Im a bilateral lower limb amputee using a manual wheelchair. Was given a robe to change into after arriving. locker rooms were big enough for both prosthetic legs aka and bka which I was surprised of. Shower are good but they're not roll in shower. The facility is super clean and shiny. Claire was great. She communicated well and asked where would I like more pressure during the massage. She was very attentive making sure that I was having the best possible experience. I had her for a deep tissue and would recommend her again. read more

The only spa in New York I've ever been to and will visit. Now don't get me wrong I'm sure there's tons of spas out there that will give me a great experience. However, after a relaxing day at the spa, I don't want to walk into traffic and buzzing horns. The location in Dobbs Ferry is perfect. Maybe one day I'll try others. Experience: The receptionists are always pleasant and very friendly. The changing room was clean and neat. Nothing too spectacular. The waiting area was ok, I was honestly too excited about the massage to pay attention to be honest. My first time there was a couples massage with my wife. We then had a manicure and pedicure. Both was just lovely. We had the honey & milk pedicure. The therapist paid attention to the areas we mentioned and applied the right amount of pressure. 2nd time: It was just as lovely. This time I only had the 60min swedish massage. I really liked Laura (wait I think that's her name..it was something with a L). I also wanted a pedicure but the technicians aren't there on a Tuesday. Most recent visit: 11-15-14 This time I went with the 60mins deep tissue massage. My back and body ached after a stressful work week. The therapist was amazing. Her name is Clarie, she really paid attention to my area of need (my back). She went as far as leaving a hot water bag on my back while she worked on other areas. Then after the massage a had the Honey & Milk manicure/pedicure. The technician Alicia was very friendly and did a great job. I can't wait to make my appointment for next month. I was referred to this place by a friend, so I decided to treat my sister out for her birthday. Oasis(Westchester location) was clean, calm and just what you would imagine a spa should look like! The staff were welcoming and friendly. This location had a sun roof and a relaxing room after each sessions. We both did a Swedish massage and Oasis Signature facials. All of our technicians were great but I have to single out Allison. Allison did my facial and it was one of the best facial I have ever had! She was amazing! She took her time and asked me questions and gave me feedback about my face. The next day I receive so many compliments about my face. And I normally do not after facials. I would recommend Oasis to everyone but if you are getting a facial go Allison, you would not regret. read more

I came here yesterday for a facial. I left looking horrible. I've had facials elsewhere and the extractions were done so gently. I can't believe I paid $135 to look horrendous and for cream to be rubbed on my face. I have red marks and dots all over my face that I'm hoping don't scar. I was researching many places for massages then I found Oasis Day Spa. I read great reviews about this place. The day I went I as totally amazed it looked just like the photos on their website! My first time experience was amazing ! When I arrived my temperature was taken and there were hand sanitizer stations. The staff are super friendly and professional. I was asked to fill out a covid 19 form and once I filled it out the staff were going over the covid 19 procedures such as social distancing and temperature taken every time you arrive and washing hands. The massage that I chose was the full body Swedish Massage and I felt wonderful. My therapist was Leland and he did an amazing job. I felt so relaxed and in heaven lol. Over priced and less than average, the massage for my hubby and myself was $270 which is just a little crazy. I am sorry but I do not remember the name of my tech, but her massage was average at best. When I turned over on my back she rubbed my neck with some highly toxic substance, which made me dizzy. She did not inform me of this before hand, I am highly allergic and this stuff what every it is made me dizzy. This place is nice, and I've been here quite a few times because it seems to be the best in the area. Cons: every robe I've seen is ripped, fraying, and generally horrible quality. They need to be replaced. They used to have a pretty good sauna. They've replaced it recently and it takes forever to start. Even when it does start, it's not as strong as it was before. There's an option to add a scent to the sauna, but I didn't smell anything nor was there a thick steam. And frankly they're overpriced with no repeat customer benefits (except for a birthday discount of I believe 20%, but no other benefits or incentives to come again). Also it's not worth paying extra for aromatherapy because you can't smell it (unless they put it directly in your face which they do sometimes, I'm assuming because they know you won't smell it otherwise). Pro: everyone has been pretty nice. It's definitely a relaxing vibe. They have a great waiting room with music and small snacks/refreshments. Interesting specials too. The sauna would have topped this list prior to the "upgrade". Better than other places I've seen in Westchester. All in all, this place is a pretty good occasional treat. It's not really worth the prices, but I don't know anywhere else that has such a relaxing vibe in Westchester. I wouldn't go that often but it's definitely nice when you do go. If they put in a benefit for repeat customers, replaced the decaying robes, fixed the sauna, and relaxed a little on the prices (we aren't in Manhattan, where the prices would be acceptable), it'd be an awesome spot. read more

