Oakberry serves up a wide variety of açaí bowl options with chia pudding ribbons. They have a good assortment of toppings to choose from, and you get unlimited toppings also. The açaí comes from a soft serve machine, so it has a good texture. Sometimes when the açaí is scooped out at other shops, the açaí is icy. So, I like Oakberry for the smooth texture. Service is quick and friendly. The shop has ample seating and a pleasant atmosphere.

Walked into the store and was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome in from the employee. Off to a good start. The inside of the store was a little trendy and def had a strong beach vibe which totally works as it's located in PB. My friend and I tried their bowls, which are really in cups, so don't be alarmed. They later on the flavors! I thought it was a cool option to add collagen to the bowl, very unique! There's a whole bunch of foods going in these like Chia pudding granola, lots of berries!! For being a healthy super treat, everything tasted super delicious. I scored a parking spot right out front on a Monday afternoon. Sometimes parking can be a little difficult in this part of town, but just keep your eyes peeled and a short walk from a block or two away isn't always a bad thing. If I'm in the area looking for a very tasty, healthy treat, this is definitely the spot!

The saddest part is that I leave San Diego knowing about this place. I typically go to the La Jolla UTC location, but ever since they made this location here I have to stop by when I am in town. This is located on a pretty busy PB strip with boutiques around, so it puts it in the perfect location. Walking in, the Lounge is huge! Enough space to stand/sit around. Even with merch you can purchase. I ordered the classic acai bowl with PB, almond butter, peanuts, cocacoa nips, strawberries bananas and condensed milk over it. Also, the number one game changer: Dried milk! THIS WAS DELICIOUS. Every flavor pretty much melted into each content. I would recommend. This isn't like your usually acai bowl where it is frozen and the acai is hard or like ice cream. This is more like a smoothie base and more runnier. However, the toppings make it tie together!

    2 small sips after.

$7.50 for tonic, super sour. The drink wasn't even full when it's served. This is how much I got after 2 small sips.

I came here around 2pm on a hot Saturday and they only had 1 person working, She definitely could have used some help so I understood that it was gonna take a few extra minutes for my bowl to be ready. I got the classic with strawberry, banana, blueberry, granola, almonds and chia seed. I was underwhelmed by the açaí as it felt super icy and almost watered down. There's so many other places in this area to try that it didn't wow me enough to some back. Presentation was pretty though!

I've gotten Açaí bowls several times from here. I like that they have new menu items often! I like that the bowls come in layers as well! Besides the bowls, I also enjoy their smoothies and chocolate bars. We usually get the Tripical beats smoothie!

Location in the heart of PB. Pretty small shop with limited seating and there was only one worker there when we came in. I was glad to see a location of Oakberry open up in San Diego. My favorite part of this is you choose your size they give your base and you basically can choose unlimited toppings. Know that the more toppings you get, the less açai You will get because there's limited room in the bowl. I am a new member of the Oakberry app and there was an incentive that gives you free 1000 Oakberry points when you sign up. However, the app really had some major technical difficulties, preventing me from using the reward which was the whole point in signing up. When I came in to order the bowl, the worker wasn't very compensating and about Customer Service as she wasn't able to accommodate the Bonus points. Tho would've equaled a free shot or purple lemonade. She saw the actual reward, saw that there was an error in the app, and still was not able to show good customer Service and honor what was needed. I was unfortunately disappointed in that and emailed the customer support team, but haven't heard anything back as of right now.Compared to many other acai places this one is more watery and liquidy and maybe more on the sweeter side compared to other açai places. Look to spend about $11-$15 for a bowl as the base price not including any additional topping prices.

Unfortunately this was the worst acai bowl I've ever had in my life. We dined in and the acai came out so watery and melted throughout.. the picture taken was IMMEDIATELY after grabbing our bowls.

My friend creates food content on instagram and we were invited to enjoy an item of our choice at Oakberry's new store in Pacific Beach. I actually been to Oakberry before but at their kiosk stand in UTC La Jolla. I'm glad to see that they are expanding and finally have a physical store. They have a wide variety of items on their menu as well as oakberry made goodies you can take home including protein bars, honey, peanut butter crumbles and more. The store itself is pretty spacious and really clean. Not only that but it's right down the street from the beach making it a refreshing treat on a hot day or in our case a great post workout meal! Their açaí is just as good as I remembered it to be. I like how you can customize your own bowl. The medium sized cup was more than enough for me. I especially loved the addition of whey protein in my bowl. It's a must try!

A hidden little gem for tasty acai bowls! I made a build your own with acai, granola, chia pudding, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and honey. $12 Not bad size for the price considering you get unlimited toppings - but not my FAV acai base I've ever had. All that to say- nice clean vibe and very sweet young lady worked at the front!

I've never had Oakberry before, but I finally got to try it during their opening event. They were offering the first 200 guests a free bowl or smoothie. I decided to try the tropical beats smoothie, and it was amazing. The staff was nice, and definitely tired from the crowd. However, the atmosphere was lively and fun. What I like about this place is that their açai bowls are in cups as opposed to bowls. What's more important is that their ingredients are fresh and their açai is so flavorful. I will definitely come back to grab a smoothie if I'm in the area.

    Crunchy Bowl

New opening for Oakberry in PB! I got a 12oz crunchy bowl and the acai was blended nicely. I also loved that it wasn't overly sweet. If you love chia pudding, definitely need to give this one a try! Looking forward to coming back :)

Good acai! I think my favorite part about this is that they serve it in a cup, not a bowl. It's so much easier to eat on the go! I made my own 16oz with acai, granola, coconut, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, honey, and peanut butter. My boyfriend got the crunchy bowl. Next time we both decided my move was the best! I would get double granola and no honey next time (honey had an odd super fake sweet flavor to me). The acai itself was very good and the fruit was fresh. Quite difficult to park over there so definitely grab a spot even if you're a few blocks away. There was only one person working so it was a bit of a wait for the acai to be fully prepped - about 10 mins or so but the indoor space is super clean and trendy so not bad to wait. If I'm going to pay $27 for two bowls, I still love my juice wave acai in mission but I would pop back in here if I was in the area and craving acai.

I placed an order ahead of time and showed up about 25 minutes later thinking it would be ready. When I checked in, a younger employee told me it would be another 10 minutes. Annoying, but okay. The parking situation around here is already a nightmare, so I really wasn't thrilled about having to stand around waiting even longer. Well, those 10 minutes turned into 25. During that time, I watched multiple people walk in, place orders after I had already checked in, and receive their food before me. The crazy part? It wasn't even busy. There was no line out the door, no rush, no obvious reason for such a ridiculous delay. After waiting long enough, I finally went up to an older gentleman working there (I'm assuming the owner) and politely explained that I had been waiting a very long time and was confused why people ordering after me were getting their food first. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, he was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was inconveniencing him for asking about an order that should have been ready ages ago. Then, after another 10 minutes, my bowls were finally ready. In total, I waited about 35 minutes after checking in for pickup. To top it all off, the older gentleman practically shoved the bowls at me without so much as a "sorry for the wait." Look, delays happen. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the complete lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service. If you're running behind, just be honest about it. Don't tell someone 10 minutes when it's really going to be over half an hour. The açaí is good, but not nearly good enough to make up for being treated like an annoyance. There are plenty of other places in San Diego serving great bowls without the attitude.
