This was such a wonderful spa experience. I got to go on a day when it was super chilly outside. My masseuse, Inna, had a personal heater waiting for me in the massage area. I had a massage and body scrub with her and then used the sauna/shower. They actually sent someone out to get me Starbucks (I didn't ask) and it was so sweet! I had Gagan for a facial and some eye/lip treatments and she was super kind and not pushy with her products at all. Overall for what you pay for this spa it's a really nice experience. I love that the private sauna and shower are private in one space--it's nice to be able to turn the cool water on for a minute when the sauna is getting too hot. For the price you pay it's such a great value with super sweet people. I'm not really bothered by small details or the fact that it's in an office space--the people are kind and the place is clean. I would have been really hesitant to come here with the review history, but my husband booked this as a gift. I just got an AMAZING ultimate body massage from Fenny today. I've had chronic shoulder pain for two years and just got back from vacation, which exacerbated the pain and caused pain and stiffness in my neck. Had gotten a Spa Day gift certificate through T-Mobile and found them on the site. I had booked a sports massage, but noted that I was debating between that and the Shiatsu & Asian Body Work. After consulting with Fenny, I decided on the ultimate, where she combined the two and added hot stones and oils. The massage was firm and thorough and I left feeling very relaxed with very little pain remaining! Halfway through, I was sure I'd still need to see a chiropractor to address my neck pain, but after I flipped over and she stretched it and worked it with the hot stones, I was proven wrong! I didn't find the office building location off-putting like others have noted, but I also care most about the service itself, which delivered. The inside of the spa was clean and calming, so that was a check for me! I plan on starting PT soon and will likely come back to see Fenny once per month to supplement and really loosen up my muscles. read more

I'm a little disappointed that I was not offered water. Anytime I get a massage, afterwards I'm offered a glass of water. Not here and I left dehydrated. Other than that I have to say I was pleased with the massage. I will have to ask for the Deep pressure next time. I could have used some more pressure in my massage. read more

I received the worst massage of my life here. I asked for a sports massage and, what I received, the technician insisted was a sports massage, although I have received sports massages before at other places and have never experiences anything like this. Early on, she decided it was "too intense" for me and switched techniques, though that didn't help much. At one point, I was convinced she was going to break my sternum. At another, she went under my underwear to finish a muscle, something I've never experienced and that made me very uncomfortable. My wife & I decided on a couples massage here. After we requested a deep tissue, and addressed the knots we needed worked out, they proceeded to give us a firm full body rub. I thought that they had a process so I allowed the massage to continue, and then it was over. $250 later & a trip to Columbia & we both still feel like we need massages. read more

This spa is in a good location and the atmosphere was not loud when I was there unlike what some other reviews said. My best guess is that many of the reviews are for the old Oasis Day Spa location. The price I paid for a massage was reasonable and I would definitely go back next time I have an extra stressful week! The masseuse was very skilled and gave a pleasant massage. The service was quick and after arriving my massage quickly began. The spa was clean and didn't have any overpowering perfumes or other smells that often bother me other spas. I ordered the Spring Rejuvenation Package for $300 (04/15/16) which seemed like a good deal for 4.5 hours of spa services and lunch. I swapped out the mani/pedi for the reflexology which they noted would be the same price. I will have to give this place 3 stars but they have the potential to get better. First, I was expecting a more lavish and plush environment. Instead, Oasis is located in an office building. In their defense though, they had a fire in their other location so I'm guessing that moved here (hopefully temporarily). When I arrived they started with the facial and then informed me that I should upgrade to the vitamin C facial for an additional $45. I was okay with that. The facial was fine but the aesthetician frequently left the room. Next was "lunch" which consisted of a chicken wrap with water. I guess that was my fault for expecting more. I ate the "lunch" in one of the massage rooms, again I was expecting more. After "lunch", I had my 90 minute body massage, which was AMAZING!!! They used warmed oils along with hot stones which I enjoyed. The reflexology portion of the massage was great as well. Overall, I would return to this spa. read more