I have been going to Oasis in Dobbs Ferry for YEARS and have loved it. I recently went for their new scalp/head massage treatment and it was TERRIBLE. The only reason I am bothering to post this on Yelp is because I was asked at the front desk how it went and I told them. Then I was given the manager's email to let her know and I never got a response. I also got an email to rate the service and gave it a terrible review and again I got no response. I am not asking for anything free, just an acknowledgement of my complaint. To not even bother getting back to me is the epitome of bad customer service. Horrible experience! Do not go!!!! Quality of service definitely not worth the money. Showers did not work - the pressure was extremely low and kept stopping and starting. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Also, the front desk staff were super cold. My therapist, Katie, wasn't thorough at all. The quality of the massage was crap. She just lightly touched my skin, I could barely call it a massage. She didn't check in at all during the massage to see if I was okay with the pressure level/ if I was comfortable. I told her what I wanted, but she barely accommodated me. I walked out with more knots in my back than when I arrived. Also, she didn't give me the full time. She began 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. The manager didn't care to make my experience any better upon complaining. The manager said "you could have left after 15 minutes if you didn't like it." As if I was supposed to know the entire 90 minute massage was going to be awful?!! And who leaves during a massage? This is a disgrace and not the way to be treated. I did complain prior to check out. read more

My boyfriend and I came here on Valentine's Day for a side-by-side couple's massage and the experience totally exceeded our expectations. I have had massages at a few day spas in Westchester but this one felt extra luxurious because of the additional amenities. There is a beautiful reception area with lots of beautifully decorated scented products. When we checked in, we told the receptionist our shoe sizes so they could give us slippers and a robe to change into. I am plus size and it can be a little worrisome going to places like this - I never know if their clothes are going to fit me or if I am going to be treated differently because of my size, but the robe fit perfectly and I felt as welcome and deserving of care as everyone else. They have lockers with codes so you can keep your belongings secure and be worry-free while you enjoy the services. Our masseuses were really wonderful and attentive, and listened to our requests to focus on certain areas and ignore others. They also sprayed this amazing calming aromatic spray in the room which helped me so much to relax. They have nice music playing throughout the entire floor. My only complaint is that the massage was so enjoyable that it went by so fast! After the massage, my boyfriend and I enjoyed the relaxation room where we sat and had tea while listening to the music. I also recommend taking advantage of the steam room to sweat out all your toxins. The massage was an hour but we stayed for an additional hour just to enjoy all the amenities of the spa, which made it well worth the price of the massage. This is a hidden gem in Westchester and I will definitely be back!! read more

My daughter scheduled a Sports Massage. During the massage, she was asked how the pressure was and told the masseuse she would like more. The masseuse told her that in order to get more pressure she would have to upgrade to a Deep Tissue- mid massage?!?!?! I am very disappointed that Oasis Spa used a sales tactic on my daughter. On Saturday 8/21 I called this establishment to book over $1,000 worth of services. The first woman I had on the phone straight out told me NO to my request of a facial, wrap, and massage for myself and two others. She just shut me down and said "sorry we can't accommodate that". Keep in mind we planned on staying the day there so it wasn't like I was asking for all of this all at the same time. We were fairly open on days to accommodate as I understand businesses may be short staffed during this time. I found it a little strange and called back to speak with someone else who said she can certainly schedule me and my party for a day in September (a whole month beforehand), but she would need to call me back. Well as I write this review on 8/25...I never received that call back to schedule and will be taking my business elsewhere. As a business owner I would be horrified if this is how my staff runs daily operations...very unprofessional. read more

