Love the Oak and Stone so much I signed up for their rewards program and got a free app! This location has a main floor bar and restaurant as well as an elevator behind the hostess stand that you can take to their rooftop bar with beautiful view of the water and Pier 22. When it's busy upstairs, the hostess will take your number and text you when there's an opening. They overestimate the wait so you're called sooner than anticipated, which is great. There is a wall of self pour beers on tap and my red sangria was good. The bartenders are very friendly and the food is delicious! The best item on the menu are the cheesesteak egg rolls. If you're staying at the SpringHill Suites in the same building, you can use your hotel keycard on the top floor to enter the pool area and your own hotel-only access to the barstools at the far end of the Oak and Stone bar, where you can order food and drinks. read more

First of all the view was omg amazing there are no words for it! You get off the elevator and it takes your breath away. Chandler was our server and actually very cute, he knew it was our first time and made it a great first impression. We started with the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls they were delicious. Then proceeded with a pretzel encrusted fish and a burger, let me tell everyone the flavors were absolutely amazing and delicious! The entire experience was a five star one at that! If you get a chance to go to Bradenton stop by this location, the craft brewery and beers on tap are endless with flavors to choose from! Wow I can't say enough about how amazing this place is. Now I know why the wait was just over an hour. The view and food was fantastic. Funny story order the hummus and when it arrived I smelled something amazing and looked at the table behind me thinking it was them. Nope it was the bread with the hummus. It made me so happy that what I was smelling was actually what I ordered. And the pizza like unbelievably delicious. The crust and undercarriage outstanding!! This was my first time visiting the Bradenton location however, I WILL BE BACK! Nestled in the downtown area adjacent to the Marina, makes it a perfect location after a long day of boating or a day downtown. The rooftop bar/seating area is second to none. Our server Blake made our birthday meal even more special. The delicious food paired with the ambiance is a must experience. If you're in town, visit the Bradenton Oak and Stone. You won't be sorry The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bar was so busy it was practically impossible to get a drink unless it was ordered by a server or you are seated at the bar. read more

We arrived to Twin Dolphin Marina recently on our boat and couldn't wait to explore Bradenton. On the way walking back from the Saturday Farmers Market stopped in to get the 411 on why Oak & Stone opened at 10 AM on Sat and Sun, when are your Happy Hours etc..as we will be here on and off for a year on our boat - we were met at the hostess stand by a young lady Jhene - WHAT A DELIGHT - she was a fantastic brand champion! In fact she got us so pumped about coming in that on Sunday we went in to watch football and enjoy, what my wife says was, the best pizza ever! The Hot Honey pepperoni, jalopeno, cheese and sauce pie. The best part is Jhene while a fantastic brand cheerleader is not a hostess but a wonderfully talented server who made our experience one we will repeat often. 10 out of 10 Jhene!!!! read more

I have been to the roof deck many times. Every time, it has been great. If I was a beer drinker, I imagine it would be even better. There are many many taps! Food wise, it's plays as a good American bistro. I've enjoyed the wings, pizza, and the grouper sandwich. I've not heard complaints from my dining companions about any of the food. Of note:this is outside! There is lots of sun and wind if it is sunny and windy. There is plenty of shade but if you want to be out of the sun, make sure you are strategic with your seating choice. Decent spot that we decided to try on a whim for our lunch break with the kids during our visit to the Bishop Museum (walking distance so that was a plus!). We were told downstairs that for outdoor seating on the rooftop there would be a 20 minute wait, but when we arrived upstairs they sat us right away. Not sure what the discrepancy was there, but of course we were happy with it. Rooftop has great views and they've got a nice vibe up there with couches/table groupings as well as regular restaurant tables. My Tuna Poke bowl was unexpectedly fantastic. I guess I don't set the bar high when ordering something like this at a brewery/chain type place but I was pleasantly surprised. The tuna wasn't seared at all which I actually really enjoyed and the fresh crisp kale paired with the slightly spicy sauce and other toppings was really a nice combo. My husband had the Voodoo Chicken Sandwich and said that was decent also. Two things that could have made our time there more enjoyable - 1) a friendlier server. Gosh, nothing is worse than a server that seems irritated she has to wait on you, and irritated with any response or conversation you try to have with her; 2) heater lamps. It was a cloud covered breezy day and some good ol' heater lamps would have made our time out there a bit more pleasant :) I'd swing back in if we were near there again. read more

Does not care for inspections (they're making your food that you eat and touch), GM could not show a copy of the inspection that's recent, employee slammed the door in my face when asked why the elevator was shaking. Elevator has not been inspected since 2024. Rooftop was amazing but no other way to get upstairs to enjoy. Eating downstairs is safe and accessible for all. read more

