I was vey disappointed! I came in for a pedicure with gel polish. While I was being serviced the technician tried to discourage me from what I wanted. She told me to get regular clear nail polish instead. I always get gel and I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I was offended when she discouraged me from getting what I asked. I've never had someone talk me down as if I couldn't afford the service. For $65 all I received was a basic pedicure at best. My pedicure was not what I'm accustomed to getting, especially for the price I paid! Also my sister paid for more than what she asked for. She originally asked for a full set at $65. They talked her into an acrylic overlay on her REAL nails instead and charged her $75. When it came time to pay, she asked why the high charge and they said $10 extra for painted tips (which was never specified during the service). They were very rude and careless . The prices weren't shown in the store and we felt mislead. Overall we would never advise (at least a person of color) to get serviced here. We did not feel welcomed and what we paid did not reflect the outcome of what we received. This was our first and last visit to Oasis. read more

So I decided come back and do full set , so the lady who start working doesn't even know what she is doing 25 minutes can't find her staff my appointment at 2pm she start 2:30 . Long story short the way she works maybe she did full set a years ago slow and you can tell from the person if she is experienced or Not . This lady horrible I don't know why she is working there or who gave her that license . I went in for a mani-pedi, and my nails were done by Anna, who did a fantastic job. However, I couldn't wait for the pedi to end. I'm not sure, but the woman who worked on my feet might have been the manager. The experience was so awful that I didn't even want to ask her name. When I got there, she had me sit in the chair to soak my feet. She turned on the faucets and then walked away. The water quickly got scalding hot, so I pulled out my feet. When she came back, I told her about the temperature, so she shut off the hot water and blasted the cold. Then she walked away again, and after about 30 seconds, I was able to do the soak. Then the water started getting uncomfortably cold, so I pulled out my feet for the second time. When she returned, she adjusted the temperature a little, then as she was talking to another technician, dropped the nail brush into the water from where she was standing, splashing me. As she chatted, the brush kept bumping against my legs, which was not very pleasant, so for the third time, I pulled out my feet and waited several minutes for her to start. The worst was yet to come. Maybe she had a dull set of cuticle clippers, but she yanked on my cuticles FOUR TIMES. If this has ever happened to you, you'll know it's painful. I actually had to ask her to stop. She moved on to the massage, but I was so flinchy by then that I couldn't relax. I figured the rest of it would be harmless, but while she was painting my nails, she stopped to run over to her cell phone and take a call. She came back and continued with her conversation while she worked on me, and I heard things I didn't need to know. Honestly, I have never in my life had someone be on their phone while doing my nails. If you do go, ask for Anna, who was lovely and professional. But definitely avoid the woman in glasses and a wig. I've been coming to the salon for over a year now and every time I come the price gets higher and the quality of my nail sets get worse! I stoped going for a while because of this but decided to give them one more shot and that was a HUGE mistake . I just spent $80 for my birthday set for them to come out looking horrendous they are uneven super thick, wide (due to him using nail tips wider than my actual nail )and extra glue in my nails . Really great service, all the ladies were really nice inside. Not sure the guys name who did my nails but he took his time and did a great job taking off my pervious gel-x and leaving my nail bed perfect for a simple gel manicure. He told me he never does gel manicures and it was my lucky day lol well he should do them bc he was great at it!! I appreciate a lot when they take their time and make sure to do a good job. They did a good job in regular mani pedi and their price is reasonable. They were accommodating and it was easy to make an appointment.

I'm so hesitant to even leave this rating because all my previous experiences here have been great until this one. I got to the salon at noon and just left at 3pm. It took 3 hours for a basic pedicure and an acrylic fill (plus gel removal). It has never taken 3 hours for these services ever in the past. The woman I had was incredibly sweet and kind, however she was struggling to do my nails, which I assume is why it took 3 hours. They turned out really bad. She did not sand down the acrylics by my cuticles so they are way too thick and chunky at the base, the acrylics are also bumpy and uneven along the sides, the polish has bubbles in it and is not even along the sides or at the cuticles. She did about 5 coats of polish to try and make it look better, so I asked for a fan to help dry the polish since there were so many layers. They told me they don't have fans. So I blew on my nails for about ten minutes to dry them. No one else in the salon seemed to notice how much she was struggling or the fact that I was there for a full 3 hours, which is quite honestly unacceptable. My nails look like I did them myself at home. She also hurt me multiple times and left me with a cut. I should not have been charged for my service. I'm planning to return during the week and ask for my money back. read more

