    Do NOT recommend moving here. This place has an issue with cockroaches. It's an absolute disgrace to be told that our apt had been fumigated shortly before moving in. Only 3 months later when waking up in the middle of the night for a glass of water did I open the refrigerator door to a handful of roaches scattering around the kitchen floor and counter. After spending at least $50 of my hard earned money on over the counter roach sprays and "traps" my roommate and I finally reached out and complained to the leasing office. We were told that we would need to have our kitchen/living room fumigated. So here we go emptying out our whole kitchen and going through this process to only find ourselves with the same issue a month later. At this point, we are just riding out the remainder of the lease but can't wait to get out of this disgusting place. Wasn't surprised to see that when our neighbors next door and across the hall moved out, they had a "roach infestation" paper on their front doors. Usually not the type to rant or complain but felt the need to make a difference by sharing my experience on Yelp. P.s. These pictures don't do the infestation justice.

    Dust and nails due to roof construction.

    I lived in Oak Glen apartments for around two and a half years. The management was good initially and it has become worse in recent months. Especially for the last 9 months. I'm giving poor rating for below reasons. 1. Construction/Renovation throughout the year: Yes. One or the other construction/renovation works is always there for months and months. Initially, management says only 6 to 8 weeks. Later they extend it for 4 more weeks. If you go and ask them they say due to weather construction got affected. The pain thing here is they don't clean the patios and corridors when the work is underway. It is tenants they should clean the dust themselves. If you reach the leasing office, they will ask you to reach a construction manager who is the third party and always not reachable. 2. Record Manipulation: Yes. you heard correct. In my case, I did renew the lease online and complete all the formalities at one rate. After two months, one day morning I got a call from leasing office and they told my lease renewal did not go through and I had to vacate the unit. When I asked them the next steps, they said I need to renew the lease on that rate they mentioned or I had to vacate my place with lease breakage charges. For two months there was no message from the leasing office. When I sat with the manager to see what went wrong, i come to know it was an ex-employee who messed up my account and I become responsible for paying more rent. The next case was, they were giving a discount $250 when the construction work was in progress. One day i noticed $45 charges( with no- description) in my account. When I called the leasing office, it is charged they put in my account as the construction finished 4 days early. There was no message here as well. 3. Cleaning Charges: You are responsible for all the charges whatever they say.Yes. you heard correct again. They will send you the pictures of it and believe it or not, some of them are not even yours. 4.Leasing office staff: Leasing staff is "not tenant-friendly" except Lani Hamilton who always puts best efforts to help and assist whenever there is an issue. Lastly, the maintenance staff is amazing and tenant-friendly. It is NO place to live.

    1. Please please please do not do construction on weekend 9:00am morning. 2. I understand that legally "..we are allowed to do this any day...". Just please do not! 3. The construction often caused dust everywhere. Please clean it. TYVM.

    Everyday I have to clean the corridoor because the blower guys are not doing their jobs properly. They just leave all the dirt from construction at my doorstep. I tried calling the management but as usual they are not picking up. Paying thousands of $$$ to live in this shit.

    There isn't enough parking, if you get here after 7 you have to drive around the whole complex looking for parking. They also have construction that takes up a lot of the parking spaces

    Overall, the property is excellent. A few things stand out right away, starting with the gym. It is…read moreexceptional and feels like a space people genuinely enjoy being in, even beyond working out. The rooftop pools are beautiful, though they can get busy with kids on weekends. It would be great to see one designated as adults only. The dog park looks like a great feature for those with social dogs. Ours is a bit older and not quite as enthusiastic about the younger crowd, but it is still a nice amenity to have. That said, the best part of this complex is the leadership, especially Johnny, the General Manager. Well-run properties always have strong leadership behind them, and that is very evident here. When we moved in, Johnny personally made sure everything was taken care of, from small adjustments to the overall move-in experience. Greystar is fortunate to have someone like him leading the property. If you are considering living here, I would absolutely recommend it. My wife and I have been very happy with our experience.

As a newer community, they're still working out some kinks, but we're excited to see the property continue to evolve. One thing we didn't fully anticipate is that the area isn't quite as walkable or bike-friendly as we had hoped yet, so we're really looking forward to the retail development being expedited so residents can have closer access to fun hangouts, shopping, and food options. We'd also love to see more community-building and social events to help residents connect and meet each other. It could even be great to have some kind of message board or community feature in the resident portal for informal meetups, recommendations, or local events. Overall, it's been a great experience and we're excited to see the community continue to grow.

    I'm really conflicted writing this because my boyfriend and I actually like our apartment and the…read moreoverall vibe here, but the amount of misinformation we've dealt with in just 4 months is honestly unacceptable. When we were apartment hunting, a huge selling point was being told that each leaseholder would get 7 guest parking permits a month. It sounded like a decent plus to the nightmare parking situation (virtually no guest spots or street parking in general; $150/month for an extra parking spot with a year-long waitlist). Instead, we found out the leasing agent completely LIED to us--it's actually 7 permits PER household, not PER person. I know we did not mishear this during the leasing process and that we were explicitly told we would receive 21 permits in total for the 3 leaseholders we had for our unit. When I brought this up, management admitted we were lied to, but they didn't even offer a single solution or credit for the $10-per-pass fee we're now stuck with. It feels like they'll say anything just to get a lease signed. The lack of communication between the office and security is just as frustrating. I've been kicked out of the "24-hour" business center TWICE by security because they weren't told the correct hours. I actually had to email a leasing agent myself and show the security guard the email on my phone just so she'd believe me--and even then, she took a photo of it like she still didn't trust me. It shouldn't be the resident's job to train the building's security on their own amenities! On top of that, we've already had to re-sign our entire lease two months after moving in because the office messed up the numbers on the original documents. While the unit itself is modern and I appreciate the gym and the package lockers, the "unseen"parts of living here are exhausting. The fire alarms go off at 3 AM for no reason, the power has flickered out multiple times, and it took around a week to get a working microwave when ours died. I still have 11 months left on my lease, and I'm genuinely worried about what else was a lie or what else will break. I'm mostly upset that they admitted we were lied to by their agent and took no action to make it right with us. If you're looking to move here, I'd suggest getting every single promise in writing, because their verbal word doesn't seem to be honest. I will keep this updated.

I initially lived in one of the outer apartments right next to the garages/dumpsters, but moved to an upstairs unit that was in the middle of the complex, Unit J1. Highly recommend both upstairs and middle complex because of the foot traffic and garages opening and closing. The walls are thin, that's just apartment living. Luckily I got one neighbor who was never home and my downstairs neighbor didn't mind my clogging practice. Really convenient having both in unit washer and dryers and multiple laundromats around. I never had an issue if I wanted to wash my duvet, the were never full. They also have a filtered water bottle filling station in the laundromat over by J1. Not sure if they have them in the others in the complex. (you're welcome). Sometimes I drive by just to reminisce on old times. The only small issue I had was with my deposit. When I moved out they tried to charge me for a cleaning fee, but I left my place spotless. Management companies in CA can charge a cleaning fee, but only to restore the unit to the same level of cleanliness it was in at the start of your tenancy. They cant cover "ordinary wear and tear". I ended up getting it refunded no problem, but just something to watch for.
