Booked a massage and facial with a gift card. During my massage... I felt like I was in anatomy class/being seen by a chiropractor. Jim kept talking about the alignment of my spine and the different vertebrae along with a million other medical terms/parts of the body. I came for a deep tissue massage and to relax not for someone to try and realign my spine nor teach me about the different parts of my back/body. There was absolutely no flow to the massage itself. He was all over the place. Unfortunately I am not always one to get up and leave/speak my mind. Was not impressed with my facial after having many previously elsewhere. The facility itself smelt like mildew. The toilet was broken along with multiple lockers. Would not return here, was not impressed. read more

My wife and I went for massages and facials and it made for a very relaxing and tranquil afternoon that had me feeling rejuvenated. I got my facial done first. I will preface this by saying that I've never really had the desire or felt the need to get a facial, but after my first experience I will definitely be looking for time to make for facials semi-regularly. Paula was my aesthetician and was excellent. From the application of the serums and lotions, to the extractions, to the hand massage, it was just a terrific experience that felt great. I could see and feel the difference instantly. Paula was a pro. I then moved on to my 60 minute Swedish massage with Veronica. I'm an ironworker so my back needs all the love it can get, and Veronica definitely worked out the kinks. Her attention to detail was very good and it was definitely one of the best massages I've had. It was my first facial ever, my first professional massage in quite a while, and my first visit to Oasis Day Spa, but certainly not my last. I had the absolute best experience here for my birthday. Like most these days, I'm stressed most days so I've been trying to make self care a priority. As soon as I walked in this place I took a sign of relief and immediately relaxed. First was a deep tissue massage from Toni. Literally life changing!! I hold all my stress in my shoulders. As soon as she touched me she knew I sat at a desk all day and because I'm tall I'm usually hunched over. She stretched me out and worked out knots I didn't realize were even there. She took out so much of the pain I've had in my back and arms. I've slept so much better since then. Already booked an appointment for next month. She is a true masseuse, not just rubbing your body with oil. First massage I ever really enjoyed Then I had a spring renewal facial with microdermabrasion and oxygen with Paula. Once again a fantastic experience! Even her extractions were painless. I left with glowy tight skin. I will be a repeat customer to her as well. AMAZING EXPERIENCE! There is nothing short of what else to say. They give you robes & sandals for free included in your stay. Melissa did my 90 minute massage & she really knows what shes doing. I had inflammation & pain in my lower back & after working with her, its relatively gone. Also, the room was very comfortable & good temperature when youre being massaged butt naked. Ive been to spa facilities where the massage room was ice cold The whole spa is immaculate. Everything is so clean & really nice. The relaxation room has some yummy teas & snacks, water, magazines. The staff is professional & inviting. I didnt have time to use the steam room but it was spotless & I will use it next time. The whole experience was amazing & I will definently be back. Oasis Day Spa in Dobbs is a little slice of heaven. First off, it's super clean and everyone follows amazing safety protocols. The relaxation lounge is really large so it's easy to spread out before your treatment. I get facials with Paula and they are the BEST ever. She is so talented and friendly and my skin always glows when I leave and I feel like a happier, more relaxed person. My husband is a fan of the deep tissue massages. Lovely spa. Calm and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are friendly and do not push products on you, but they offer nice ones. I go for massages regularly and always leave supremely relaxed and happy. Two things I hope they improve on - I wish when I checked in the front desk would welcome me back instead of asking if I had ever been there. The scheduling software should make it easy to see I come 3-4x per year. That would make it just a touch more special and wouldn't cost a thing. The second thing is that the women's locker room needs an update. I recognize COVID hit all businesses hard and I'm sure it's in their long term plans. It's all perfectly clean and functional, just a bit dated. Hoping through giving them the business they deserve they will have the money to make it a bit more modern and luxurious. I had a horrible spray tan here the night before attending a wedding. Hands and feet were black and splotchy. Face was flaky. The next day, had a make up artist try to make the color more even on my face but it was a disaster. I spent a lot of time trying to scrub it off with little success. No one should feel stressed and be scrambling the morning of a big event. Let alone now feel insecure and bad about themselves at a wedding over something that was supposed to give you more confidence. I had someone ask me what happened to my skin. I did complain and they offered to fix it but it was past the point. Gave them 2 stars instead of 1 for trying to make it right. read more

I sent Oasis a message via Yelp to request an appointment and they responded in minutes AND were able to accommodate a same day appointment. Frank, the owner was extremely friendly and went out of his way to explain their health guidelines. It made me feel comfortable. The so itself is beautiful and peaceful. I was able to relax from the time I entered. I received a one hour Swedish massage. Nancy was excellent and I plan to book with her again. It was one of the best massages I received. Her ability to relieve pressure was incredible. The staff were all friendly and social distancing was observed. All guests and staff wore masks the entire time. Jaime Taveras and Kristen were very attentive and answered all my emails right away when I was planning my birthday event now that is great customer service. I reserved an event space for my birthday and the room was set up nicely, everything was provided plates, utensils, wine glass, plastic cups, water, ice, tea and coffee for you to make. My friends and I all picked a package from the Spa party Roster a choice of 30 or 60min massage and 30 or 60min facial and the therapist all did a great job. The rooftop was a big plus and we had great weather that day we had a chance to hangout and relax on the rooftop, we also had a last in the steam room . My first prenatal massage with Veronica was relaxing and calming. My second was relaxing, calming, awakening, healing and invigorating all in one. I have decent experience with massages and I think my prenatal with Veronica might have been the best I had. Not only does she have great "bedside manner" (hey, massages can be intimating), but she knew all the right pressure points and how to alleviate them. She also gave me feedback on how to walk and stand better with my growing belly and other ideas on what to work with. If you're looking for a prenatal then you are in very good, safe hands with Veronica. I'll definitely come back even post pregnancy. Why did I knock off a star? The spa can use some updating. Women's bathroom feels old, and doesn't feel well maintained, the relaxation room is nice but people can be really loud in there which doesn't foster the best experience. I wish they would enforce it more especially with loud parties. And today when I came in I shared the dirty elevator with 2 people lugging huge boxes and smelling like sweat. Part way through my package (in my robe and noticing the room fill up with ppl as I wait..) they came and cancelled part of my services. No explanation offered except they were "very busy". It has been a long time since I was able to have full spa treatment. I had the body scrub, Swedish massage, and facial. It was an incredible, relaxing experience on my birthday. For the massage, I was given the option of male/female. I booked only a week before, so I wanted to let them schedule whoever was available and ended up with a male masseuse. He did a great job, and at the end gave me pointers for keeping my back from getting tight on a daily basis.