Bottom line: prices and location aren't worth it. The original location burned down, so I rebooked my appointment at this new location. There were piano lessons going on upstairs, which you can hear through the walls. They turned up the "spa music" to try to cover up the kids banging on the pianos, but it just made the room really loud and unpleasant. read more

We've had two couples massages here - one in 2018 and one in 2021. Massages are a rare treat for us and we've really enjoyed both of our experiences. The spa is clean and comfortable, and both my husband and I enjoyed our massages a lot - left us feeling so relaxed! Prices are very reasonable. I also really appreciate how easy it is to book a couples massage here - so many other places don't readily have a room available and Oasis Day Spa has always been so accommodating! Very weird spa location in an old two story office brick building. It looked like there were doctors office in that building also. Ceiling tiles were broken and or not sitting in the frames right. Bathroom was located outside of the suite down another hallway and I had to wear my robe to get there around other people walking in halls. It had to be opened with a key by the staff. Not a big deal as I was dressed in a robe but should have a bathroom in the suite. Facial was rushed feeling even though it was an hour. Never had a facial before that felt hurried, all the movements were too quick and not relaxing. Wax spilling over and just didn't look like a very clean environment. Hot stone massage/reflexology/scalp treatment: hot stones were great! Massage therapist seemed new or she just didn't care about giving the massage. Draping was quick, massage was irratic and not symmetrical. Not relaxing at all. Jumped from one body part to another that made no sense. Rough handling of arms and legs when moving them in and out of covers. Talked loudly. I have never had reflexology before but it that couldn't be what it is supposed to feel like. Random light touching on the feet. No hard pressure points. Therapist long braids touched me when she was massaging, here hair should of been pulled up and should not touch the client. A friend of mine had the same spa package with me and had a great massage therapist she said that did great reflexology. My fiancé and I had received a $100 gift certificate to Oasis and finally used it last week. It covered over half of an hour long couples massage, which came in at $175 (plus tax). I was a little bit apprehensive when I finally made my way to the spa. It's literally in an office park, and I think it's next to a doctor's office. It seems like an awfully odd place for a spa. The lobby is nice and clean, but not overtly relaxing (it looks like the waiting room of a spa that would be located in an office park). It was all pretty confusing. We walked back to get changed into our robes and sandals. They have probably 10-15 different massage rooms, but I'm pretty sure we were the only people there. I don't know if they get busier at other times or what, because they have a LOT of space. The couples massage room was nice, though maybe a little bit cheesy. It looks like a room in a doctor's office decorated to be relaxing and soothing (lots of red velvet). But when the massage began I left all apprehension aside. The massage was totally on par with some of the massages I've received at higher end places. They were thorough and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The pressure level was perfect for me and I felt totally, 100% relaxed by the end of our session. The only negative thing about the massage itself is that they use some type of lotion or oil (love) but it leaves your feet feeling greasy (hate). It made it a little complicated walking out in sandals with the bottom of my feet feeling so slick. Kind of weird, but worth it for the awesome massage. This place is a classic case of don't judge a book by its cover. I was expecting something like a Red Door Spa and found myself in an office park. But that massage was great and well worth it! Don't let the location or cheesy décor sway you - I would recommend checking this spa out. read more

