Parking was a little difficult to find at first, especially during the lunch rush, but they do offer parking in the structure and can validate it at the restaurant, which helps lower the cost and was definitely a nice bonus. We were in the mood for something refreshing and not too heavy, and this place was perfect for that. We ordered the Aloha Bowl, Coconut Cream Fruit Bowl, Aloha Smoothie, La Jolla Club, and Coffee Crunch. I have to say, everything we tried was delicious! My personal favorite was the Coconut Cream Fruit Bowl. The fruit tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell everything was prepared with care. The portions were great, the food was light yet satisfying, and the customer service was friendly throughout our visit. Even though parking can be a challenge on the weekends, I would definitely come back again for the fresh food and great experience. read more

This spot is right off the beach so naturally that is where we went to eat our açaí bowls. The guy working was very proud of the local honey they use and I have to say...this was a delicious bowl! I'm back over 5 years later... and I am happy to report the power wrap is still absolutely delicious. Delicious and fresh food, delectable drinks and treats, fantastic vibes and superb service. The service specifically is amazing - they're super attentive and pay attention to what taste or meal generally you're trying to accomplish. I ordered the Power Wrap (my favorite item on the menu - highly recommend) and asked for no turkey. The gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish and offered a solution. That really impressed me and I truly appreciated it. It's a great spot to chill and work too [though not if you're taking calls - they have (good) music on and the other patrons can be loud]. Definitely worth visiting in the PB area! read more

This is a really cute shop tucked into a PB shopping center. The shop itself is cute and super clean. The menu is robust complete with breakfast items, smoothies, acai bowls, wraps, etc. We ordered the protein colada smoothie and the detox smoothie. Both of them had overpowering protein flavor, with the detox slightly more flavorful. They were also a bit watery. We probably wouldn't return for the smoothies, but the acai bowls looked promising. read more

I love this place! Their quinoa wrap was delicious. It had so much crisp and fresh kale and the woman who took my order was so polite and let me change the wrap in any way I wanted. I got it without the black beans and chipotle sauce. The woman even said I could order a not-spicy version of the chicken in the wrap, which was very sweet of her. So, I lived in PB from about 2015 to 2017. I used to go to the gym at Shock, right above Rum Jungle. When I tell you that this Diablo Wrap has had a HOLD ON ME for the past 10 years, it's absolutely no exaggeration. I dream of it, I drool while I'm dreaming about it, and I'll eventually drive from Escondido to PB just to wrap my lips around it. I have tried to recreate this thing at home, to no real success. GOLLY, I'm getting hungry just typing this review. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go get one ASAP. (Great smoothies, service, and vibes, too, but wow, nothing quite compares to the love of my life, the Diablo.) read more

Been here a handful of times and it's become one of my top lunch spots in the area. I LOVE their juices and I have yet to find a quick spot that has better wraps. Really enjoyed this place! I ordered the Hawaiian Bowl served in a pineapple which was not only tasty but also so pretty to look at! The Hawaiian Bowl has an açaí base and is topped with granola, banana, mango, pineapple, coconut, and honey. Greys portion sizes- I could barely finish my bowl and the fruit was fresh and sweet. They have quite a large menu with several açaí bowl options plus smoothies and some other breakfast items too (e.g. bagel sandwiches and wraps). You could get your bowl in a watermelon or pineapple if you wanted to! There was food for everyone to eat in your family, and the ambiance of the cafe was very nice. Quick simple foods/snacks (juice, acai bowls, sandwiches, wraps, and CBD drinks). No restroom. Away from the crowds. Probably great to order to-go too, and bring it to the beach to lay out and picnic. There's indoor and outdoor seating We found this place when looking for a snack place. A place that's casual, easy to grab food, no fuss place. This place was perfect. We didn't come with high expectations. And just happy they offer healthy options. Both $13.50 La Jolla Sandwich (cheese on the side), and $11.99 PB Acai Small Bowl were simple and good. If visiting PB to stroll and layout for a chill pace, this place is a good visit before, in between, or ending. Next time, I'd order a juice and CBD water drink to stroll down PB. read more

