Today, I went to Dolce Vita Coffee Shop and had their Iced Truffle Salted Latte. Last Wednesday, (7/8/2026), I had the Iced Truffle Salted Latte here while my mom had a Hot Americano. We both enjoyed our drinks so much that I couldn't stop thinking about mine, so I came back again today. Today's latte was just a little sweeter than last Wednesday's, but it was still absolutely delicious. Just like last time, I ordered it with very easy ice, almond milk, and decaf, and they made it perfectly. I especially appreciated that when I emphasized the easy ice and decaf, the barista--who took my order and made my drink--asked me if that amount of ice was exactly what I wanted and confirmed it one more time before making it. That extra attention to detail made the experience even better. The interior was incredibly cozy and peaceful. They had both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio felt like a beautiful secret garden. With its cozy, quiet atmosphere, wonderful service, and amazing coffee, this is definitely a place I want to return to. Today was already my second visit, and I have a feeling I'll be coming back often. They have parking at this location! The workers there are very nice. Please note that they have signs of not allowing outside food or drinks in. What they do allow, is PETS!! Used to be Balcony, now the management seemed to have changed and the cafe came with brand new name, concept, and menu. Same convenient space with petite indoor seats and semi-outdoor covered patio. It's quite busy throughout the day on Sunday, but not to the point that there's long line. Some guests did linger for longer as they worked or even played games lol. The inside features nice wooden benches and a mix of low- and regular height tables. If you're not a fan, there's also a high counter (and chairs) near the door, though there may be noise with an open door. Work wise, the environment here is very comfortable with mildly audible music, engine thrusts from the nearby streets, and the occasional espresso whizz. Cute little hidden gem café in Ktown! I visited this café on a Friday afternoon with some friends to get some work done and it was pretty good experience. Despite it being small, I liked the interior and exterior which was aesthetic and vibey. Outside, there was tons of outlets, it was shaded, and there was multiple fans in case it gets too hot. I ordered the Tiramisu Latte and it was above average. My favorite part of it was the cream top which wasn't too sweet and was creamy. The latte itself was okay, but I felt like the coffee was diluted too much from the milk. I've had better Tiramisu Lattes elsewhere. Still above decent though, but I wouldn't necessarily get it again. I also tried my friend's matcha drink which was also okay, but not terrible. The service was good and the servers were nice. For parking, they have a little parking lot that they share with other businesses so it may get tricky to snag a spot during peak hours. However, there are a lot of free street parking spots nearby which was nice. Overall, a good experience here and I would come back to WFH and/or catch up with friends. Ordered the iced tiramisu latte and was surprised to see on my receipt that they charge extra $1.50 for mascarpone cream and 50 cents for tiramisu when that was part of the ingredient...would've appreciated if they let me know ahead of time that these charges will show up on the receipt because it sort of felt like I was deceived. $8 drink tasted good, but left sort of a bad taste after seeing the receipt like that. The nearly 500 reviews on this page are majorly for Balcony Coffee, as are the photos of the menus, the drinks, the food, etc. Which means that the overall star rating is not reflective of a "completely separate, small, and independent business." I'm not sure why there isn't a new page for Dolce Vita that isn't still attached to Balcony Coffee so that Dolce Vita can have it's own reviews and ratings. I came here to finish the second half of my work day outside of my place. Ordered a decaf Americano and had a bagel with blueberry compote cream cheese. The Americano, though decaf, tasted acidic and that's including having creamer in it. The bagel was huge and filling. I liked the blueberry compote in it. I wish there was a bit more cream cheese in it as it didn't fully cover the bagel. I'm going to assume that it was possibly an off day. I did enjoy the soft jazz music and the patio to work from. I've heard great things about this place, so I tried their matcha latte via a delivery app! Before I placed the order, I called to inquire about their vegan options. The person who answered the phone wasn't very sure but told me that they had vegan options. They also noted that the cream that comes on top of certain drinks is NOT vegan. But my disappointment was due to how much room they left at the top instead of filling it up. When I opened the lid, it looked so sad and empty, and to make it worse, the drink was already small in the first place!
