On a whim I stopped in today after calling to see if they had time to potentially repair a puncture in my tire during my lunch break. I had planned on leaving it and getting an Uber back to my office to pick up up after work, but they were able to take my car in immediately, figure out where the puncture was and that it could be fixed and repaired it within 25 minutes all for an affordable cost. The staff was personable and professional, specifically I believe I worked with Joel as he was the guy who originally spoke with me from the counter when I walked in and he was knowledgeable and good at getting me in and out with a repaired tire! Waiting lounge was clean and comfy. Will be coming back for all future auto work that they can cover in the future. read more

We have been using this company for over 12 years now. Generally you can get on their schedule within a day or two. My daughter scheduled her car to go in as her window wouldn't go up. She told them the problem and they said they would call when it was fixed. A couple hours they call and said it had come unplugged and no parts were needed. They said they were charging us for a "diagnostic check". And that will be $164.78. When I went up there and questioned it he said they have been billing for diagnostic checks for many years. I guess I never was billed for one. He told me the mechanic "has to get paid" and "it takes an hour to take a door panel off". Well I don't know what level of expertise his mechanic is but that is crazy. Our receipt states the Complaint : window stuck Cause: window connector unplugged Correction: DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. Had my brakes checked for uneven breaking and also while there tire rotation and oil change. I really appreciate their honesty as they said I had 80% remaining on pads and front rotors were warped and needed to be removed (which I assumed was the problem). Very fair price. I use this place for my business and have for years and years. I had a car and took it in four times to have it fixed to a ton of money. Then had to put a motor in and the quote was $1500 less when I approved it. Now it's having a transmission light coming on and had a front end alignment done along with a power steering flush that I didn't okay either one Now it runs rougher and had some other issues. They are fair, pleasant, and easy to work with. I've never felt taken advantage of by them in any way and cannot recommend them enough. Friendly, knowledgeable employees. Didn't try to up-sell me on items I didn't need. I mostly dealt with Ryan, and he was super nice. Kept me informed as to everything happening. I didn't even have to make an appointment. Just walked in about 12:30 and my new tire was put on and done at 5:00, as promised. Will definitely use these guys again when more work is needed on my car. My last experience at my dealership's mechanic was not good- they promised to fix some stuff, then didn't. I'll start by saying I gave this place SO many opportunities to fix their mistakes and my experience there and they continued to fail me and ruin my car. I took my Jeep in for a cylinder misfire which cost me a little under $1,000 to repair. However they tried to quote me over $2,000 by listing 36 cylinders on my invoice. If you're unfamiliar with cars they will absolutely try to take advantage of you like this. When I went to pick up my car it was boxed in and the mechanic had to pull it out. He proceeded to side swipe the car next to mine while backing out and continued to back out while scratching both cars. The manager was gone when this happened so I left and decided to call him to address it. However when I left my engine light was still on. When I returned to the shop to address the incident and ask about my light the manager showed no remorse for what happened to my car. He went into the shop and screamed at his employees but didn't offer any reimbursement or repair for my car after getting banged up. Additionally after checking out the engine light again the manager told me I would have to replace my engine for $10k!! I have owned several Wranglers much older than this one and have never had to replace an engine (this one was only 5 years old). I wound up taking my Jeep into a certified Jeep dealer and had a much better and safer experience. This shop will completely take advantage of you and charge you way more than they should. I purchased new tires at a shop near my River Market home last week in preparation for my drive across the country to move to Miami, and when I was running last minute errands, the tire pressure light came on and I wasn't able to inflate them with traditional air hose/gas station method. In my frantic state, I called Oades and brought my car in right away. They fixed me up quickly and were very kind/compassionate with me since I was a frantic, anxious mess. I definitely recommend Oades to others and am happy to report that I made it safely to Miami with no car issues. If I still lived in KC, I would switch my car needs to Oades for sure. read more

I asked for the 15000 maintenance, which includes engine & cabin air filters, per the manufacturer. The technician saw that both mine looked nearly new, so I didn't need them changed now. They would have added a lot to the price. I certainly appreciate not being sold parts I don't need. We always get prompt & courteous service from everyone there. read more
