Was visiting Binghamton with the hubby this week and we had dinner at oaks inn. We followed previous reviews and was sure to make a reservation. They were busy, so glad we did. I loved my meal with the vodka sauce. It was good in the restaurant and my leftovers the next day tasted even better. The Marsala chicken was just okay per my husband. The clams casino was great. I could taste all the flavors. The greens were good too, you get a large portion and they were filling. I will say it did take a while for our food to come out but I think it's because things are made to order and fresh. I would definitely go back. The waiter was nice and made good suggestions as well.

The food and atmosphere were excellent. The waitress was a bit unfriendly, but overall the experience was a pleasant one.

Our favorite restaurant- make reservations or you'll likely eat at the bar, which is fine. Try the Chicken Saltamboca. Enjoy

Best restaurant in town. Lemon chicken with a side of penne vodka. Doesn't get any better. Bread with their dipping oil is unreal.

My absolute favorite restaurant! Stairs are hard to climb though, so elderly may have trouble.

Im a stout girlie, but it is the wrong season for that. But... I made out fine with a tart cider. Since they brew their beer themselves- makes perfect sense to focus on ipas and lagers right now. The food is amazing. Hubby and I got a cheesesteak and the Don Don, honey chicken sandwich. We've gotten them before. By far, in our opinion, the best stuff on the menu. But everything is freaking good. Friends, we were with, had a pizza, and other sandwiches. Everybody raved about what they got. Menu is big enough for a great variety. Seriously FOMO is real. You are missing out if you haven't gone. If the weather is cooperating throw a captain chair in your car and experience the kinda late spring in Bingo. So happy this place is here and that the owner is a cool dude.

I do miss the white bean dip with focaccia but the bread and accoutrements were delicious anyway. Two of us got the shrimp scampi, another the eggplant parm, and another the salmon. Their tomato sauce is thick and a bit sweet, just the way I like. Joe was an excellent server and knowledgeable of the menu. We appreciated how he made us feel welcome and was attentive throughout our meal. We would definitely ask for him again when we return! She was terrific and knowledgeable about the menu that it made our choices very difficult! My friend had Calamari Puttanesca as an appetizer, spaghetti and meatballs for the main course. A homemade Italian dressing that I wanted to take home with me. Definitely a great place and can't wait to visit again!

Okay so I know I've left a review from this place before however I don't see it on the list and the…read moreYelp is prompting me to do it again.. possibly because a few months ago the ownership changed. This restaurant is known all over the area for having the best prime rib and I'm assuming it still is as good as like I said there's new ownership and I don't believe they changed a whole lot on the menu but until I've actually tried it again I can't say for sure. My wife has always enjoyed the lobster ravioli however a couple weeks ago when we were there she had it and it does taste different. Now I do have sort of an inside track on this because my daughter works there now however she didn't know for sure if any recipes were changed or not. Now don't get me wrong the lobster are we only still tasted great but it wasn't what my wife expected because something was different. She still finished it and was happy. I went with a broiled fish option which was also tasty and the place was as usual clean and appeared to be a very nice atmosphere. This was the last time I was there a couple weeks ago, I also visited on Easter this last April, and that experience wasn't quite as nice. And the only reason I say that is because they had a buffet and there's nothing against the buffet at this restaurant it was done very well and everything was presented beautifully however in my opinion buffets just don't seem to taste as good as when you get a fresh plate from the kitchen. Now coincidentally, my birthday was a couple days ago and this weekend I will be going back here to have dinner with my in-laws and with that being said the possibility does exist I might come back and add to this review. I'm fully expecting it to be another nice dining experience so I might not revisit this perhaps only if something really outstanding or horribly tragic happens. I did give this particular review four stars instead of five five partially because of that lobster ravioli tasting different and partially because I'm not quite yet convinced about the new ownership not affecting the overall quality. We will see how this weekend goes and like I said perhaps revisit this then
