An awesome French bar in Tampa! Cocktails are so much different than your usual, staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the theming as well! Now that I'm aware of this place, we will be back!

We had dinner for two adults on a Monday night at 6:30. Hostess was wonderfully welcoming and warm. She agreed to seats at a four-top because the two tops are very small (Paris-bistro small, appropriately). Our server was kind and accurate, he knew the menu and explained the cheeses to us when we asked. We sat in a smaller side dining area to the left of the bar, where it was a little quieter and had a pretty ambience. Still got loud enough to have to raise your voice to have a conversation. The main dining room had a live singer but we couldn't hear him in the side room. I had the bleu martini ($15 on Martinis and Mussels Monday) which could only be made with vodka as it is infused. It was good. We had the "pick three" tour from the fromage & charcuterie menu with the chicken liver mousse, the shaved ribbons of tete de moine cheese with dried apricots in a light syrup and the soft Delice de Bourgogne cheese, served with a mind-blowing fennel pollen honey . Outstanding flavors and textures. The baguette comes sliced and toasted but with a shaved cold butter that is so good it's almost like a triple cream cheese. Lovely textures and flavors. That was my favorite part of the meal, even though I'd hoped for a soft baguette. We shared the gnocchi with cheese and crab meat with crumbled crispy prosciutto- very good - and the roasted tomato and cheese salad ( good). Be sure to see the two themed unisex bathrooms - one for Pulp Fiction and one for Daft Punk.

We were so excited to finally get a reservation here and see what all the hype was about. Spoiler alert: worth the hype!! We were like 3 minutes early for our reservation and the hostess kindly offered for us to order a drink at the bar as the reservation before us finished paying. The bartender Garrett was phenomenal and took the time to go over the taste profile of a few menu cocktails as well as ensure us he could make anything off menu we wanted as well. Within 5 minutes of being at the bar the hostess ushered us to our table. Our server Jeff was quick to approach our table and never made us feel rushed as we asked about the different fromage options and some menu suggestions. Usually we order slowly and figure out our hunger level, but they prefer to take the full order and course it out for you, honestly this was a better decision bc we didn't want to second guess our top picks and we got to get rid of the menus quickly. With Haven no longer an option for charcuterie in tampa, I can tell you this is where you want to be. The ability to customize to your own personal preference and the excellent presentation is all you could desire in a cheese plate. Every cheese was paired expertly with a unique condiment. The baguette was a must; so fresh, grilled and warm with the fluffiest shaved butter to accompany. My fiancé had the award winning burger with carmelized onion, raclette and a homemade mustard sauce. I wanted to have a lighter option and went with the oysters and salmon crudo. Honestly I love salmon but usually it's my least favorite crudo option and this blew me away. It was by far the best crudo I have ever had and I have tried it all over the world. The oysters were from the west coast of the US and were incredible. By far the meatiest I have ever tried. Unfortunately all this delicious food (with 3 rounds of cocktails and the sommelier suggested wine) was enough and we couldn't make dessert work. We already can't wait to come back and would definitely request Jeff again. Everyone who worked there seemed excellent and like they were proud of the gorgeous restaurant and the food service they gave however, so I am sure every server would still give a Michelin worthy experience.

This is my first time trying French cuisine so I can't say much about the food but overall it is alright. I do especially like the escargot, and wish we had ordered extra bread to dip into the sauce. The entree tbh fell short. The dessert we had was the chocolate mousse, prob the best thing we ate that evening and of course we totally forgot to take a photo of that. OKAY, the space is limited at the restaurant. So if you're trying to have a romantic calm and relaxing fine dinning experience for 2.. might want to re-consider. The tables are SO close to each other that our waiter can barely get in between. We went for a birthday occasion so we were looking forward to it, but we were sat next to a group of 4 ladies who were chatting so loud that we felt like it was all that we can hear. Our conversations felt like a hassle because we would need to raise our voice to be able to hear each other, not so romantic anymore....

Another phenomenal restaurant from the group running Rocca & Streetlight Taco. We went on. Sunday evening and had a great meal experience. From the friendly greeting upon entering to the professional yet friendly service offered by the service staff. A dark, romantic setting as if you were in a French patisserie for a meal. Our cocktails were delicious, especially my wife's Sidecar. The French Onion soup was so tasty & cheesy. The dinner dishes were perfectly plated and so tasty - Steak Frites & Dover Sole. We were stuffed so we didn't get a chance to try the desserts. Great looking bar and we saw two sisters sitting there chatting up a storm while nursing wines. Nice to have a traditional French restaurant in the area. Can't wait for their Spanish restaurant

Wow!! My boyfriend doesn't even like French food and he was impressed by here. This is a date night must. The inside is dark, yet romantic. It doesn't look like a Parisian bistro on the inside, but that doesn't bother me. As a French food snob, I loved our dishes. The heritage chicken (and its leftovers) have lived in the back of my brain since we went a month ago. The French onion soup is one of the best in Tampa and a must get too. This is a very expensive dinner, but worth the price. We loved it!

