    $22 street tacos.

This is what $22 street tacos look like here. Also, $8 for a side of rice and beans? We used to go here regularly, but won't be back. The food is cooked, but not very good. Good place for chips and drinks. The food is sub-par, and overpriced.

The tortas had no meat just a lot of lettuce and vegetables and the burrito just had beans instead of El Pastor meat for 113 bucks I think it is not worth it

Salud! I don't know why we don't come here more often. It's so close to our neighborhood and we frequent the Von's in. I stopped in for an afternoon break on Sunday and was greeted by immediately by the bartender, Juan. My margarita was made served and tasted refreshing. They even offered me chips and salsa. The salsa tasted great with good amount of heat. The bar is welcoming and outdoor seating on a nice day was very tempting, but I wanted to watch some sports so I remained inside. I highly recommend this place if you are nearby Mission Oaks.

Definitely giving this patron location 4 stars as they know how to party! It was the perfect restaurant to host a celebration as the vibes were good and they make pretty stellar cocktails and shots. The food is average as is the ambiance but I can appreciate good service and a fun place to come for happy hour or a friend's night out. Decided to bring a group of 12 for an early birthday celebration for myself. I wanted a place that was central to some other spots we'd be visiting, with a good cocktail menu, and food that could appease everyone in the group. I called the day before and made a reservation with the gentlemen on the phone who noted it wouldn't be a problem and that they would be prepared for us. The reason I docked a star as when we arrived they in fact hadn't prepped or held a table for us and the gentleman at the front rushed back to let them know they would have a party for 12. Naturally I was a little disappointed as I had called and tried to be proactive, especially knowing that's a big group for a small restaurant. The good news is they immediately got a table together for us and we waited no more than a few minutes. I just note this exchange because imagine if they had been really busy and didn't have a table? It would have ruined the birthday dinner so that was a little concerning. I was totally chill and happy it all worked out but seems risky when you want to ensure you can be accommodated for a large group. After this though the night was perfection! This was a really fun spot to eat and drink to celebrate with some friends. They noted being short staffed but honestly we couldn't tell. They worked really hard to accommodate our table and keep drinks flowing. The food was actually well paced and all twelve people's dishes came out at the same time, that's pretty impressive I'll say. Everyone was nice that worked here and they made me feel special. Loved the complimentary birthday shot and that they sang me happy birthday. Nice people and a good vibe. The cocktails and drinks were 5/5 stars! Everyone loved their margaritas and they tasted really good. They also make Mexican candy shots and those were fabulous as well, my table had fun partaking in drinking those. The food was a solid 4/5. It's no frills Mexican food but everything was prepared well and tasty. I asked the group and they all agreed the food is good, just more a casual 4/5 good, not a place your running back to because the food is out of this world but for a large group the food totally hit the spot. I had the shrimp taco and it was okay, good flavor on the shrimp but lots of lettuce and needed more of a sauce. They forgot to bring out my soup so I can't rate that. The fajitas and enchiladas plates seemed to be the most popular of the night and they looked good. All in all we were provided a hospitable and fun time here, would love to come back for some drinks and appetizers by the bar.

service was prompt, and good enough...... but the food was far from good. I may have also made bad choices from the menu. I had a carnitas plate and a pastor taco. This seems like it would be a nice place for drinks and a game.

I've been here a few times now and have been satisfied with my experience every time. Once you get seated at your table and place your order , the next best thing gets placed on your table . Chips and salsa ! So addicting and not easy to stop stuffing your face with. Their chips are always fresh and hot and served with their oh so delicious of a salsa . I ordered: Chicken Mole Enchiladas Patron Chicken Burrito Traditional Margaritas

I figured we would get something that I could tolerate and it would be okay - generic dining. I did not expect to actually have something to write about. But I was wrong. The grilled chicken they serve with the Chaufa is very nicely seasoned. It is bits of breast meat, grilled with a little char and adds depth to the otherwise mild flavor of the rice dish. My husband had Chaufa with shrimp, which I didn't sample but he ate the entire meal without complaint. We ordered the pork belly bites to start. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I enjoyed this appetizer so much that I know I will order it again. If I have the chaufa again, I would definitely have it with the pork belly. I ordered the lemonade and was puckering in a good way. Honestly, it tasted more like limeade than lemon. I was happy it wasn't too sweet because I could really enjoy the refreshing citrus flavors. I would go there just for a lemonade. They serve it icy cold in mug style, mason jar glass. Our friend ordered the iced tea and when it arrived. I was pleasantly surprised by the look of the fresh fruit in the clear glass, frosted over from the cold and ice. So nice. He said the herbs and fruit were a good combination. The wife of the owner waited on us. She is understated, friendly and efficient. We didn't have much of a wait as it looked as though we might have just missed the breakfast/brunch rush. I was impressed with how quickly we received our food. If we hadn't just eaten there a couple days ago, I would have gone to Azafran for dinner tonight. I look forward to making it a favorite local place where I can introduce our visitors to a good neighborhood restaurant.

During our visit, there were two large group gatherings (with kids) happening at the same time. The interior is spacious but can get noisy due to the hard surfaces. However, when the weather cooperates, there are outdoor patios available in both the front and back. Although the color palette of the interior décor is dark, the space feels clean and comfortable. There's a variety of seating options--booths, tables, high-tops, and communal tables. I'm sure the pastries on the menu came from a third-party vendor, but they were really good. (Edit to follow.) * The business owner informs me that the pastries are actually made in house! They are very good--so save room for dessert. * Our server Julie was a great hostess.