I was really in need of a massage, and was looking for a place who could get me an appointment on short notice, so I was happy to see that Oasis had pretty good reviews. I found the reception area to be cramped, but clean. The big leather couches take up all of the space! The receptionist greeted me promptly and was nice. I was seen on time. The massage therapist I had (Fenny) made sure she understood where my problem areas were. I was really surprised by her technique. I have had A LOT of professional massages before, but NEVER one like this. She did do a good job of addressing the knots in my back, but I found it odd the way she grazed over my rear end. I mean, I have had my glutes massaged before, but never with open hands! I was also taken back by how far up my thigh the massaging went. I mean she went about an inch away from my lady parts. Never had that before. When I rolled over onto my back, she did a great job on my neck. The massage over my chest again went a little too close for comfort. She went down in between my breasts, and even put her hand on my belly! Never had that before either. I want to say that I find a good massage to be like a club DJ who does amazing beats and beat matching, good rhythm and you don't feel the stop of one area and the beginning of another. Fenny, I'm sorry to say that you were like an inexperienced DJ, pressing stop on one CD then start on another. The therapists hands should not come away from the body! I guess you get what you pay for, and this was a budget priced massage at $70, but I would expect more from a spa in Columbia. I will be going back to the Pearl in Fulton. We went to this spa for Valentine's Day. We purchased the Royal Spa treatment. When we arrived, we walked in and immediately I noticed the dark paint, dark furniture and not the usual spa feel or smell. There were two chairs and a small table in the entrance of the spa. We sat for about 20 minutes before being offered a drink or the strawberries and chocolate that came with our package. The plate had two unripened berries cut into pieces, two wrapped chocolates, a few crackers and one tiny piece of wrapped Brie. We were given a box of Kleenex for napkins. We ate our food while other customers arrived... not relaxing or comfortable at all. We had to use the bathroom down the hallway of the office building before our massages. We entered a very small room with a coat hook on the door to put all of our clothes! We had a couples massage. Hardly enough room for us to move! The sheets and blankets were brown flannel! The masseuse did a fairly good job with the actual massage but no smells or aromatherapy at all. We finished up and found a plastic cup at the check out counter for us to chug down while others waited behind us to check in! The lady at the counter wanted to know how much Gratuity to add on the bill??? I was shocked actually. Isn't that up to me to put on when I'm signing the receipt. We had to announce it while chugging the small cup of water and while people behind us stood at our backs! We paid $300 for this and it was definitely not worth it. We ended up having to sit in the office building chairs to gather ourselves before leaving. Don't waste your money! There are so many other options in Columbia and the surrounding areas! read more

I went to Oasis Day Spa for waxing services and have been letting people know to NOT go there. The esthetician let go of the strip so many times, tugging on my hairs creating more pain than I normally feel. I have a very high pain tolerance and nearly teared up during my 20 minute session. It was so uncomfortable that I just wanted to get out of there and didn't bother to double check for thoroughness. When I got home, I noticed that there were many patches of hair on the other side of my leg (farthest away from her as she leaned over my legs to wax instead of walking around the table to finish the job). It was a bit cheaper than the place I used to go to before I moved; however, you get what you pay for. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I had been looking for a new place for facials & decided to give this place a try since it was fairly close to home. I ended purchasing two facials over the phone (one for myself & the other for my mother-in-law). They required that I place a deposit of 1/2 to reserve my appointment. I thought that was a bit strange, but I went ahead with it. We both had our facials on the same day & it was just ok for me. Nothing spectacular about the visit. It seemed to be that the lady who did my facial was trying to sell me on products the whole time. At the end of the appointment, I paid my balance; however I overpaid by about $60 since they FORGOT I had made a deposit. I requested that they just void the previous transaction & run it again, but the front desk woman said that they don't give refunds. I was SO upset. She had to ask her boss who was not there. When she finally got a hold of her, her boss (the owner) instructed her NOT to give a refund and that she would contact me directly to deal with the matter. When I spoke with the owner, she wanted to refund my credit card that amount, but required that I write her a letter stating that I would not pursue her for other monies. Strange. Maybe she's been through this before. I don't know. Anyways, I faxed it over to her and have yet to receive a credit on my credit card. To this day, this matter has not been resolved. All in all, the facial itself was ok, but I would never go back to this place b/c of the way I was treated. This issue could have been resolved that day, instead of drawing this issue out 3-4 mths later. Insane. read more

