    Transmission line leakage on driveway.
    Richard S.

So I don't do this much but man was it a mistake to bring my truck to this place. Only had check engine light on. First call was around 6k in repairs without even the check engine light issue looked into. By the next day another 1300 in repairs for a sensors which I got done on-top of leaking transmission line. But when I picked up my truck my battery was completely dead and they were like it arrived like that. The transmission line installed was loose and leaked all over my drive way and garage. Also switch to adjust driver back to my back seat was broken. With the front desk guy saying it was not us it was like that already which it's out of there hands because nobody fessed up and said the actually broke it. Well I've had my truck since 2008. It is old but me and the wife drive her everyday and would have known if it was broken right?Looking at the switch further when I got home they must have broke it and popped in back on upside down. No other way can this part be put in other wise. So if you want to get ripped off and leave with more repairs than you came with Come to this wonderful place good luck and beware of the work they do on your vehicle. I will never bring my vehicle back to this place.

you can see the smoke coming out both of my exhaust tips.

my car has been having egr and vacuum like issues. I brought it to oasis with the car burning to much fuel. not only did I have to wait almost a month with 0 updates on my vehicle, every time I did call they asked for more time and didn't inform me on any progress or what was even happening with my car. I then got an extra $300 charge to remove an exhaust stud which again no one even spoke to me about. When I came to get my car Manny then informed me how they didn't have to drop my transmission the way that the book said they had too. so I now know they overcharged me based on what their "book" said and they didn't even go by the book to work on my car. I also was told by manny and his 2 other 18 year old employees who were laughing during this whole process, that my car is missing vacuum lines and that it has the same issues it had coming in. so i'm wondering what I even paid for, i'm wondering why my exhaust is shooting out black smoke, i'm also wondering why I don't have my stock map sensor when I asked you guys to install the new one and if it started blowing black smoke to put the oem map sensor in and they didn't even give it back to me. so i'm not stuck with a car that I can't emissions or register and is burning oil and gas. and they are okay with their clients leaving like this. beyond this I will forever be amazed that both my grandpas jack paulk and john buscaglio have known tony and manny for years. with these two people in management being close with my family since they were younger and started . this is how they treat "family friends". the amount of respect and hospitality my grandparents have shown to both these people while they grew up to while they grew as a mechanic and brought them an un countable amount of services and they treat their customers this way. this is not okay.

    My sons new car

Had an amazing experience here. I'm in town for a few days to buy my son a car, and we had some really bad experiences with used cars. We were able to get an appointment to bring a car in we planned to buy him n short notice after dozens of places wouldn't even return a call. Rusty the manager was beyond helpful, they did an inspection on the car, and unfortunately advised us of some big problems. After the seller left Rusty was sure to tell us he really thought we could do better, abs even offered to inspect the next car at no charge. We later found out the seller was hiding the salvaged title, and the problems Osasis uncovered were totally accurate. We found another car, and true to his word, Rusty got the car in with almost no notice and made time for us. Luckily this car passed Rusty's blessing. The car needs a few minor things that we will be having his shop complete now that we've bought the car. As a mom, from out of state, just trying to get her 18 year old son a safe car, and not having anyone I trust here, Rusty really helped us make a smart choice that saved us thousands of dollars. They were fast, really affordable, and super friendly. We will be back tomorrow for our third day in a row having my sons new to him car repairs done. I'm so thankful to have found this store, and Rusty really helped us more than I can ever thank him for. I highly recommend this shop!

I originally chose Christian Brothers on McQueen and Guadalupe because they appeared organized,…read moredetail-oriented, and professional. I purchased four tires for my Ford Transit work van and trusted their recommendation, assuming they were providing the correct tires for the vehicle. Less than a year later, one of the tires began splitting. I took the van to another shop that was closer because I did not feel safe driving all the way back to their shop. It was at the new shop where I was informed that the tires installed on my van were not properly rated to handle the weight of the vehicle and should not have been installed in the first place. I contacted Christian Brothers to explain the situation and was told I would need to drive the van back to their shop -- despite the damaged tire -- for them to determine whether anything would be covered under warranty. While I was getting the quote elsewhere to replace all four tires, Christian Brothers called back and offered a slightly lower price if I purchased another full set through them. In the end, the difference was only about $100 compared to the other shop. A shop I had never even used before, and that was the cost with no additional warranties or discounts (like Christian Brothers was claiming to be giving me). They stated they were giving me tires at cost and not charging for labor, not true. They tried to make it seem like they were doing me some huge favor by giving me such a small discount. Their front desk employee, Eric was as "helpful" as he could be throughout the process, but overall should have pushed harder with his upper management to resolve this. They should have completely comped the price of the old tires as this was their, dangerous mistake. Now they're not only making money off of me but also causing me to lose additional money by missing work to fix a problem they caused. I'm extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled, especially considering the original tires that they chose were improper for a work van like mine. All of this resulted in me needing to purchase two sets of tires within a single year!!! I expressed to them that being without my van would result in loss of money as it is my work vehicle. They had no concern for my time, money and no sense of urgency to resolve the situation that they caused. I had to leave my vehicle with them for more than a day the first time and again overnight the second time. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!

To be honest, I was expecting the oil change to be $50 as I see flyers for around that price - but I rolled out of there with a $111 bill and a bit of shock. And that was with a coupon. Just for comparison last time I was at dealership I paid $154 for oil, filter, wipers, cabin filter, engine filter. When I got there 1 bay was available so I was guided in. The guy guiding me in was not the best and was obviously frustrated with me. I'll be that guy - I blame him. Throughout my life I've pulled campers and trailers and drove big vehicles in and out of the military. I am very good at maneuvering vehicles - but if you spotter doesn't know wtf they are doing and are giving bad/wrong hand-signals then you're going to be driving afoul. The bad part is that if they guide you wrong enough you'll drive into the pit. So either learn how to properly guide or offer to drive the car into the stall for the customer. Once you're in the stall they ask you what you want. At least for me, and maybe I'm going deaf, I could not properly hear what they were asking/selling. I had to have them repeat nearly everything. It may be beneficial for them to get the screen up close and talk to you more personally than to stand 5-10ft away and ask what services you want. As for the service itself, it was pretty good. It was a flurry of young folk flying around the car doing various tasks. Lots of calling when tasks are done and kind of felt like I was in a F1 pit stop. You sit in the car and wait, so no waiting room for you to chill in. The total time in the stall was maybe 15mins? Overall, service was good but... I'm going to be looking for someplace that maybe isn't as expensive. And who knows, I may be shocked that everywhere is this price.
