He offered a full refund and invited me to order again and call and he would include a complimentary bahn mi. Ordered $140 of food and had 2 cocktails missing reached out to the restaurant for a refund and they didnt help said to call the delivery service even though the order was placed on 5spice website. I came here without high expectations but I was very pleased! We got the tacos and the banh mis to try. The tacos were very flavorful when paired with the salsa and fish sauce on the side. I didnt really like was how soft the outside shell was because it made it messy to eat as it didnt hold its shape. I used to go to the Nolita location on off hours occasionally. After my 1.5 year hiatus from nyc I learned there is a Gramercy location now. I desperately wanted a bowl of pho after racing NYC Half that day, and I knew I wanted to go to 5ive Spice. Since Gramercy location was closest to the race finish at Columbus Circle, I decided to head over. Mind you, there was an additional eight minute walk from the subway station, which was a lot right after a half marathon - I was quietly whined to no one while I made my way. When I'm here, I usually opt for the 5ive special, but I went for the classic beef this time because I wanted something lighter. The pho hit the spot just right - meat was tender, all the veggies were fresh, and most of all broth was so flavorful. It was heaven to my body craving salt after the race and so good that I didn't even think about adding Sirracha or lime midway to switch the flavor. Yeah I will love this restaurant forever.
