Signature double cheeseburger with sweet potato fries
    Cassie C.

Met up with friends at this new spot and enjoyed ourselves! It wasn't too busy for a Friday night, service was good and the drinks and food were, too. Elevated bar food with a menu including burgers, sandwiches, salads, apps and more. I really enjoyed the smash burger. Sweet potato fries weren't bad and overall good for bar food. I had a nice time and would come back again if in the area looking to watch a game and have some drinks and bites.

They have done a great job lightning up the space. It's still a great place for watching sports. The burgers are solid and the spicy barbecue wings were awesome. Drinks were well priced. McKenna was an amazing server. She was very attentive and kept the us laughing.

This is a decent place to watch a game. Food is alright and drinks were not overly expensive, like many places are these days. There are tons of TVs so you can definitely find a place to sit and watch whatever event/game you want. Overall, I wasn't blown away by the food, the drinks, or the quality of the service, but it is a solid option to watch a big game.

    Wicked awesome pizza!

I love this place! As a Boston native, I'm very particular about my chowder and my pizza. Both are AWESOME here! Great selection of beers and the prices are very reasonable. Everything I've tried on the menu has been extremely good. The only thing better than the food is the service. I'll be back again soon!

Shout-out to the newly renovated Family-friendly sports bar/restaurant on TO Blvd, OAKS LOCAL, (formerly Tilted Kilt). We had a blast watching the Dodgers win again last night -The cocktails are fun & creative, the wine list is a page long, drafts & bottles, and the food is Elevated & Delicious! -Not your standard bar fare of wings & burgers. So many delicious entrees, sandwiches, appetizers, and all at great prices. -Fresh, light bright paint makes a huge difference inside. Bye, Bye Dive Bar, Hello Family Sports Bar! -Great service, too!

Wanted to see if this place still had horse betting . Was a tilted kilt that closed a year ago . It's remodeled . Same bar and horse betting area . Higher prices for beer . But a good place to watch the ponies .

Original hamburger with sweet potato fries and side salad upgrade.

Used to be Tilted Kilt. I had only had to go orders there. Dined in this time and the service was great, new menu had lots I wanted to try and settled on burger, fries and salad. So good. Laid back atmosphere and good bar area with lots of TVs and room for large groups.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

When we asked our server, "What would you recommend?" the response was, verbatim, "Just get anything," followed by a point toward the menu. That pretty much summed up the service experience. That said, the restaurant itself has a lot going for it. The atmosphere is pleasant, the space is thoughtfully designed, and it's clear the owners invested considerable time, money, and care into building the place. You can genuinely see the effort behind the restaurant. And that's what makes the service more disappointing. A restaurant can have a beautiful space and solid food, but hospitality is what turns a transaction into an experience. Basic attentiveness, eye contact, genuine recommendations, and making guests feel welcome shouldn't be asking too much. The restaurant will likely continue to do well because the concept, location, and atmosphere are strong. But if the owners invested the same level of care into the guest experience that they clearly invested into the physical restaurant, it could be significantly better. Tried the food, and not gonna lie, the Dutch Bay is amazing. Definitely a must try! Good restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Hospitality, however, needs work.

The menu is on a small iPad so you can click on a picture a see what the menu item looks like. I liked this feature so I knew exactly what I was ordering. We really enjoyed the short rib with the hummus and pita too. The meat was tender and the combination of the flavors was excellent. Baba's chicken was amazing. It was better than I expected. The flavor of the chicken with the couscous and carrots was great. We would get all of these items again. We ended the meal with the chocolatine dessert. This was one of the best desserts we've ever had. The warm chocolate Crossiant bread pudding with the horchata ice cream on top was perfection. I loved the little detail of the sprinkled honeycomb. As pescatarians, we found the menu somewhat limited. While the food was competently prepared and attractively presented, it did not justify the final bill of $213.77. The meal began with a complimentary amuse-bouche of burrata cream on watermelon tasting which was elegant and flavorful, but small. For starters, we ordered the Hamachi, Salmon Tartare Tacos, and Smoked Trout Toast. Each dish had an interesting concept, but none stood out. The salmon and tartare were ground so finely that they lacked the texture and freshness we expected. For our entrées, we had the Tomato & Burrata and the Sea Bream. The sauce accompanying the burrata was excellent and was the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the sea bream itself was slightly overcooked. We also tried two non-alcoholic drinks: a hibiscus mocktail and a lychee lemonade. Both were pleasant but unremarkable. For dessert, we ordered the peach galette and the chocolate dessert. They were nicely presented but tasted average. The chocolatine contained croissant bits. Given the restaurant's prices, we expected desserts to be better curated and with memorable flavors. Instead, they reminded us of supermarket-quality desserts. Overall, this is a beautiful restaurant with excellent service, but the food did not live up to either the presentation or the price. We'd consider returning for the atmosphere, but not for the value.

I was happy it was still available (9/12) as I heard it's only a seasonal item, so make sure you call before going because it's not on the online menu. The cup seems smaller than expected, and it was kinda pricy but I think the quality and amount of different toppings in this soft serve makes up for it. Some notes to give, I really liked the crispy rice bits on top that elevated every bite, but I wish the mango was in bigger chunks. Overall, really yummy dessert and shareable! On the other hand, service was disappointing. I don't know if it was just the particular worker handling the orders, but for a first impression, it definitely knocked a star down. I waited about 10 minutes for a single ice cream and while it's understandable that there are other orders to fulfill, the takeout desk had several workers waiting around just talking to each other. Another worker that was assisting the front went up to me to ask if my order was only the soft serve, and upon confirmation, she had to go tell the fulfillers to work on it TWICE before they made it. I also asked for no lid and they gave me a lid anyways. It seems like there were several designated order fulfillers there, so there was no valid reason for the long delay. Also if you're ordering takeout, the floor layout is a bit cramped and there wasn't a specific area to wait so it feels awkward to stand around. There's alot of outdoor seating, so I'm assuming you can just wait at the tables until they call your order. Despite the disappointing service, the different menus looked really good so I want to come back to try the mini kebab plate! I'm hoping this experience was just an off-day and doesn't reflect the businesses quality.
