    Cleaning out specs from page I had dry after they dropped it out to my door during a heavy rain moment

    Moving out is a complete con. They will deliver information on your move out during a rain storm to your door handle (instead of sliding it in your mailbox). They will be charging you at least 50 dollars to clean a carpet that they will then deem had a pet odor/ urine odor (when no pets lived there) and then charge you 550 to completely change the carpet. They will ask that you clean (inside and outside the light fixture, polish the cabinet hardware, clean vents) to avoid being charged, then recommend you don't try to clean because "there is no discount for an attempt to clean". And charge you 200 dollars. Then they will have Diana call you and tell you that they decided to charge you all of this while trying to justify that the pet urine smell was smelled "despite 3 enzymatic treatments and walked through by the maintenance manager, Michael" and the carpet was already changed without you getting to walk through or try to repair it yourself. While living their, things that broke (like the 20 year old washer) was not replaced for 2 weeks. Please don't live here. Everybody who leaves regrets staying here to begin with. Correction; they called me to say there was dog poop/soil in the living room and that's why I'm being charged to replace the carpet...

    Hello everyone. I want tell for this amazing place what it is really great please. My family was last year and then we come back again. This is super closed to park and Target , Costco is in 2 mins by car. Ocean is in 15-20mins by car. My family love this place so much. So . Conclusions - this is awesome for family living. The costumers so quick and they are so great as Chuy . He is great guy and his boss Nader and Julia . These guys are amazing for people.     Guys, if you're thinking about moving here--JUST DO IT. I can't say enough amazing things about Santa Clara Apartments. They're clean, quiet, and the maintenance staff fix any issues super fast. It's in a beautiful and convenient location, next to LA Fitness, Target, a tasty French bakery, Chipotle, Sprouts, and much much more. My husband and I feel like we're on vacation while we live here, surrounded by affordable luxury. Nader, Tyrus, and Julianne made our move basically seamless. I can't say enough nice things about Nader, our leasing agent. What a friendly and helpful guy! His candor and relentless positive attitude really made us feel welcome and at home. As far as amenities, SC has them ALL: Fireplace, detached garage, pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, central air, an alarm system, new carpet, a dishwasher, and an IN UNIT washer and dryer. Can't hear one peep from neighbors even though we have people above us. The ones we've met are super duper nice and I love how diverse the community is. I feel right at home. Lots of families, students, and cute little kiddos. Come have a tour, you won't be disappointed. I can see us living here for many years to come. In love with the apartments and Irvine Company in general. Thanks, everyone!

    Overall, the property is excellent. A few things stand out right away, starting with the gym. It is…read moreexceptional and feels like a space people genuinely enjoy being in, even beyond working out. The rooftop pools are beautiful, though they can get busy with kids on weekends. It would be great to see one designated as adults only. The dog park looks like a great feature for those with social dogs. Ours is a bit older and not quite as enthusiastic about the younger crowd, but it is still a nice amenity to have. That said, the best part of this complex is the leadership, especially Johnny, the General Manager. Well-run properties always have strong leadership behind them, and that is very evident here. When we moved in, Johnny personally made sure everything was taken care of, from small adjustments to the overall move-in experience. Greystar is fortunate to have someone like him leading the property. If you are considering living here, I would absolutely recommend it. My wife and I have been very happy with our experience.

As a newer community, they're still working out some kinks, but we're excited to see the property continue to evolve. One thing we didn't fully anticipate is that the area isn't quite as walkable or bike-friendly as we had hoped yet, so we're really looking forward to the retail development being expedited so residents can have closer access to fun hangouts, shopping, and food options. We'd also love to see more community-building and social events to help residents connect and meet each other. It could even be great to have some kind of message board or community feature in the resident portal for informal meetups, recommendations, or local events. Overall, it's been a great experience and we're excited to see the community continue to grow.

    I'm really conflicted writing this because my boyfriend and I actually like our apartment and the…read moreoverall vibe here, but the amount of misinformation we've dealt with in just 4 months is honestly unacceptable. When we were apartment hunting, a huge selling point was being told that each leaseholder would get 7 guest parking permits a month. It sounded like a decent plus to the nightmare parking situation (virtually no guest spots or street parking in general; $150/month for an extra parking spot with a year-long waitlist). Instead, we found out the leasing agent completely LIED to us--it's actually 7 permits PER household, not PER person. I know we did not mishear this during the leasing process and that we were explicitly told we would receive 21 permits in total for the 3 leaseholders we had for our unit. When I brought this up, management admitted we were lied to, but they didn't even offer a single solution or credit for the $10-per-pass fee we're now stuck with. It feels like they'll say anything just to get a lease signed. The lack of communication between the office and security is just as frustrating. I've been kicked out of the "24-hour" business center TWICE by security because they weren't told the correct hours. I actually had to email a leasing agent myself and show the security guard the email on my phone just so she'd believe me--and even then, she took a photo of it like she still didn't trust me. It shouldn't be the resident's job to train the building's security on their own amenities! On top of that, we've already had to re-sign our entire lease two months after moving in because the office messed up the numbers on the original documents. While the unit itself is modern and I appreciate the gym and the package lockers, the "unseen"parts of living here are exhausting. The fire alarms go off at 3 AM for no reason, the power has flickered out multiple times, and it took around a week to get a working microwave when ours died. I still have 11 months left on my lease, and I'm genuinely worried about what else was a lie or what else will break. I'm mostly upset that they admitted we were lied to by their agent and took no action to make it right with us. If you're looking to move here, I'd suggest getting every single promise in writing, because their verbal word doesn't seem to be honest. I will keep this updated.

    I lived here from 2019-2025 and I absolutely loved it. Staff was amazing Shout out to Ruth who…read moreunfortunately no longer works in the office. I initially lived in one of the outer apartments right next to the garages/dumpsters, but moved to an upstairs unit that was in the middle of the complex, Unit J1. Highly recommend both upstairs and middle complex because of the foot traffic and garages opening and closing. The walls are thin, that's just apartment living. Luckily I got one neighbor who was never home and my downstairs neighbor didn't mind my clogging practice. Really convenient having both in unit washer and dryers and multiple laundromats around. I never had an issue if I wanted to wash my duvet, the were never full. They also have a filtered water bottle filling station in the laundromat over by J1. Not sure if they have them in the others in the complex. (you're welcome). Sometimes I drive by just to reminisce on old times. The only small issue I had was with my deposit. When I moved out they tried to charge me for a cleaning fee, but I left my place spotless. Management companies in CA can charge a cleaning fee, but only to restore the unit to the same level of cleanliness it was in at the start of your tenancy. They cant cover "ordinary wear and tear". I ended up getting it refunded no problem, but just something to watch for.
