While visiting Boston we were looking for a place for breakfast, I opened up my Yelp app and came across this little diner. The atmosphere was charming. The staff was very attentive. The food was served hot and cooked as ordered I would visit again. Sorry no pictures of the food, we were hungry

Starting this review with the most important note - cash only. Yes, there is an ATM inside but it's got a fee. Just bring cash. When you walk in, it's been a seat yourself kind of atmosphere. The first area you see is a little bar type of area with stools to sit at. The rest of this quaint little place is spacious enough between tables. Two restrooms available. Of the three time I've gone there has only been one waitress taking care of everyone... but she's great and attentive just the same. The food is pretty decent for the price, it's not anything that is particularly out of this world, but you won't have any complaints and you'll be well fed. I requested the bacon extra crispy and was thankful it wasn't floppy. The pancake was nice and airy, the scrambled eggs were fine. Not a big fan of the home fries but that's just personal preference based on the potato type they use. I will definitely return.

Friendly service always! Menu is extensive breakfast and lunch and coffee is bottomless. We love OBs in Quincy.

Make sure you bring cash when you make your way to this little diner! They have an atm inside if you need it. This cute diner is my go to for breakfast/brunch in Quincy. They close pretty early too so make sure you check their opening hours. My favorites include the eggs blackstone benedict and it comes with bacon and tomato which I prefer over the traditional Canadian bacon that it usually comes with. The saltiness from the crispy bacon and tanginess from the tomato work magically together. The delicious hollandaise sauce on top just brings it all together. I also really enjoy their spuds & scram and Irish breakfast are both really good as well. Their strawberry French toast is great too. I'm usually not a big fan of sweet things early in the morning but this one is an exception!

We decided to give this place a try because Wheelhouse Diner and Newcomb both closed early. Our go-to dish to order at breakfast places would be an Irish benedict (benedict with corned beef hash). It wasn't on the menu but I asked the waitress if it was possible, she just nodded yes and wrote down the two orders. She did not tell us that there was going to be an extra charge to get corned beef hash - didn't find out until the end where she wrote $10 extra charge. Honestly, if we had known, we wouldn't have ordered it with our benedicts because it came out a little soggy, we honestly would have just ordered a side of corned beef hash in hopes of it being more crispy. The taste of everything was normal, it wasn't amazing so we'd probably stick to the other two diners since it can save us that extra charge no soggy corned beef hash. As for service, the "host" literally didn't even say anything to us when we walked in even though he was standing right by the door folding up napkins and forks. A hello to seem welcoming wouldn't hurt or just to simply say out loud that we can sit anywhere we like. He then proceeds to hand us the menus very unprofessionally and was not very greeting. Honestly, I had mistaken him as someone who can take our order because he didn't say anything like "your server will be right over".

Cute little breakfast spot. Staff were extremely nice. Our waitress was so sweet and wished me a Happy Birthday too. Our orders came quickly. We got the Breakfast Specials #1, 3, and 8 and by all accounts, were very tasty. Eggs were cooked as how we liked them. Pancakes were fluffy and warm. Toast was buttery. Sausages were also delicious with a slight crisp to it. Bacon was a little off but that's okay. Good atmosphere when we came in at around 8am. Not my first time here but definitely won't be my last! Overall, a lovely experience. Definitely recommend. Also, it's free on your birthday!

Great service with some good food for a decent price. One thing to take note of is that this place is good for a party between 2-4 people. Anything more than that, you will have some difficulty sitting together. The food was delicious. The staff was very attentive to every small need. It also helps to sit on the bar counters for faster service. Definitely would recommend for a early morning or brunch!

Cute little breakfast diner where you seat yourself. It is cash only but they have an ATM! Large menu with different varieties to choose from. I got the Hash & Cheese omelette and it was alright, the eggs were kinda overcooked and dry. The service could do a little better. Never came to check up on the table and when raised hand to ask for some water, the waitress handed me the check even tho we were only halfway done with our food. Parking is street parking but there is a parking lot across the street. Overall, just a basic breakfast place. Nothing wow and pretty average.