This was my first massage since Covid. And my oh my how great it was to be pampered. I felt safe in that they required vaccination cards, temps and masks. My masseur, Leland, was fantastic. The facility is clean and I was happy there to find flavored waters and tea available. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I will admit that the locker rooms and showers can use refreshing. I've been to Oasis Day Spa a handful of times. Overall, I've had pretty average experiences there and nothing outstanding. This past Valentines day I decided to take the day off from work and to treat myself to a day at the spa. I had a couple of oasis gift cards, as well as spa dollar gift cards to spare. My day cost a little over $500. My massage and scalp treatment combo was sub par to say the least. The therapist, although very nice, did not have much technique and it was not very relaxing. I've gotten their scalp treatment before and forgot that the treatment is more hair focused than scalp massage focused. I left severely disappointed after that treatment. My second treatment was a scrub and a wrap combo treatment. My aesthetician was very nice and the treatment was very relaxing. I love that they have the Vichy Showers. The scrub was fantastic but the wrap part got pretty annoying after about 10 minutes. She had me laying there for almost a half hour. Honestly I really don't think you need more than 10-15 minutes in the wrap. The lotion that they use during this treatment smells heavenly and I ended up buying a bottle on my way out, but looking back I can't justify paying $18 for this bottle (the lotion pump is broken too). Needless to say, I won't be making that mistake again. Lastly, I did a procollagen facial. The aesthetician asked me in the beginning what products I use for my face and I told her that I use Noxzema and Neutrogena. She was shocked that I use Noxzema and was also shocked that it still exists. I actually felt like I was being judged because she had a very judgmental tone and attitude about the whole thing. She must have voiced her surprise at least three times, but she finally stopped after I told her that it works for me and I am very happy with Noxzema. After that she got silent and didn't say anything the rest of the treatment... like literally NOTHING. Dead silence. Now I'm not looking to chew the fat with somebody during a facial, but in my past experiences the least she could've done was tell me what she was using on my face and/or give me some brief feedback. I do hate when aestheticians try to push products on you, but I do appreciate at least a little feedback. She gave me nothing. I feel as though since I told her that I use Noxzema on my face, she almost felt like there was no point in telling me anything after that. Almost like I was a lost cause or something and she felt pity towards me. I felt pretty crappy about it. Listen, I have used very high-end skin products on my face in the past and nothing has gotten me the same great results and clear skin as Noxzema. I felt extremely judged by this aesthetician and this experience with her is probably what is going to make me not want to ever go back to Oasis. Moreover, the lady at the front desk who checked me out in the end was a bit condescending. When I went to pay with my multiple gift cards she almost smirked at the amount of gift cards I had (4 in total). I also asked her for change on a $100 bill for gratuities. This all seemed like too much work for her. Lastly, after I gave her a $20 bill (to pay for that $18 bottle of moisturizer) she literally proceeded to give me two dollars worth of nickels and dimes, instead of dollar bills. I almost felt like she did that on purpose because I paid with multiple gift cards and she wanted to be spiteful. I wish I got her name but I was so frustrated and couldn't wait to get out at that point. I really wanted to give this review 2 stars, but I bumped it up one extra star for the Vichy showers. After moving to the area a few years ago, I have been searching for a place to "escape" to for few hours and now I found it. As soon as we arrived, Anashia was welcoming and assisted us right away, a great first impression! My husband and I had a couples 90 min Swedish Massage, Amy was my therapist and she was amazing! One of my treats in life is enjoying spa days, I have had treatments all over the world and I can honestly say Amy gave me one of the best massages of my life. Not too much pressure but not too light either, the perfect balance for me. I haven't been that relaxed in a long time. I don't typically leave reviews, but this was the worst spa experience I've had and hope this might spare other pregnant women the same. First, it took 25 min to book my appointment over the phone. I purchased the "Mom-to-Be" package, which consisted of a scrub, pre-natal massage, and facial. The scrub was fine (though the therapist talked the entire time, which isn't very relaxing). The massage was the worst I've experienced. The therapist didn't seem to know what he was doing and, again, talked the entire time. His bedside manner was very strange. When I asked if I could change positions, he said it was "almost done" but I could purchase a longer massage if I wanted. Lastly, the person doing the facial noted that I was pregnant and asked if there were any products she should avoid (there are a lot). I told her I assumed they knew which ones to avoid since this was a spa package specifically for pregnant women. When I noted that I also couldn't lie flat on my back for an extended period and asked for the table to be raised, she commented that she'd have to stand. I will say that the actual facial was very nice. Disappointing to spend $300 for an experience that ended up being more stressful than it was relaxing. I've been coming to Oasis Day spa for about 3 years now and my most recent services prompted me to write this review. First off the staff from the front desk, up to the management office are so friendly and very hospitable. I love how adamant they are with the Covid safety precautions. Makes me feel safe considering the time we are all living in. I wanted to give a special thank you to Jasmin and Paula . Jasmin is one of the managers and she always goes above and beyond and ensures I make my monthly or scheduled visits based off the Esthetician's recommendation. I have a fluctuating schedule and she's always accommodating and makes it work. Paula is an angel that I will recommend Paula to all my family and friends! I've had 3 facials with Paula and believe me my face has never felt better. It looks brighter, cleaner, and healthier. I love my new face thanks to Paula! She loves what she does and the results show for it! She makes great recommendations based off your skin and always makes you feel comfortable about where you are in the skin care process.
