I'm not sure what the quality of the work would have been, as they worked really hard to make it impossible to get hired. . Weird, I know. When I first connected with the scheduler, she advised me that the initial visit costs $165, and if there is a second visit and/or parts needed, this amount would be deducted from the final charge. Ok, makes perfect sense. What doesn't make sense is that the business never provided a proper itemized estimate. All I could get from them was "Remove existing motor, replace with new motor". No parts listed, no labor cost breakdown... We went back and forth three times, but the business was never able to provide an actual estimate in a way that is not only commonly accepted, but also allows a customer to decide whether the estimate is competitive or not. When I finally connected over the phone with someone who claimed to be the owner, he told me that he's too busy to provide estimates to his customers. And he added the usual bullsh*t too - "those parts are so expensive, I don't know why 'they' gave you such a low estimate", "I have 19,000 customers", "we are an honest business"... Makes you wonder what is that he doesn't want you to see. Does he charge 500% markup on parts? Does he charge 6 hours of labor where 2 would be the industry average for this job? Who knows? The owner certainly doesn't want you to. 10 minutes on Google reveal that the part costs a little over $100. He asked for nearly $900. Now I know why he's so intentionally vague. read more

I have had very good experiences with Mike and his team over the years at Oasis HVAC. A few years ago when we first moved into the house, another HVAC company provided maintenance to the system while disconnecting the overflow drain switch on the AC coil pan. Therefore the unit ran for days and flooded our downstairs DEN. Oasis saved the day, reinstalling the switch and fixing the system. Now our old system is 19 years old and makes no sense to pay $1,000 to fix it so yesterday we decided to replace it. Mike came out to look at the old central air and heating furnace unit which is in the upstairs of our bungalow. Seated horizontally, it was going to take a lot of work to get the old unit out and the new unit in. We selected the American Standard (highest rated in the industry a.k.a. Trane) 80K BTU 2 stage furnace/central air and an American Standard 3.5 ton 13 seer A/C unit outside. The team of 5 guys came out to install it just 4 days after signing the contract promptly at 7:00am and completed the entire job at 2:30pm. They had originally thought it would take a day and a half. I also elected the annual maintenance which they come out 2 times per year and will also cover labor, along with manufacturer's hardware warranty for 10 years. The units are EXTREMELY quiet, you cannot even hear them run. Especially being outside and entertaining the patio. My electric bills are also expected to decrease significantly. The 19 year old previous system originally purchased from Sears was costing an additional $400/month just to run in the summer to to mention the old freon was $220.00 per pound. I am VERY satisfied with Oasis HVAC, quality product, quality service, attention to detail, professional and courteous. They also don't change extra for after hours emergency maintenance and have been easy to reach in the time of need and arrive at the house in 1-2 hours after creating an appointment. There was a number of equipment that started to give in after hitting the five (5) year mark. Some systems might well pass due for their maintenance schedules and I failed to think about them sometimes. Our basement furnace was one of the machines that just didn't sound quite right. I contacted "Oasis Heating and Cooling" due their consistent high rating on Yelp and hoped to get a solution to the problem I was encoutering. Scheduling was professionally done. Requests could be sent via emails and the office was prompt to respond with their availabilities. When it came to the appointment time, the folks arrived at a reasonable time frame and were ready to work. When one of the technicians recommended us to get a new furnace, I understood it could seem like he was trying to up-sell me something that I didn't need. However, when he also laid out the estimate to just replace the motor of the furnace, for me it was better to have a new furnace that would render stable heat and possibly could help reduce the gas bill altogether. Since I chose to have the furnace replaced, the maintenance fee was waived after I approved the estimate. By the way, the estimate was itemized and I was able to view it in the email. I liked it how transparent it was. It detailed the warranty on parts and labor, which I was ok with the perks that came with and thought the cost was competitive in comparison to what other companies in town offered. The system, since the installation, has been running pretty smoothly. It no longer made the unsettling noise that I used to hear every time I turned the heat on. That gave me a peace of mind. Nowadays we spent way more time in the house because of the pandemic and my infant son, anything that contributed to the house could be money worth spending in my opinion. I would consult "Oasis Heating and Cooling" again for other potential maintenance projects that would be needed in the house for the spring/summer seasons. This is just an absolutely fantastic company we've been using them for a really long time the owner Mike great and has really created a wonderful company that is so responsive and so great. They help my mom constantly with a tough A/C situation. Now that I'm in my own condo my heat went out in the middle of this cold . They came out within a couple hours and more able to figure out it was a problem with Wiring from the nest to the system which I had had suspicions there was something wrong with the nest for a while. Promptly fixed and now system is working great . Could not say enough about this whole company, highly recommended!!! read more