Spa? Perhaps. Oasis? I think not. This place screams mediocre and overpriced. My friend and I visited Oasis Day Spa for the whole kit-n-kaboodle. 90 minute massage, full facial, eye treatment, scalp treatment (which we're still not convinced we got), lunch, manicure and pedicure . Before I get started on my tantrum. let me say that the massage and the facial were wonderful and the ladies that gave them were a delight - and this places saving grace. The first thing I thought when I walked in was, INTERIOR DECORATOR STAT! The lobby was small, dingy and packed with all kinds of items they were trying to sell. It felt very "strip mall nail salon". The rooms are extremely small and also need an updated look. Nothing quite felt like it belonged and was placed there as an after thought. Not to mention the walls are paper thin. My girlfriend said she could hear most of my conversation with the esthetician. They could also use some better 'tranquility' music. I'm relaxing, not trying to be induced into a coma. Speaking of tranquility....after our massage and facials, we were taken to the Tranquility Room for lunch. AKA, a walk in closet with more cheesy furniture and decor. Our lunch was served to us in the plastic salad containers that they were purchased in from the deli across the street, I suppose. Very disappointing. We were disturbed at least twice during lunch by the nail techs who clearly wanted to get us out of the way and get home. The pedicures were nice and enjoyable. The nail techs were not what I expected and could benefit from a more refined look. (think beauty school dropouts). I fought off my urge to yearn for my typical Asian nail techs- lest I be accused of stereo typing. But alas, i was right. The manicures were a disaster! My girlfriends tech even said "I'm not that good at this. why don't i try one finger and you decide if you want to continue". WOW!! I feel my nail tech was trying her best but she just did not have the skill and precission needed. To boot, our manicures must have taken over an hour. The girls were very sweet and pleasant but as I mentioned, not what I expect from a Day Spa. My girlfriend and I had a great time and enjoyed being pampered for the day but I have been to much better day spas. My experience here was...disconnected. I expected more from a Day Spa in Columbia. This place needs a serious overhaul to be considered any kind of oasis. Bottom line, this place does have a few good services and you can pop in for a quick massage or facial and pleasant conversation. But, if you are looking for Spa atmosphere and the feeling of being in lap of luxury, this is not the place. read more

I want this place to be great. Right now, it's just ok. There are a lot of little touches that keep the grand divide between ok and great. Pros: 1. Scheduling was very easy. 2. I received a massage. Cons: 1. I was offered the "steam" room - let's be clear, this is a shower. A shower with a steam capability, but a shower nonetheless. This service starts at $35, but is $25 if you have a massage. I opted in. I suggest you opt out. It's 100% not worth it and a bit of false advertising. 2. The massage table sheets were very dingy. If you are going to have white sheets or even off white sheets, let's make sure there aren't giant oil stains and/or the sheets are bleached. It just didn't give off a great vibe. 3. Laying face up, I noticed a large brown/black stain on the ceiling tile... I assume from some kind of leak. Yuck. 4. The the pillow case for the face rest was turned inside out. Mind you, this isn't a complaint, but something I noticed, and probably something I would have never mentioned had other small touches been in place. Just thinking like... does that happen at Robert Andrew? 5. The massage therapist I had was courteous and asked me if the pressure was too light/hard, but when he found places on my back that had "trigger points," he decided to address them as if it were an emergency. I told him from the very beginning that I was there for stress relief and relaxation. Yes, I need massage to address a lot of knots in my back, but when I told him it was really hurting, he should have backed off and did what I asked. He did not, "just a few more moments, you really need this." OKAY. While some areas of my back feel less tension, I now have bruised areas of my back. I'm surprised by the first review, and wonder if the spa was experiencing teething problems since Oasis is relatively new on the scene. I have waxing done by the owner (wonderful, pain free), and massages done by Ina (simply The BEST). I love the fact that the front desk is professional and helpful (unlike every other spa in the area with their teenager receptionists who seem to enjoy putting you on hold, chewing gum in your ear and telling you there are no appointments, yes Lynn's, I am talking about you here). I came for a wax. The wax was rushed and not thorough. I asked the aesthetician to touch up some of the spots that had been missed, which she did - again, not thoroughly. I asked to go over the larger areas that she's missed and was told, "I'll do it for you today but I think you should find another spa. I can't do this to your satisfaction." I ended up asking for the tweezers to pluck hair that she said was "under the skin". After I removed the hair myself, she said, "Good." read more

