I don't think Einstein is as bad as some reviews indicate. So far, my experience has been great! and I really love the bagel sandwiches! I had the Chorizo burrito. It has Chorizo, eggs, bacon cheese, hash browns and more. it was very good and filling. I also usually have their lunch bagel sandwiches, which are my favorites. I always order the Ham and Swiss with lettuce, tomato and onion. I also usually order the turkey and cheddar. My wife loves them! This restaurant is very spacious and welcoming. The staff has always been friendly and always says "have a great day" as we left. Not bad. Oh yeah, they have a great assortment of bagels as well. read more

Some bagel tops and edges were burned by toasting. Did not discover until the order was unwrapped at home. This was the last breakfeast we shared with my mother-in-law before our holiday visit ended and we returned home It was embarrassing to her that her neighborhood Einstein Bagel store was too inept to catch this oversight before it was wrapped and bagged. We felt bad because she felt bad. I get Sunday mornings are probably their busiest time of week. But in a business like that it's all hands on deck time. This location never has a full assortment of bagels.. they continuously run out. Bagels are over baked, if not toasted they taste stale. Every single time the cashier made mistakes on the order and usually overcharges. The staff are teens and inexperienced.. pleasant people but NOT trained... This was one of the worst experiences I have had at Einstein bagels. It took almost 40 mins to get 4 bagels after ordering, then 3 of the 4 came out wrong. This was not a complicated order at all. One bagel was missing entirely. I returned food and asked for a refund, manager could have seemed to care less that they completely screwed up 75% of the order after we wasted 40 mins of our Sunday. Updated received a credit for my purchase. Willing to give this location another try Came in today and bought half a dozen bagels all 4 of my Asiago and 6 cheese bagels were burnt.., that's was not what was displayed so they decided to give me the burnt bagels stuffed behind the non burnt bagels. Went here this afternoon at 1:30. A young man behind the counter was busy filling orders. Two young ladies stood down by the cash register chatting, and having a merry old time another stood in the doorway between the kitchen and the front part of the restaurant. We checked out the bagels in the case and stood where we normally do to order for several minutes. The three ladies continued chatting and laughing and having a good old time. Finally, my sister went down and got their attention and the girls response was "oh, do you want to buy you want to order bagels?" this whole time the gentleman behind the counter continued working, visually on orders. Got our bagels and cream cheese got home to put them away and they are so sliced so unevenly. The bottom part wasn't even an eighth of an inch thick. Some of the bagels weren't even sliced all the way through. I don't know what happened there. Anyway, very poor customer service nothing like we've ever experienced at this Einstein bagels in all the years we have been patrons. read more

Sorry to say it, but this place is just a total bummer. If you've grown accustomed to what should otherwise be a delicious breakfast/brunch from this franchise, you might as well order or drive to the next nearest location. The one in Surprise is top-notch. Everything from this location is half-assed, and it's exhausting even giving this place my money or visits anymore. Minimum effort every time. I get it. Good help is hard to find. Cannabis is legal and you can't drug test anymore, so everyone's just half awake and barely aware that they're actually performing a job and producing a product anymore. Yawn, zombie walk through your day, check your phone in between orders. I'll bet the manager wants to walk into incoming traffic just to be away from the people who work here and the epic lack of actual work and detail that goes into the food. It sucks because when it boils down to it the product, when done right, is literally the best food you can devour in the morning hours. This spot drops the ball. Every. Frigging. Time. I've always been a fan of Einstein's and this location is a good one. We always get super fast service even if they are busy and the bagels taste nice and fresh. I personally really like their everything bagels and spinach florentine bagels best. Be sure to go earlier in the day for the best selection as they do run out of bagels as it gets later. I usually get a bagel with egg and cheese or schmear (cream cheese), but they have all types of deli meat and breakfast meat options as well. read more

This place is the safe go-to when it comes to bagels. Ever since my wife and I travelled to New York several years back, where Absolute Bagels was our breakfast every morning (line-out-the-door good), now it has become tradition to eat bagels for breakfast every time we travel anywhere. Here in Phoenix, I had always ordered at Einstein bagels but made the unfortunate decision one day to try another bagel place that advertises themselves as authentic New York bagels. Other than the New York attitude ( I joke because New Yorkers are very nice in my experience) the place was just so-so. Therefore, Einstein bagels are probably the safest bet if you want good bagels. Although their spreads are not fresh-made as you would find in other authentic bagel stores, they still fit the bill. Get the Bakers Dozen (13 bagels and two tubs of Shmear) as this is the best value in terms of price per quantity. At this location, service is usually pretty decent but I wouldn't say it's the best. They don't go out of their way to make you feel welcome, but they don't make you feel unwelcome either. read more

Service was slow. I ordered 35 minutes ahead and my food wasn't ready . I stayed waiting an extra 15 minutes, it is more than likely that they make it once your arrival time comes up. I have been here numerous times and have never had an issue. I use the app mostly for pick up ordering on my way to work. I like how everything is ready on the pick up table when I swing by. All the bagels have been fresh, nice and soft. My favorites are plain and the everything bagels. I do find by the second day, they are harder but if you toast it, its not too bad. I also have had their bagel pizza, its my favorite! Their blackberry lemonade is the best! I order the bigger jug to last me the week for work. I have only been in once or twice and ordered in the line and during those times, staff seemed friendly enough. Ordered the farmhouse and half the ingredients were missing and made it a meal and they neglected to provide the items on the make it a meal. Another customer ordered a blended drink and got a regular coffee. When something was said, all the person did was stir the drink....still completely wrong. This place has just been rough for awhile now. It seems like it gets worse and worse. I come every Saturday morning before I go to work. Last few weeks they are always out of coffee or down to 1 or 2 flavors only. There is always a line and they don't seem to be short staffed. They prioritize web/mobile orders. They take a long time for simple order (I order a farmhouse bagel and a coffee, same thing every week). I'm guessing this is because of the high volume of mobile orders. If that's your new model, just change it to mobile only. So here is how it went today... Arrived around 7am, big sign on door said cash only. System is down. Annoyed but I get it, system is down what can they do. I leave and go find a ATM so I can get cash. I come back and notice 3 total people working. None of them are even acknowledging the line that is now starting to build behind me. When I got here, there was only 1 person in line ahead of me and 1 coue waiting for their food, it was not busy. Finally someone helps us and the lady ahead of me asked if they were short staffed, guys said nope just bad scheduling. I finally get my order done, and notice the lady ahead of me pays with card. Turns out that sign was left up from the day prior! Wasted my time. Fine, whatever I'm already here. Now I have to eat quickly to make it to work on time. Get to the coffee bar, they had not even put out the creamers, so had to use it from the carton. No big deal, but just another example of how this place runs. I have been trying to not get overly annoyed as every week it's been something to delay, bad service, lack of product, etc etc. This has been going on for months. This will be my last visit here.