I cannot recommend Oasis Heating & Cooling enough. My heater wouldn't turn on during one of the cold spells he had this winter. I called them, well knowing that it might take them a couple of days to come by. The operator was so kind and made it happen by the end of the day. I appreciated her ability to sympathize with me (we had a crying baby in the background) and she called all the employees to see if there were any openings. I appreciated her so much for that! Once we got someone out (that same day) they ordered the part within hours and were ready to come back the next day. However, the problem turned out to be a huge People's Gas problem in the community and we had to cancel the order. The owner made sure to keep in contact with us to make sure the issue was resolved with People's Gas and that our heating and cooling system was working. I appreciate them for their promptness, their empathy for a young family (who wants baby to be cold?), and for checking in. We will continue to be costumers. Pro-Tip: join the Oasis Club- for $20 a month they come out twice a year to check your system and winterize it/ set it up for summer. You also get 20% off with any service. read more

Excellent Company, Great Service. I had a central AC unit crap out the night before a heat wave. I called at 10:30 at night - they answer the phone 24 hours - and chose not to have emergency service but Mike called me at 7:04 in the morning to schedule a time THAT SAME DAY to repair my unit. He came out at 9:30 am, diagnosed it right away, and brought the right part with him "because it's usually this part" to make a fast repair. Fast, simple, done. Just prior to the heat dome starting, my air conditioner gave out. Oasis was able to send someone out the day after I called them. I could tell they were really busy. They called me the morning of to let me know they had a lot of appointments that day and they would be arriving a few hours late. They texted me when they were on the way and fixed the problem within 20 minutes. The guys they sent were polite, professional, and even found an issue with the other air conditioner that would have caused flooding if left uncorrected. I was nervous because I've been told so many things about my air conditioner needs to be replaced and it would cost thousands of dollars but Oasis said that that was unnecessary and that just the capacitor needed to be fixed. This long overdue: Replaced 2 AC's, thermostats, and did it insanely quickly. When I messed up the thermostats-they came right out. (Sat/Sun/etc) Any-they guarantee their work. THE BEST!!!! After two weeks, $400 (to another company) and multiple misdiagnosis we have a brand new furnace. Did I want to spend $3,800 on a new furnace one week before Christmas? No, but I felt confident in doing so with Oasis. After calling on Sunday afternoon (someone called me back within a couple of hours) I was set up for a Wednesday afternoon appt. Oasis is so slammed because of the frigid temps that the owner Mike took my appt. He showed up on time and was professional throughout. Long story short, someone from the office delivered a part we needed. It was determine that wasn't the issue. Mike worked diligently to determine the problem. It ended up being much much bigger like a new furnace. I was told this at 4pm Wednesday night. It is now noon on Thursday and my new furnace has been expertly installed. I can't say enough good about Mike, his crew and Oasis!!! Update! New service 2020! Mike and his team have done it again!!!! I had a great experience with Oasis back in December 2014 when our furnace (in a previous home) decided to die in the middle of a record cold snap. Mike was the. Only. HVAC contractor to call me back!! Fast forward six years. Our ac ( new home) was not pulling its weight Tuesday. At 4:30 am I used the HomeMend app to request a service appt. I selected the 10 am slot. At 6:30 am Mike called and asked if he could stop by then as it was a busy day. Of course I said yes!!!!! After a thorough investigation of the issue it was determined that the 23 year old AC needed to be replaced. Mike offered the 7 am spot on Thursday. Had a great experience with Oasis across all dimensions - price, service, timing, and expertise. We are in a new construction condo and have had issues with the developer's own handiwork so wanted to use an independent HVAC company to fix some issues around our smart thermostat and humidifier. The tech, Danny, did an excellent job in diagnosing and fixing our issues. He showed up on time, followed all recommended protocols for COVID, and was extremely detail oriented in examining and diagnosing what was wrong. He found a few different issues with the furnace installation and set up (beyond what we were aware of) and explained to us in detail all of the items he was fixing and the root cause of the problems we had called about. Everything was addressed within ~30 minutes and there were no additional parts required so we were only charged what was initially quoted to us for the diagnostic visit. On pricing for Oasis - we didn't go with the cheapest option we found because we wanted to make sure it was done right the first time but Oasis was definitely much more competitive than some of the quotes we received. Given how easy it was to schedule, the fair pricing combined with high quality service, and the knowledgeable tech, we will definitely use Oasis again for future HVAC needs and routine check-ups. read more