Worked from Rum Jungle the other day for a few hours and had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helped me picked out a great seat to work from with easy access to an outlet. I started with their house coffee and after an hour ordered a breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was a great value for the cost and I only ate half of it before I was full. Ordered a bagel and cream cheese but they didn't have cream cheese to they subbed for egg and cheese which was totally fine, ended up being so tasty. Would Not recommended coffee though. Chairs are all stained and filthy, service is poor- it took about 20-25min to get a breakfast diablo wrap when there were three workers and just three customers in the shop. Açaí bowls are not made with pure açaí, they taste like a sweet watered down version that takes away from the health benefits of eating the açaí berries. Which, I have been seeing more and more açaí shops use this blend in recent years... I'm sure it's to cut costs, yet they still charge $14 a bowl for it. You can also tell it's not real açaí (or very little) by the pinkish instead of the rich dark purple color of the açaí. My friend did say the diablo wrap was really tasty though. read more

Let me just start off by saying how visually appealing each entree is! Love the concept of using large fruit (pineapple, watermelon) as serving bowls! Daughter did a great job picking this place out for our monthly lunch with Gramma. They have underground parking with a modest flight of stairs to climb. Basically when you arrive, just go to the cashier and order. They will bring it out to you. We took a menu and sat down at a table, while figuring out what to order. Settled on two aloha acai bowls, yogurt parfait, chicken quinoa bowl and two mango raspberry smoothies. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Resulting in a happy tummy dance. Next visit wanna try a sandwich or a wrap. My only wish is they had their namesake, Rum. I could definitely see some sort of rum concoction served in a pineapple! read more

Love this place! We come here often when we visit the beach and I've always been happy with my purchase. I love the PB Açaí bowl, but I went with the tree hugger for *health* and it wasn't too noticeable! The bowls always look beautiful and the fruit is fresh! I always get a large because it's a $2 difference for almost double. The large is $13.99 and small is $11.99. I haven't tried the shakes, but from what I hear they are also very good. It's nicely located right next to the gym, and I'm sure get business from that. The inside is very cute! It has comfortable chairs and multiple seating options. They have water for self serve and other canned options. The staff is friendly and never had a bad experience with them. Definitely recommend! read more

This is the second time we're coming here. The location of this place is prime. The beach is right outside with a few steps. The worker were always welcoming and nice. They have many options of smoothie and açaí bowl. We got their pacific beach bowl in large size. It was perfect for the sunny day at the beach. It's satisfying if you are craving for something fruity or cold. However, comparing to other places, I don't see any difference. read more

I ordered an açaí bowl and was very disappointed to find multiple mushed (due to poor quality not handling) blueberries and overripe fruit. It was passable to eat if I ate around the bad pieces, but even just off of one look it was not something I should've spent money on. The location is nice but unfortunately the chairs are very uncomfortable. Overall I would not return, if I am paying for what is essentially a bowl of fruit- I'd expect the fruit to be fresh and the appropriate ripeness. read more

Located right along the boardwalk in Pacific Beach, and directly under Ocean Pacific Gym! This place offers delicious post work out smoothies, açaí bowls and fresh sandwiches and wraps. The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes they are unfriendly but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and guess it has something to do with being overwhelmed. We also got a cold brew with the cold foam. Great flavor from the coffee itself. Nice and bright flavor with some sweetness from the cold foam, very well balanced. The service was amazing too, very kind very friendly, and super knowledgeable about their product. We ate inside and they walked out and did a table touch and even brought us some napkins for the table. The decor and vibes was very relaxing and the building was well lit. Prices are also great, bowls include any or all the toppings that they have available. You pick your side, your base then you can build your own or pick from some of their premade builds. We got two medium size bowls, and a cold brew with cold foam, a little over 40 dollars after a 22% tip.
