cafe with limited seating inside and outside! Mango slush: it was really sweet and tasted too artificial. I think it was either a syrup? I wish they used fresh fruits or something. Felt like they used too much syrup. Strawberry ade: usually with ade, sprite or chilsung is used. That's what I thought this place would do. They used a dliuted sparkling water and scooped a lot of the strawberry drenched in the syrup in it. I wouldn't recommend at all. This rating is purely for the drinks. I had the honeycomb cookie coffee and it was delicious. I also bought the Squid Games honeycomb cookie set to play at home for a small get together game night. It comes with 4 tins con5aining a circle, triangle, star and umbrella just like they had on the Netflx show. It was fun trying to beat the cookies without cracking them. Definitely will return to try their other coffee flavors when I'm in the area. read more

Please please go to this cafe!! This place makes the best dalgona latte and I have gone back to them like 20 times in the last 2 months. They pack the latte with dalgona candy on top, and you let it melt in your latte for more flavor. Because it's a lot of sugar, the latte can be really sweet but as the ice melts, it equals it out! I like that a lot because I usually HATE watered down drinks. I always see the same two workers there and they are honestly so so sweet. They just have the most genuine smiles and I think it's so cute they always include a small heart shaped candy in the latte. Please give this place a try! read more

After having dinner at A-Won next door, we stopped by O2 for some coffee. We both decided to try the dalgona coffee and asked to make it a bit less sweet knowing how sweet dalgona is. The drink was topped with little pieces of dalgona sugar candy that added a nice treat to enjoy while drinking your coffee. While the coffee was a little bit too sweet for my liking, the flavor was really good and I'm sure the sweeter coffee drinkers will really enjoy it. They do have a small parking lot in front of the store and a few outdoor seats to enjoy your drink. read more

Very cute coffee shop! We came in for Crab House but once we pulled up to the restaurant we saw they had a cute fun candy challenge like the one in squid game so we had to leave room to make sure we had enough space to do this and we do not regret it! It is like a cute couple family thing that you can do between people and it comes with a free drink so that's a plus! Just found this place today after a friend suggest it! Their standard drip coffee is amazing and the java chip frappe hits the spot for super warm LA afternoons like today! Not baaaaaaad. Seems like a new joint in town, but a very typical Koreatown cafe at that. They obviously love Audrey Hepburn, they've got about two dozen or so little portraits of her on the wall and even their menu is bedecked with the iconic starlet. There's an outside seating area with heaters for the smokers and an inside area with a display of average bottled drinks. Food-wise, they've got lattes, coffee, shaved ice with fruit, ice cream, boba slushies and smoothies, and the other typical fare. Their iced green tea tastes more like the Korean dandelion tea, or maybe even barley water, and not so much like green tea. Surprisingly I enjoyed my peach mango slushy, it had little chunks of fruit in it and was nice and thick. Usually places grind up ice and very obviously put in syrup flavorings which make it taste fake and nasty... but here their drinks seem to use some part fruit! Not too shabby, will have to come here and try some more stuff to up my rating. Prices aren't for the drinks, it's for space and ambiance. The two drinks above cost about $13. Wifi available, cash only. read more

Location: close to 901 S Vermont We found this place after having KBBQ up the street, so we decided to pop in for something sweet. My BF and I had to be somewhere, so we ordered ours to go and it felt as if it took hours! 1 Thai boba tea and 1 Vanilla frappe to go took at least 15 minutes! Granted, the guy was working by himself, and I felt sad for our friends that decided to sit to order. We didn't hang around to find out how long it took them to get their order, but I'm sure it wasn't fast... I'm used to a smooth, soft boba, but this place had boba that was firm and almost dry - like it was old. The taste was good, but I would rather go out of my way to a Lollicup or more popular boba or teahouse for better quality boba. read more

Review for the coffee only. Overall (1 star): I needed some coffee and decided to just walk in the first shop I came across in the morning. This was the first time I couldn't even finish the cup... I almost feel bad saying this but it might've been the worst cup of iced coffee I've ever bought. It was watered down and tasted more like coffee flavored barley water. Also coffee mate creamer as the only dairy option? Nothing wrong with coffee mate... just feels cheap at a sit-down cafe where you pay $5 for a cup of coffee. Didn't try any other items, perhaps those would've been better! read more

Something different from the usual and a flavor we have never seen anywhere else.Kind of difficult to describe the flavoring,but very much a nutty flavor. The Boba is so yummy at O2 , I ordered another one.( I can live on Gamja Tang and Boba all day ) I ordered the Taro flavor.It hard to believe Taro taste so delicious in a Boba and I dont even like Taro. Two stars because the staff was actually kinda nice, but the drinks and desserts were just eh. I had tiramisu and um, well, they probably should go try it somewhere to see what it should taste like. It looked good but no, wasn't up to par. Dry, flavorless. I kept eating it to try and get a taste of what it was they were trying to accomplish, but it didn't happen. Espresso was bitter, another drink tasted like coffee with boba and the last drink he said, "it tastes like ice with food coloring", lol. Oh well, onward! read more

I don't know what kind of crowd they are aiming for, it's for really old people that come and have a coffee or really young people that just smoke around the front. When I went in for a meeting, there was another group seated inside and they were praying and crying and chanting Jesus. Their drinks are overpriced and the location itself is so tight and the parking is terrible. read more

