Really had a taste for wood/stone fired pizza and did some searching and found this gem. The area outside has a pretty cool vibe right across a marina. Sat at the bar and the bartender was great as well as he was from same area in NE Ohio. He gave a few suggestions and mentioned the Philly egg rolls as well as his top 3 favorite pizzas. We chose the THE FARMER & PIG (prosciutto, arugula, mozzarella, hot honey, herbed evoo, fresh shaved pecorino romano) and it was FANTASTIC. Really enjoyed the dinner and drinks as well as the great service. Will def come back to this place to try a different pizza as well as check out the view from rooftop view. read more

What a wonderful experience. Ambiance really is a 5star. It's such a beautiful place. See video. The food and drinks were just perfect. My server was friendly and attentive. My only negative were both hostesses downstairs and upstairs. They looked miserable. It must hurt to smile, I guess. They were not a good first impression on my first visit. They need training. But I'm glad I stayed anyway because everything else was great. read more

We had a good table next to the window to people watch at catch up while eating. Our server was there as in she took our order. It took a few minutes longer for her to show up. When she finally did, she was talking loudly over her shoulder to another employee for far longer than acceptable. After taking our drink and food orders, she ghosted us. Beautiful establishment with gorgeous views, which I'm sure draws a large portion of their clientele. The treatment from the hostesses upstairs and downstairs was really disheartening, because they seemed annoyed with having to help us, disinterested at best. Our server downstairs was really nice and the food itself was pretty tasty. Probably won't be back because it wasn't a welcoming experience. read more

My first time eating here ...and close to sunset! We sat upstairs on the outside deck. Service was prompt and views were incredible along the railing. Beer is on tap...there are lots of options...you are given a scannable wrist ban so if you like you can try "everything" - beer is sold by the ounce. Great view from patio/ rooftop deck. Food was prepared well but didn't have a great taste. The Carolina gold bbq sauce was not to our liking. Waitress took forever to take our order and it took even longer after we ordered to receive our food. Asked for a refill and a Togo tray for our leftover food and waitress came back with a Togo tray and a Togo cup of drink. We felt as if we were being rushed off. First time dining here and after today I'm sure I'll be back and soon. I had the chicken and waffles ( excellent ). The waffles were pretty good but the chicken breast was the best I've ever had in my lifetime. In fact the chicken was so good that I ordered another chicken breast. My friend had the chicken wings and he said that these were the best wings that he has ever had. He said that he'd definitely recommend getting the wings if you decide to dine here. Our wives had the small pizza and salad and they said that both were just okay. They both enjoyed our two entrees as much as we did. Our server was really good and she was very Johnny on the spot ever time we needed her. I flew in from out of state to avoid the harsh winter storm that crippled most of America. I landed randomly at Oak and Stone for the roof top atmosphere. I got a server named Jordan. My girlfriend and I were thoroughly impressed with him and his recommendations! We came back a second time and luckily got Jordan again! He remembered us and was glad to see us again! He gave great recommendations again. Everything they serve is wonderful. My favorites are the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls, Grouper BLT, and pizzas. The dessert is wonderful as well. read more

The cauliflower was a little heavy on breading but tasty, and I got a pizza with caramelized onions and goat cheese that was very tasty (though for $2 a topping, both were very skimpy). The table also had a pepperoni pizza, egg rolls, a burger, and a ruben. All were good. The drinks were fine (pineapple mule was a little bitter). Our server was interesting. She couldn't seem to hold more than one drink in her head at a time, and when someone ordered a vodka soda she asked what kind or soda. Went for lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Parking was difficult on a busy Sunday. Join the waitlist for the rooftop and after 15 enjoyable 15 minutes at the bar we were seated. Server took our drink orders quickly then came the wait. Despite very quick serves at the bar table serve was slow. Same was true for the food. Stopped in on Sunday at Noon for lunch with a view from the 8th floor deck. Just a short wait (10 minutes) and seated close to the rail for a beautiful view of the Manatee River on a gorgeous weather day. Our server, Lily, was friendly, knowledgeable and so accommodating. I accidentally poured the wrong drink from the beer wall (wasn't anything I liked) and she was able to have it removed from our bill. She and other servers assisted us when my husband was having a diabetic low blood glucose incident and got him food quickly. These serving team members handled everything professionally and courteously. We ordered the handheld burger with Ceaser side salad and a Caprese pizza. Both were excellent! This is one of our go-to's in Downtown Bradenton. Be patient for the 8th floor deck and you won't be disappointed. Thank you Lily! read more

The food here is always top notch, and great service every time I come, usually from Lex. We're usually here once a week and typically are served by her at the downstairs bar. Never had a bad experience, been here for plenty of events and outings since we work nearby. Lex always makes it great though, definitely their best server/bartender I've seen. read more

Just say "yes!" We had a great time and meal at the Oak & Stone. Where to start... Excellent Gluten-Free Pizza! We had one of their specialty pies done on a GF crust and it was excellent! Not only was it good for a GF pizza, it was good for any pizza. I can only imagine (for now) what their regular pizzas must be like. They serve a thin crust, which is typically not my favorite. However, they won me over. The meats and veggies were delicious, as was the sauce. Just a great pie! Wonderful Beer Selection. They have a self-pour system that allows you to drink as much or as little of whatever you like. 15 varieties on tap (upstairs, more downstairs). My only disappointment was that they wasted some shelf space with a few mass-produced (I'm just going to say it, garbage) beers. However, they had several local craft brews that were very good -- and, the self-pour system is a lot of fun. The Ambiance & View. You have your choice of 1st or 8th (top) floors. We went with the top floor and the view, even at night, was excellent. The ambiance has a nice party vibe, but we didn't feel like we were in some hipster club - which works for us. I can't think of a better place to enjoy a warm evening. Great Service. We had about a 30-min. wait during prime time on a Friday night. As with most places, they'll text you when your table is ready, so you can walk around the area and enjoy that. One of the streets they are on has all of the trees on both sides of the streets lit up, which is nice. The bay across the street also provides a nice place to walk. Our server was attentive, jovial, and helpful - he did a great job and earned every penny of a solid tip. The next time we're in the area, we'll be baaack!! Highly recommended! read more

There is a street level restaurant and a rooftop area. This time we went rooftop.. the view and ocean breeze is worth it alone So. With that be being said. Drinks were good.. our waiter was excellent. Friendly and visited us appropriately. So the berry spinach quinoa bowl was very good...hummus was even ok ( but I know that is an individual thing). I also got some sashimi tuna with a "pretzel" crust... It was ok..I probably would not get this again. My companion ordered the grouper BLT... Neither of us thought this was grouper as the fish was too thin and ", tinny" to me. It was all crust and minimal fish . So view and drinks !! Great... Food. Bowl was good.