This used to be my favorite local nail shop. I noticed as of late that they didn't have time for me. Today I came in after not having been here for a while and was completely insulted. A young boy who I had never seen before was rattling off in his language and uttered "J.Lo". Unfortunately, I was the only Latin in the shop at the time and I was a little more dressed up than usual as I was coming from brunch. Needless to say I was offended that he wouldn't think that I could piece together that I was being made fun of. Don't get me wrong I think she's a beautiful woman none the less. Worst manicure ever, the guy cut my cuticle pretty badly. Instead of using alcohol and cotton he wiped it on the terry cloth towel that they use on everyone. I told him that's not sanitary but he told me not to worry about it. Blood got under the nail polish and he said it stopped bleeding so don't worry about it. I finally had to ask for alcohol to put it on myself. When he finished, he brought out the hot moist towel and got blood on that too. It's just gross that they don't care about getting blood on their towels when they use it on other people too. Never coming back. read more

I honestly dont have high standards for many things but nails are really important for me and my job. After trying soooo many places in Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and NoHo I keep coming back here. The salon is extremely clean (one of my main worries), has 2 sections of regular polish, more than a handful of gel (and its matching regular), and super down to Earth workers. This place is not as loud as many salons and the technicians really feel you out if you want to talk or not. If you are, great a new best friend, if not, cool they don't mind. Both of the guys are VERY intricate and are super detailed if you want that; if not, LeAnne is my favorite. There's a shopping center parking with a lower level, but if you can, park on the street. I'm surprised there are so many bad reviews - people usually come after a bad day at work or something and are probably carrying that bad energy here. read more

I have gone to several nail salons in Burbank, but this is by far the best one so far. The staff is efficient and friendly. I've had manicures and pedicures and both last for a long time. The polish doesn't chip or fade like some other manicures/pedicures I've had. They take their time and make your visit seem special. It has a clean, relaxing environment too. I really liked this place for a while until I had encountered the elder lady who works there. She looked a bit older than everyone else and I feel extremely bad writing a horrible review but I really want to express my concern just in case this happens to any one else. I came in with my friend to get pedicures done. The lady who was assigned to me was nice but she did not do the best job. She asked if I wanted my nails to be cut shorter or just filed and I said "cut please". She asked "why? Its good enough"... so why would you ask me what I want if you wanna give your own opinion? Second, she did not use a nail clipper to cut my nails instead, she used a nipper (the pointy scissors). She even used the nipper to "push my cuticles" when she should have been using a pusher. What really pissed me off was that she got up to look at her phone and FORGOT THAT SHE HADNT CLEANED THE TOES ON MY RIGHT FOOT! When I asked if she was going to clean it, she said "i did already" and she even asked another worker to speak to me. They said that she was sure that it was already cleaned, she would "redo" it for me (which she did not), and she would redo if I didnt like it. I swore that she never touched my right foot but they insisted and so I just didnt fight it. Unfortunately, that will be my last visit to this place. It makes me sad since I really loved them but they need to hire better staff. My technician didnt even paint my nails correctly and she was also upset because I questioned her. Popped in for a last minute no chip manicure because I was in desperate need of some TLC for my nails. I had gotten acrylics about a month before and felt the immediate need to take them off and get rid of that weight on my nails. I was in the area for work and decided to walk in and ask for a no chip and acrylic removal. They were super accommodating and took me in right away. I have had some AWFUL experiences getting acrylics taken off, but the lady that took care of me was so gentle and made sure to stop if I experienced any pain. The no chip manicure lasted a solid two weeks and the only reason I got another was because it had grown out. Would definitely recommend this place if you need a no chip manicure. Took off one star because the polish seemed a bit thin and they maybe talked about how bad my nails looked in their language...but I could totally be making that up. read more

I love these girls but I do have a few gripes. One is that not everyone here knows how to do a proper gel manicure. I stopped coming regularly due to a poor pedicure and gel manicure. Many times they will rush the job and become annoyed if you point out a mistake. The last time I came in I was told" You're lucky we aren't busy". I'm sorry but my hard earned money is going to be well spent on quality work. I came back after two months to give them another chance but was disappointed. I paid $40 dollars on a gel manicure with design and crystal embellishments plus a $10 tip for the time taken on my manicure. The first moment I washed my hands the $10 dollar crystals came off and I noticed the tips of my nails did not have a top coat. I went here because my regular place was packed. It is a cute but small nail salon. It was warm in there (didn't seem like the air was on). I had one girl doing my pedicure and one girl doing my gel manicure at the same time and it still took over an hour. The whole time they were all talking to each other and not the clients. All of this is ok, what is NOT ok is that my gel manicure didn't even last 4 days! The polish started chipping on the 3rd day!