My brother got a 3 scoop sundae, I got a thai tea slush. 1. Whipped cream on the sundae DID NOT taste like whip cream, in fact the end flavor was that there was residue and just not good. OBVIOUSLY extremely expired and outdated. 2. Scoops of ice cream were so dinky and the total for the sundae came out to be $6.00 3. Thai tea slush.......wthell is this flavor? The WORST thai tea slush ever made in this lifetime, in this world. WHAT THE HECK IS THAT FLAVOR? I couldn't figure it out and I regretted I even got a large. I just thought who could screw up a thai tea slush? Apparently this place can. Anyway everything came out to be $12. Will I come back? Heck to the NO. read more

Their milk tea is fantastic. I believe the price is a little steep. I had their Thai Tea as well , and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. Very unique flavour but still alluding to the standards. Boba itself, which I don't normally eat was absolutely perfect and of course friendly service amounted in an A+ experience. I had to deduct one star because there is no air conditioning and it's hot right now. Maybe misters would be helpful! read more

We just randomly found this place by driving in K-town and we loved it ;) now I found another good spot to hang out. I usually like Korean owned cafes so I try to find cafes in K-town but this one was actually Japanese owned! I was happy to find some Japanese cafe in Korea town too! :) The service was so good and the BOBA was the bomb!! :D I love Boba so this makes it even better! Outside seating was nice and comfortable too. may be if there was some music playing in the back it would make people chill and stay longer :) it was little too quiet :) but I would definitely go back again :) read more

i stopped by the cafe after lunch at a-won japanese restaurant next door for some coffee. wow! the coffee costs $4.00! i initially thought that it costs that much for a huge size, but it was 12 fl oz! i didn't get it, because it wasn't worth it for me ($1.50 at starbucks or $1 at mc donald's for that size!). i'm sure the quality of the coffee must've been great, but in all seriousness for drip it wasn't worth it. so i opted for melon boba drink for $3.99. it was okay - similar to other boba places. one thing i did like was the indie feel at this cafe. it was nicely decorated with photos and floral arrangements. since i started frequenting cafes in berkeley and love the simlar feeling from berkeley cafes, i decided to try out this place. i wish the drinks were as special as the ones in berkeley. i probably wouldn't return w/ all the cafes in koreatown unless i happen to come to a-won again for lunch. read more

I ordered a limited time drink they were promoting. A salted caramel latte. Now I know myself too well...that I should always stay loyal to my coffee choices and stick with the minimum sugar intake. The coffee was good but I wasn't thriving with the amount of sugar it had. I will continue to stick with the Vietnamese choice or a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. Those are always on my inviting side for Cafe Dulce. Their Little Tokyo location is also a great visit experience. They have some tasty breakfast burritos there. Other than that, a great cafe to check out with plenty of college students here minding their business.

Even though it was a Thursday, almost all the tables were taken so I went to the outside tables for a little bit. Someone ended up leaving and I snagged their table. One thing to note is that the parking lot outside does say 2 HR visitor parking.

After waiting 10 minutes for my order in a also empty coffee shop, my friend and I go outside to eat our food and enjoy our $20 meal w/tip, we get asked to leave because they're closing... website states 7:00am- 5:00pm, it was barely 4:20pm!!!. That is why this location is being rated a 1 star, overall bad experience. Look at my pictures... I placed my order at 4:04pm, they took about 10 minutes or 13 to give me my order, we got asked to leave at 4:20pm and when I asked the cashier if he could validate my parking he said " we don't validate here, but you can ask the guy with the vest!." So I did and he told me the same thing "we don't validate" after being asked to leave we paid a $20 fee at 4:37pm. No hate, do better Check out their south LA location on Manchester and Vermont, great customer service and they validate parking.

Their photo booth is really cute and easy to use, but you do have to pay $10 which is not bad at all. They have their pastries facing the street entrance to the cafe (not the entrance from the parking lot). I didn't know that they had pastries on display until after I had payed for drinks and had to make line again. Can't imagine how frustrating it can be when it's a bit busy and having to make line again. I ordered a regular matcha latte with oat milk, the color was promising but once I took a sip of it I was disappointed. If you're a person that likes sweet matcha then this is for you. I personally I didn't like it just because it was sweet and grainy. I could see matcha but could not taste it. My sister got an iced vanilla latte and said it was really good! Not too sweet and not bitter either. I would have to go for an iced latte if I ever come back to visit!

Parking here may be difficult to find on the street, but they do have valet, too. On a Saturday afternoon, this spot is packed and quite hard to find a place to sit. Wi-Fi is available, though note that plugs and seating may be another issue. Not every spot comes with a plug, and it's going to be full, so you may need to wait 15-20 minutes. It is indeed a small spot, so if you're looking for a quiet spot to work, this might not be it. The interior decor, though, is quite clean aesthetically and is relaxing to work in. The Matcha Latte, though, let me say if you're in need of an afternoon pick-me-up, this will keep you energized, even without the sugar! A few sips in and a half cup later, I had so much energy I could probably run a marathon if I had the right shoes (and I don't even like running).

When I went to pick it up, I grabbed a saucer to avoid spilling on my way back to my seat. Before I could even walk away, one of the baristas snatched it from my hand and said, "You're not allowed to use that. The saucers go with the latte mugs!" I paused, glanced at the empty café behind me, and replied, "There are plenty available--surely I can use one." He continued, in a dismissive tone, speaking to me in a way that felt unnecessarily disrespectful. I chose to walk away and still enjoy my pour-over. But it's not just about serving good coffee. As Maya Angelou reminds us, people will always remember how you made them feel. And in this space, I felt unwelcome. As a paying customer--one who tipped in advance--that behavior felt undeserved and unwarranted. For that reason, there's no need to return.

The only downside is the parking since they don't offer free parking and it's valet only. If you're lucky though, you can usually find metered or residential parking about a block away. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte.