Had an amazing experience at Bar Terrior, a cozy and stylish French spot that completely delivered on food, drinks, and atmosphere. The cocktails were top-notch, the service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance? Total vibe. Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Special shoutout to the Espresso Martini, which was made perfectly, and the escargot, which is a must-try, buttery, garlicky perfection. What I ordered: - FROMAGE & CHARCUTERIE - BAGUETTE: grilled bread, normandy butter - ONION SOUP: emmental, gruyère - ESCARGOT: garlic butter - GNOCCHI a la PARISIENNE: grilled maitake, haricot verts, truffle cream - CASSOULET: duck confit, toulouse sausage, duroc pork shoulder, tarbais beans - CHOCOLATE MOUSSE: hazelnut, px sherry

Amazing new hotspot! They do French food right! Came in on a busy day without reservations but was accommodating by giving a time limit so that the next reservation at the bar was timely. So knowing that, it was fine. Later on they were able to move over to better seating anyways so it all worked out and still got wonderful service without skipping a beat The coconut curry milk punch was balanced perfectly and the clarity of the liquid and ice made it that much more appealing. The beef tartare was so flavorful with the beef chicharron and that yolk was everything, so bright and orange. Some of the best tartar I've had ever! The steak frites was cooked perfectly. The fries came out piping hot and the steak was cooked perfectly, it was so tender. They gave complimentary lavender meringue at the end out of a cigar box and it was a very nice gesture. I did see people surrounding me finishing all their dishes clean and getting desserts so I know others enjoyed it as well This is one spot not to miss, the place is quite intimate and on a smaller scale. I would say reservations are highly recommended for this busy spot but they are very accommodating without. I definitely appreciated them working with me to be able to try them out and for them to not lose business. I want to come back again and again. Even their bathroom was fun with a different ambience, separate music and disco ball

I highly recommend; make a rest as service and food was amazing. One downside is the dinner searing where if your table faces the front door as guests are walking in the sun hits your face. Luckily enough we were seated in a corner that was fabulous!! Staff was amazing but be prepared to drop a lot of pennies for exceptional food!!!!!!! I can't say enough

Went again for the Valentine's Day prix fixe menu. They had just recently opened up a new expansion and I guess they weren't properly prepared for the extra volume. Food took a bit to come out but the service was excellent and we were promptly attended to. Food was prepared perfectly. No notes!

Everything was a WOW! The food was outstanding and the service to match. So many WOWS. I couldn't stop saying that. (only questionable wow was how loud it was on a busy night) We started with heirloom tomatoes which were amazing. Then the mussels that we unbelievably by far the most delicious plum mussels. The our sever suggested the chicken which was also amazing! . The flavors of each dish was so well prepared with multitudes of complex use of herbs. Well done chef!

Bar Terroir was the perfect choice for our recent date night. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt chic and intimate with dim lighting, cozy tables, and the ideal spot for conversation. Our server was warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel effortless. She guided us through their impressive wine list, helping us select a French red that paired beautifully with our meal, earthy, elegant, and just bold enough to stand up to the rich flavors of our entrees. We Ordered the Beef Tartare which was delicious served with unique beef chips. Market Salad Crisp, fresh, and thoughtfully dressed more than just a filler, this salad had intention. Beef Cheek (Bourguignon-style) was Fall-apart tender and full of deep, soulful flavor. The red wine reduction was amazing. We chose a Burgundy that was smooth with earthy notes, recommended by our server and it couldn't have been a better pairing. Bar Terroir absolutely delivered on ambiance, flavor, and hospitality. It's not cheap, but every detail from the curated wine list to the execution of each dish justifies the price. If you're looking to impress or just reconnect over amazing food, this is your spot.

We stumbled here on Easter Sunday cause a bunch of other restaurants were closed. What a pleasant surprise. The food and service were excellent. Hannah really took care of us. Can't recommend it enough.

The special was tilefish, we ordered several kinds of seafood including lobster, crab, and snapper while I had the lamb saddle. Personally speaking the blue crab avocado appetizer was something I had to order because of all the pictures I had seen, and it did not disappoint. The romulade alongside the dish gave it a fresh, elegant bite which was rich but bright. The Colorado lamb saddle had the texture of a well prepared filet mignon perfectly baked inside of a puff pastry. I was calling it a lamb wellington for fun, but that may have been the most I have ever enjoyed a lamb dish. It was hearty, and perfectly balanced between tender meat, crisp crust, and savory sauce. The pineapple dessert was light, refreshing, and felt like a unique cross between a tangy desert and a sweet airy coconut whipped ice cream. I was however very jealous of the others that ordered the rich chocolate soufflé. 10/10. I would say this is a necessary experience for anyone that lives in the area.

We started with the Million Dollar Deviled Eggs, topped with crispy oysters, bacon jam and caviar. They were creative and packed with flavor. The caviar came through a little stronger than we would have preferred, but everything worked surprisingly well together. Bill put them around 3.5-4 out of 5, while Deb gave them a 3. The wine was one of the best parts of the meal. I had the Ken Wright Cellars Pinot Noir and loved it--fruity with a peppery edge in a really good way. Easy 4.5/5. Deb went with the Drylands Sauvignon Blanc and gave it a solid 4/5. Both wines paired nicely with the deviled eggs. For lunch, we tried the blackened grouper sandwich. The fish and smoky Old Bay rémoulade were very flavorful, and the sandwich itself earned a 4/5 for taste. The problem was the $34 price tag. It simply felt too small for that price, so we'd put the value closer to a 3. Dessert turned things around again. The mango sorbetto was cold, bright and refreshing, and the accompanying sugar cookies added a surprisingly nice contrast. At $7, it felt like a much better value. 4/5. Overall, Oak & Ola delivered some very good flavors and an excellent wine experience. We'd return, but we'd probably be a little more selective about the higher-priced entrées.
