Honestly, I don't even know where to start. I ordered a strawberry matcha from this place because the pictures posted outside looked amazing. When I get my drink, it looks unappetizing. I watched the worker make my drink and he just squirted three small shots of their matcha mix in my drink. Half the cup was filled with strawberry jam and the rest was milk, not even a layer of matcha. Not to mention he even noticed it looked bad too and just shrug and gave it to me, no cap or anything, I had to get my own. I did get my refund at the end, after waiting more than 15 minutes even though the sign posted outside "We'll be back in five minutes". No hard feelings, but I definitely don't recommend this place. The saddest part is that I leave San Diego knowing about this place. I typically go to the La Jolla UTC location, but ever since they made this location here I have to stop by when I am in town. Location in the heart of PB. Pretty small shop with limited seating and there was only one worker there when we came in. I was glad to see a location of Oakberry open up in San Diego. My favorite part of this is you choose your size they give your base and you basically can choose unlimited toppings. Know that the more toppings you get, the less açai You will get because there's limited room in the bowl. I am a new member of the Oakberry app and there was an incentive that gives you free 1000 Oakberry points when you sign up. However, the app really had some major technical difficulties, preventing me from using the reward which was the whole point in signing up. When I came in to order the bowl, the worker wasn't very compensating and about Customer Service as she wasn't able to accommodate the Bonus points. Tho would've equaled a free shot or purple lemonade. She saw the actual reward, saw that there was an error in the app, and still was not able to show good customer Service and honor what was needed. I was unfortunately disappointed in that and emailed the customer support team, but haven't heard anything back as of right now.Compared to many other acai places this one is more watery and liquidy and maybe more on the sweeter side compared to other açai places. I made my own 16oz with acai, granola, coconut, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, honey, and peanut butter. My boyfriend got the crunchy bowl. Next time we both decided my move was the best! I would get double granola and no honey next time (honey had an odd super fake sweet flavor to me). The acai itself was very good and the fruit was fresh. Quite difficult to park over there so definitely grab a spot even if you're a few blocks away. There was only one person working so it was a bit of a wait for the acai to be fully prepped - about 10 mins or so but the indoor space is super clean and trendy so not bad to wait. First, while the cup makes the presentation beautiful they are not quite as practical because it is harder to mix and actually get to the açaí. I placed an order online for an açaí bowl at 8:05pm, but when I arrived at 8:15pm, the staff told me they were closed--despite their posted hours saying they were open until 9:30 PM. I was standing at the doorway and asking the employee inside about my online order but the employee kept ignoring me. After some persistence and knocking on the door, she finally walked over to me and told me I could pick the acai bowl up the next morning but she wouldn't be able to process a refund. I told her those weren't an option and she agreed to take my name down and said the manager would refund me the next day. She also mentioned that they would be closing by 8pm that day and for the following week, but this was not posted anywhere on their platforms! The next day, I checked and still didn't see the refund, so I had to follow up again. After a phone call, they finally processed it, but kept the $1 tip I had added to the transaction. The lack of professionalism and the inconvenience they caused means I won't be coming back. If you're going to close early, at least turn off your online ordering system! read more

Açaí is good, but they give almost no fruit (it's like garnish to them), nuts, or other toppings. I don't wanna giant açaí , we come for the mixture of that with all those other good things.
