I had this delivered yesterday on DoorDash and it was way above expectations. The shrimp fried rice with steak was amazing.

I went in chasing a craving and walked out like I had just shaken hands with Pittsburgh itself. The burger I ordered showed up stacked like it had something to prove. Juicy, well-seasoned meat, tangy coleslaw, fresh tomato, and a pile of fries stuffed right into the sandwich like someone said "plates are optional, courage is not." This thing is an entire meal between your hands. Napkins were not a suggestion, they were a survival tool. Every bite hit. Messy in the best possible way. If you've never had fries inside your sandwich, congratulations, your life is about to take a turn. Let's talk about that sauce for a second. Slightly sweet, ridiculously good, and honestly disrespectful that they don't sell it by the jar. I would've walked out with two and a backup. On the side, we grabbed onion rings that came out crisp, golden, and ready for business. No sad, limp rings here. These had crunch, attitude, and a purpose. My wife went with the lasagna, and this is where things got a little chaotic. Flavor? Absolutely there. Rich, comforting, the kind of sauce that makes you slow down and pay attention. But the temperature situation was all over the map. Hot at the bottom, warm up top, and a mysterious cool zone in the middle like it was hiding secrets. It didn't ruin it, but it definitely kept it from greatness. We closed it out with a slice of cheesecake that was light, delicate, and knew exactly when to stop. Not heavy, not over-the-top, just a clean, smooth finish that said "you made good choices today." Shoutout to our server, whose name I completely missed because I was busy wrestling a sandwich the size of a small child. Friendly, dialed in, always there when we needed him and never hovering like a helicopter parent. Four stars, and it hurts a little not to make it five. Fix the lasagna consistency and we're not even having a conversation about it next time. Because yes, there will be a next time. And when I come back, I'm ordering that sandwich again, bringing extra napkins, and leaving my dignity in the car.

Our server was so nice, attentive and patient with us.; she provided us with amazing service. The Primanti Bros. Originated from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I must say that this restaurant is amazing, they have everything from pizza to hoagies to wings pastas. The ambience is what you would expect from a pizzeria place, but this place has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anybody and I will be coming back.

And the shrimp salad, finishing with the bread pudding, which also had come recommended. Service - top-notch. Carol took care of us (a party of 3) from start to finish, with great wine recommendations. Ambiance - fantastic. Warm and inviting. We took a high-top towards the back. But also offered was a large bar, as well as cozy living room style seating, and 2 and 4 tops tables outside. Parking - street parking available, not sure if there are sidestreeys or parking lot as we walked there.

They have a good amount of seating both inside and out, but it was pretty busy inside when we showed up. Service was very friendly the entire night and our food didn't take long to come out. I shared the turkey meatballs and jalapeño corn muffins. The meatballs were just okay; I should've realized when it said "contains nuts," that it would be a plant-based meatball. But I thought it was just a turkey meatball, so that was a little disappointing. I should've asked about it before ordering. However, the corn muffins were delicious and the perfect small fish for both savory and sweet. Overall, a nice visit to this local spot.

Even though it was happy hour, our server was very attentive and didn't disappear when it came to refills like at other restaurants. We opted to sit outside this time and it was the perfect choice - the people watching and weather were ideal! We've sat inside previously when the weather wasn't so great outside and the ambiance is just was pleasing. This is a must visit for lunch or dinner, rain or shine when in the Ft Lauderdale area.

So the first stop on our restaurant tour was for tacos. We found this restaurant on Yelp. Of course we both got tacos! I got the short rib birria tacos that also came with a little bowl of beans and rice. My partner also got tacos (pork and beef), which came with a large bowl of beans and rice. My short rib birria tacos were so filling. I could only eat two of the three and had to bring the third one home along with her bowl of beans and rice. It was a lot of food. They were also very cheesy! The dipping sauce was good but it was different than I was used to. For drinks, I just ordered a beer and she ordered a crab cocktail. We didn't stay that long because we were both tired that day. For some reason. There is parking right out front. Of course you have to pay to park. It's a very intimate spot on. The staff is very friendly. He might be back before we leave.
