If you've come here for a food review, you are in the wrong place. I never received my food and thus am unable to provide such a review. If you are looking for a delivery and/or customer service review, then let me take thee on a journey... a 2 hour journey in which a $140 delivery order was placed, lost, canceled, found... and, well read on for the ending my friends. If you are like me, and hate door dash due to multiple bad experiences, do NOT order delivery through Oak & Stone's site. I ordered $140 worth of food at 7:30pm on a Friday evening. After ordering I received the dreaded Door Dash status text. I instantly knew my evening was doomed. After an hour I received the driver information. I was immediately notified by said driver that the order was "cancelled". I texted the driver asking what happened and they informed me that the restaurant said "we sent that order with another driver". Begin the hour journey to try to get my money back. I called the restaurant first. The manager literally said "sorry we sent it, this is on Door Dash". She basically said sorry about your luck, call door dash, I am not helping you. I was shocked by the lack of empathy and ownership considering I ordered through the restaurant's website! I didn't ask to use Door Dash. I went directly to Oak & Stone's site. They had a delivery option and I decided to use said option. So I call door dash, as instructed (phone call number 2). The door dash rep said "we can't refund you because you ordered through their site and we do not have your card information. Here call this customer service number for Oak & Stone. Call this instead of calling the actual restaurant." Begin phone call number 3. Said number was the restaurant in Sarasota, not a general customer service number. The manager in Sarasota was actually as helpful as he could be, considering it wasn't his place that messed up. He took my name and number and asked me to call door dash again. HOWEVER, he took on ownership of calling Bradenton to see what happened. Begin phone call number 4. Very agitated at this point I called door dash again... this time I said "look give me my money". The dd rep gave in and said "ok, I can't give you a refund because I don't have your financial information. I'll send money to the restaurant and they will have to refund you. With no other options I agreed to call the restaurant again. Begin phone call number 5. If you are reading this, I can't believe you are still with me. I debated calling Sarasota because the manger was helpful there. However, I knew that I wasn't really his problem and I decided to call Bradenton. I reached the wait line and the call was "disconnected" with no answer. Begin phone call number 6. This was truly the last call for me. If there was no answer I was going to drive to the restaurant to have an in-person conversation and a free drink. Fortunately, this time the manager answered directly. I can only assume that I was on the angry customer list at this point and the team mate said "I ain't talking to the dude" when they saw my number. When the manager answered I explained that DoorDash had sent them money so that they could refund me. The manger spent a moment clicking through to find the door dash info. Get this... she started reading the order and said "wait I have this order right here, it was never picked up". I almost lost my mind but kept my cool. Two hours in at this point I wasn't interested in their food or any more lies so, in as nice a tone as I could, I said "look, at this point I'd just like a refund, can you please issue it." Having received the money from DD, she agreed to issue the refund but informed me that it would take a few days to show up. At this point I'm waiting to see if the credit shows on my account.... I feel like any site that offers delivery should be required to tell you who they use for said delivery. If I knew this place used door dash I'd have never ordered delivery in the first place. Be warned... if you order delivery from this place via their site and someone on either end messes up you are going to have a hard time. This bad review could have been avoided if the manager that I spoke with in call number one had taken responsibility and chased this issue to the ground. Putting me, the customer, through this is completely uncalled for. It should never have happened and the company should be embarrassed to hear that I had to go through all of this. Their upstairs/rooftop is below average. The service is very very slow. If you plan on going during the day, prepare to be quite warm. They have umbrellas for shade, but not for every single table. Food is pretty below average too unfortunately. If you're looking for better service, sit downstairs. read more

It was a fun restaurant with a beer wall. I love a good beer wall because you can try so many different beers and pour how ever much you would like of each kind. The food was delicious. Our party got a couple burgers and a couple pizzas and everyone was happy with their food. They have a rooftop bar with its own beer wall that we were excited to go try after dinner. Our waiter told us we can go up there at anytime but to cash out with him first. Once we cashed out with him headed towards to elevator to the roof only to find out it was at capacity. We just wish they would have let us know before we cashed out that we could no longer go up there because would have gladly stayed downstairs for another beer but ended up just leaving. read more