Very unprofessional spa! Never never go to this place! Very dirty rooms with used towels and blanks on the floor in the facial room. They didn't book enough staff for my mother, sister and I birthday spa day and the owner didn't take any responsibility for poor planning and then blames it on the techs for not showing up to work. The spa knew well in advance they were going to be under staffed and did nothing to fix that. This is the second time this has happened to us there! The owner was extremely rude and was not willing to comp services. Way over priced for a very dirty and low class spa! I have to leave a star to post but this is not worth 1 star! read more

I've been to this place before and received reasonably good care. I have gotten a massage, facial, and pedicure. I called for a prenatal massage, which they offer on their site. They politely told me I need a doctor's note. I understand the desire to CYOA in this society, but if you are clearly going to offer a prenatal massage on your site... you could also clearly state that you need a doctor's note to get it. It's a service clearly for pregnant women... if you are nervous about massaging pregnant women, then why are you offering massages for pregnant women? read more

Had to wait about 20 minutes between the manicure and pedicure even though no one was currently getting a pedicure, and then was quickly kicked out of my seat because "other customers were waiting". Nail filing was very rough, to the point of being uncomfortable. Nail polish was sloppily done, I had to remove quite a bit of excess from around my nails. AWESOME manicure and pedicure, I had the deluxe which includes a mask and additional exfoiliation (LOVED the mask on my legs and feet) Did NOT enjoy my massage, not sure what her name was but she's the only therapist there that does prenatal massages so...?! According to a close massage therapist friend of mine, ALL certified massage therapist are trained to do prenatal massage so that may give you some insight as to what kind of business this is. The towels and robe were smelly (like "left in the washer too long before being dried" smelly). Disorganized! I called, scheduled an appointment, AND paid for it only to be contacted several days before my spa day and told I would not be able to receive the services bc I am pregnant! UM when booking the appoint ment I told her I'd need a prenatal massage.. but on to the next complaint: THE FACIAL! Poor poor work! The girl massaged my face for 30 min of the 60 min facial, left the room for 15 min and well there was not much involved. Didn't like it at all! My husband and I received a couples massage from our daughter, the therapist didn't start on time, one seemed inexperienced and all over the place. During the massage one of the girls phone went off! They didn't even give my husband shoes that fit him. This $250 package was supposed to included a snack and Shirley temples... It was a few crackers and one baby bel cheese. I had made an appointment for a spray tan in advance for a vacation that I was going on, the spa called and cancelled on me without offering another person to do the spray tan or to re-schedule at later time. I was unable to get the spray tan before my vacation since it was so last minute. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend this place. I understand that people do get sick but at least have a fill in or offer the services at a later time to accommodate the clients needs. Luckily I'm not getting married because if they had called and canceled prior to my wedding I would be even more pissed off! I finally made it over to this place, I asked for a Deep Tissue Massage and Deep is exactly what I got, some people do not like deep massages but for me, they hurt so good. I was very skeptical at first because my massage was with the owner a very small lady, but she was able to do a good deep tissue massage. Therefore on the massage I was very happy. The room was nice, small and what you would expect, but it was too close to the entrance door. I could hear the conversations of the staff at the front desk, and since the floors are wood I could hear everyone's footsteps. The same was for the massage room, the therapist wore hard bottom shoes and when she would walk around the table I could hear her footsteps. In all I will be coming back for a Deep Tissue, requesting the owner, a back room, and requesting she take her shoes off. read more