We have a new home and needed our AC unit, which we were unfamiliar with, serviced when it wasn't working at the start of summer. A different HVAC company came out and told us they could not help us because there was a lock on the unit. We then spoke to three additional companies who told us the same thing over the phone. Finally we hired Oasis. They had someone come out on the same day we spoke to them and were able to remove the lock and fix the issue quickly! I was able to schedule them within 1.5 hours on a Saturday. Tech arrived promptly with a mask on and immediately put on booties without asking. I explained to him the symptoms and showed him where the thermostat and furnace was. He was able to fix it in about half an hour (collector was full). As emptying the collector is part of preventative maintenance, he performed the rest of those tasks. He then showed and explained to me what he did and charged me the agreed on minimum. read more

I purchased a brand new AC from Oasis and the AC unit and the labor were expensive, but I understand new large capacity AC units are expensive and it was needed. My old one lasted 20 years. They replaced my AC with brand new AC unit and told me there was a 10 years parts and labor warranty- it was stated in the paperwork as well. 10 months later my Brand New AC unit was not cooling and making a loud motor humming noise. So I called Oasis and they refused to service it, they acknowledged it was only 10 months old and under their warranty. When I asked about the warranty they said it is for 10 years but they refuse to service it. Do not do business with them. Very unprofessional. read more

Today, Naem came out for my A/C inspection (I was a little late this year) and he was very courteous, right on time, and efficient. I want to recommend Oasis Heating & Cooling...especially their tremendously professional, timely, friendly and expert installation technicians Amir and Naem. They made an awful situation in blazing heat right with professional and credible installation of a brand new Bryant cooling system and compressor. Our air went out on the Friday night of Labor Day weekend and it was scorching. The company was out the next day to diagnose the problem and make the first available appointment to rectify the issues caused by our former HVAC guy (Dr. HVAC - do not ever use him as he is shady - lying to us that we were out of warranty and as the Oasis inspector that Saturday the worst installation of our previous unit he had ever seen). This was later confirmed by both Amir and Naem. I would definitely recommend this company as legitimate and highly professional unlike our last aforementioned Dr. HVAC (use him at your own peril - I am discussing what happened with the BBB as he refused to accept responsibility when we tried to go down that route). I do not anticipate any future issues with Oasis and our warranty and everything that they will do if we have any future issues. Again, try to get Amir and Nael if you need experienced and friendly installation technicians. They were both great in what was a nightmare situation for our family. read more

Oasis Heating & Cooling is unbelievably great -- 5+ stars for both their customer service and expertise. We own a 4-flat which has separate AC and furnace units. Unlike other HVAC companies that upsell you and then don't deliver (avoid TDH Mechanical at all costs), Oasis truly worked to save us money at their own inconvenience. Manager Hani was awesome and showed up as promised (convenient text from company notified me he was running a few minutes late) only to suggest I should shut off the unit for 24 hours so he could more accurately diagnose the problem. He made himself completely available to work around our schedule the next day and again, he was there as promised. He completed the job recommending the lower cost fix for the repair. I had a great experience with Oasis. Originally called out another company to service my rooftop packaged HVAC unit, and they determined that it needed to be replaced. Got quotes from 3 businesses total, and Oasis was the most competitive, responded quickly, provided multiple options, and were the most communicative. After the unit went in I contacted them again because things didn't seem to be working optimally, and they came back out immediately (twice). Things are now working great (writing this on a 90 degree and very humid, but you wouldn't know it with how nice and cool it is inside) and I'll continue to not only use Oasis for future servicing, but recommend to friends and family as well. read more

This review is for the service I received in Jan 2017. I picked the company because it had good reviews but am disappointed. Pros: easy to schedule, friendly technician Furnace was making metal grinding noise and it was not blowing out hot air. Ishmael came out to look at the furnace and diagnosed it with broken blower motor. He replaced it with an off market model. No problem. One month later, the furnace started making noise again. After several messages. I was able to get Ishmael back to take a look.He said he put a temporary solution (inserting a piece between the motor and adjacent metal piece) and that he will come back with the "rubber cushion for the screw on the heater". He never reach back despite several message and phone calls. A year later, the furnace stopped working again. Had a technician from the building look at it and was told that it is the problem of the blower motor again, the replacement model is not fitting the best and that temporary piece should not be there in the first place. read more