Beautiful spot to come watch the sunset, has a great view to the water at the rooftop. I had the sweet heat pizza which was personal sized and very tasty. The beer/cider wall was very unique concept and I liked being able to try different options while only pouring what I wanted to drink. I think this place would also be great for happy hour. It is a large venue and they have downstairs area also. read more

UPDATE!! I had the pizza with the hot honey recommended by a customer, and it was terrific (the pizza is called The Farmer & the Pig) !!!!! My husband is not a fan of hot honey, but he loved it! I had Emma again as my bartender . I adore her!!! My husband ordered the spicy old-fashioned that is on the brunch side of the menu. Wow! I love this place!! Wonderfully located on the roof of a tall building overlooking the harbor, this place is a perfect location for any outside drinking event with friends. They have figured out a great way to let people enjoy numerous different beers on tap by handing out cool wrist bracelets. All you have to do is take your empty glass to one of the many drafts available, swipe your wristband, and pour like a champ! PURE GENIUS! I have no idea what the other 5 people in our party ordered since I was too busy devouring my meal. I'm assuming that everyone else enjoyed their meals since no one needed a to-go container. Our first visit for a lunch. Unusual is best description. Located on top of the Marriott at Manatee River waterfront. Parking always fun. Plan on a short walk. Downstairs, a dining room, bar, TVs, and 68 taps to select from - beer, sangria and wine. Upstairs, on the rooftop, accessed via elevator to the 8th floor, a bar, TVs, and tables to enjoy the spectacular views. Only 14 taps upstairs, but you can ride down and access the taps on the main floor. Taps are accessed via a beer bracelet. Each tap will charge you per ounce of pour. You can taste a bunch or fill up your glass. Ever fetch your own drink via elevator? You can do it here! Weird eh. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere in the Palmetto/Bradenton area-- definitely world's above the local Palmetto waterfront joints like Woody's or Whiskey Joe's. They were super busy when we got there on Sunday, but we were able to be seated after about a 15-20 minute wait. We had a new server that was being trained, but she was super friendly and her trainer was right there to support her so we did not have any issues with service at all and they were both attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We started with the philly cheesesteak eggrolls, pretzels, and pickle fries. All of them were really good. The eggrolls were juicy and full of flavor. The pickle fries were different from what we have had in the past since they were more like a fry shape, but were super flavorful and cooked well. The pretzels were soft and the beer cheese was delicious on the side. I just wish the beer cheese would have been a little warmer. We then ordered 2 pizzas - pepperoni & Fun Guy - to share with the kids. They were thin crust and full of flavor. The pepperoni was a touch spicy, but nothing too much (just sharing so others are aware). The fun guy was so flavorful and really liked the truffle oil as the topping. I ordered the Lavender lemonade which was light and refreshing. It was not too strong and was a nice cocktail to go with the food we selected. We have another trip down to Bradenton early next year and looking forward to stopping in again to try different items on the menu since there were so many different options to choose from. read more

They were open later than many surrounding places so we chose them out of convenience. We had the Carolina wings and Philly egg rolls and a couple El Chapo Margaritas. Service was super slow but the server was as attentive as possible (they were slammed). Everything was good. No complaints. Nice atmosphere. Also nothing stands out as super memorable either. It was raining so no outside seating (but it looks great in pictures!) This place is great....except for the bathrooms. They are terrible, they need to be cleaned or at least checked on every hour or really every half hour. The floor is full of pee and the garbage is full and over flowing of paper towels. I don't mind paying top dollar for good beer and drinks but keep your bathroom clean. read more

Love the Oak and Stone so much I signed up for their rewards program and got a free app! This location has a main floor bar and restaurant as well as an elevator behind the hostess stand that you can take to their rooftop bar with beautiful view of the water and Pier 22. When it's busy upstairs, the hostess will take your number and text you when there's an opening. They overestimate the wait so you're called sooner than anticipated, which is great. There is a wall of self pour beers on tap and my red sangria was good. The bartenders are very friendly and the food is delicious! The best item on the menu are the cheesesteak egg rolls. If you're staying at the SpringHill Suites in the same building, you can use your hotel keycard on the top floor to enter the pool area and your own hotel-only access to the barstools at the far end of the Oak and Stone bar, where you can order food and drinks. read more