It was a 40 minute wait so we all met downstairs and had a drink while waiting for our table. We arrived during Happy Hour so Tito's cocktails were $5 and wines were $4. Great prices which brought in a crowd! We chose the rooftop deck which is on the 8th floor. The inside downstairs is a bit noisy and echos from the hard surfaces. The rooftop has the most amazing view of the Manatee River close enough to the Bay so it's wide and the water was beautifully blue to match the sky. We found a table with shade and, even though, it was a touch warm to start, they had a few fans that made it nice. Our group had Pretzel Crusted Tuna sashimi -super delicious with or without pretzel crust Tuna Poke Bowl -delicious tuna with lots of tasty sesame kale Griddle Burger, (good) Kung Pao Cauliflower- good but lots of breading Whipped Citrus Hummus-definitely a winner with crispy flatbread Fried Calamari-mushy, we wouldn't do again Most of us had Wine or Tito's Vodka Tonic but one tried (and we have to mention) a Smoked Old Fashioned which was wonderfully unique! The service and ambience needs a bit of constructive feedback... - Tables around ours needed bussing and cleaning. Dishes were cleared but glassware and condensation water all over table. - My starter Pretzel ended up being the last thing we received, after following-up at least once. - Our kids got the freebie Shirley Temples, which was nice until we had to pour the glasses ourselves into the kids cups, which we had to ask for again after being told they would be brought out. Those original (now empty) glasses remained on the table the whole time. - We had to ask for refills for the $4.50 soda ourselves and the empty glassware wasn't picked up. Yes, those glasses too... - We never got plates for the pizza or the late pretzel. - I paid in cash and felt like my change was purposely given in certain denominations as to limit the flexibility on my tipping, but maximize theirs... Came here with a bunch of family. If one word sums up the rooftop experience it's "Ambiance". It took 2 hours for them to seat us which was frustrating. Once up there, the crowd was pretty young and glamorous. We ordered drinks and they were too TGI Fridays like. I really wish places down here would make an honest Rum Runner or Rum Punch. They use the cheap liquor and subpar ingredients. They all taste fake. We ordered our appetizers came and they were really good. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls and Bavarian pretzels were really good. Next came the burgers. The burgers were really good. The fried cheese patty on top was weird but it was good. Giving it 4 stars if you are staying at the Springhill Suites, it's in the same building but not part of the hotel. We put a load of laundry in at the hotel and headed to the restaurant for a drink - they have serve yourself taps!!! The vibe was so good that we stayed for dinner. When you enter, the staff is very warm and welcoming and the ambiance was relaxed, a great place to sit and have one of the many delicious types of beer they offer. I met up with my family here for my cousin's birthday lunch. There were 9 of us but we were quickly seated in two booths next to each other. We sat indoors, near the kitchen, not on the famous roof deck. Our booths in the back were roomy and comfortable and there were multiple TVs in every direction. Our server was great - so often servers get flustered or slowed down by big groups but she was on the ball! I started with a delicious cocktail called "The Last Word." I always like to have the last word, so this was perfect for me. My aunt and cousins had a good time checking out the beer wall, which is basically a self-pour situation where you pay for what you pour. If you know me, you know that if there's a Tuna Poke Bowl on the menu, I'm going to try it. So, of course I got the tuna poke bowl! I really like that it came with kale rather than rice (more vitamins, fewer carbs!) My only critique was that it was a LOT OF kale, I ended up putting at least 2 cups of kale to the side and I ate plenty! Maybe a little bit of some other greens would have been nice. My husband had the lunch special that came with a personal pizza, a small salad, and a soda. I guess it was good because he at the whole thing! After lunch, we walked through downtown Bradenton to the Village of the Arts, which made for a nice stroll. Jacob, the manager that evening, took excellent care of us. He personally sat us in a good location with minimal noise so my 93 yr old mother could hear us without much difficulty. The food was wonderful! We had a Philly Cheese Eggroll appetizer which was great, and the main course of a huge grouper sandwich and 3 different pizzas were all very tasty. Visited Oak &Stone in downtown Bradenton and to be honest, I was disappointed. We sat in the rooftop dining area and we couldn't have asked for a better view. They should be grateful for that view hoping it takes your mind off the service. We felt very neglected by our server. Not checking in on us, God forbid they refill our drinks and the time it took to receive our food was surprising. At least we had our view of the river and the electrical workers! Oh I didn't tell you about the electrical workers? They were installing light fixtures right in the middle of lunch service. That's right loud drills and people on ladders right next to our table. Those tasks should be done after hours. Sorry. I will say, when we FINALLY were served our food, it's was great! Flavorful and hot. My compliments to the kitchen staff.