Ask the Community - OB's Cafe

Are they handicapped accessible for someone with a rollator?

Yes they are. Entrance has a very minimal threshold. The walkway is wide enough for wheel chairs. Tables are far enough apart to accommodate them. Hope this helps.

Do they have Birthday specials: as in do you get a free meal on your birthday?

Just need a valid ID and your birthday meal is on the house.

The tables are small and I was hoping to sit for awhile and get some writing done but it wasn't the most conducive atmosphere for this: no outlets for laptops, tiny space (only two small tables and then a kind of thin counter sitting facing out the window) and I didn't get the impression many people come in and sit for hours though I could be wrong. The biggest pro was that I had the best iced lavender latte I've ever had in my life. Seriously delicious and perfectly made. Would return for that alone. Service was fine. Not especially welcoming, but I wasn't put off either. Prices seemed fair. Will return.

Every place I go to accommodates this since it doesn't yield any extra coffee or product. This place said no, which is fine, totally their prerogative and I wasn't upset by it, just surprised. Sadly it was some of the most bitter cold brew I've ever had. Wow. I took one sip and even without sugar, a good coffee should sip nicely. It was so sharp that I returned it. I rarely return a coffee, especially at a small local place. I've only ever done it once before but holy moly. It just wasn't good. Lacked actual body and flavor, and was just bitter. It was such a cute place! I was so bummed. The guys behind the counter were nice, but the man with the darker complexion was an absolute sweetheart. Hopefully they have some locals who like their coffee, or maybe they should try a different bean for the cold brew? Either way, ended up at Dunkin next door, which made me sad, as I've made it a point to stop buying their coffee. C'est la vie

I've seen photos of the unique mousse desserts online but yesterday was the first time I decided to check it out. Their pastries look amazing. I was having a case of choice paralysis. I arrived around 2:30 and noticed that some of the croissant pastries were already sold out. I decided to opt for the seasonal croissant and I was surely not disappointed. The cross section looks great and the jam/filling on the inside does have texture so it's not smooth purée which was a nice change of pace. I didn't get to try any of their drinks but judging from what I saw at the other tables, I really need to try it next time. There is a self area on the left side of the store where there are utensils and the handles of the knives were HOT when I went to get one so you can definitely rest assured that these are cleaned frequently (but do be careful). We walked into a space with a self-serve layout that makes it easy to browse everything from flaky croissants and sweet pastries to freshly baked loaves and beautifully decorated whole cakes before checking out. The bakery had a clean, organized energy with a steady flow of customers moving through the line, and the spacious seating area made it a comfortable place to sit and enjoy a pastry with coffee rather than just grabbing something to go. The pastry selection is the main draw, with favorites including the coffee bun, ham and cheese croissant, hash brown bread, soft cheesecake, sweet potato pastry, and mochi donuts. We ordered a few items and found the croissants light and buttery, with a good flake that held up against the fillings. The sweet potato pastry stood out with a smooth, naturally sweet filling that was not overly sugary, and the mochi donuts offered a chewy texture that set them apart from traditional donuts. The cake display is equally impressive, featuring a variety of light sponge cakes and fruit-filled desserts that work well for both individual slices and special occasions. Coffee, matcha lattes, smoothies, and other café drinks round out the menu for a quick breakfast or afternoon stop, and the drinks paired well with the pastries without feeling like an afterthought. The bakery is clean, spacious, and well organized, with neatly arranged displays that make everything look fresh and inviting. Despite being a popular location, service is generally efficient, and there is plenty of seating if you want to enjoy your pastries inside. The staff moved through orders with speed, and the pacing of the visit stayed comfortable without long waits. Whether stopping in for a morning coffee and pastry, picking up a birthday cake, or grabbing a box of baked goods to take home, Paris Baguette offers a consistently wide variety of Korean-style baked goods in a comfortable café setting.
