On our recent Food Tour of the Strip District, our first stop was at Parma Sausage Products. We tried the Lon Zetta, Rustico, and Hot Sopressata. You could taste the subtle flavorings and the meat was such a smooth bite! Hearing the history of this family owned business was the best - with photos across the walls celebrating the rich traditions! The meats are still made on site with the small quality and heritage of the past generations! The current owner was happy to share his stories and ready to answer any questions we had. We all walked out with additional purchases to level up our charcuteries and sandwiches. I purchased the Bourbon Salami for $8. The prices are ridiculously good - especially because you are buying it right from the source! Make sure to stop in to Parma during your next visit to the Strip District!

When you order in advance, your order is all packaged up and ready on a shelf on the side counter right inside the door which makes it easy to grab. The only downside is that it could be easy to accidently grab someone else's order. Hopefully if that ever happens they are able to easily remedy it. It is easy to order what you want and the staff is friendly and amenable to you asking questions or asking for modifications. I did notice they tried to upsell a little bit (asking about wanting to make it a combo and asking about adding extras like bacon or extra meat). Not a big deal, but they also don't clearly state that if you do do that, there will be an upcharge. Hopefully no one is surprised at the end when cashing out. I love that you can get any of the subs as a bowl. I'm not anti bread or choose to eat low carb, but sometimes it is more appealing for me to eat it in a bowl like a salad so I like that it is easy to do that here. It's not so mini! I got the Famous Philly for my granddaughter ("regular" size). I was going to try the Famous Philly, but it doesn't come in the "mini" size. Sadly, none of their hot subs do. I lost my stomach to cancer, so I can't eat much in a single sitting, and hot sandwiches never taste the same when reheated. My sub was good, and my granddaughter (who is an extremely picky eater) said she liked hers. Trust me, she would have let me know if she didn't. The service was excellent again as well. The person who brought our order to the car apologized for the wait, but it wasn't their fault. The pickup time was 3:15 and we just got there early. The order was delivered right on time. The only thing I'll add because I know Jersey Mike's reads the reviews is the napkins. This isn't a knock on Jersey Mike's. It's just to let them know they need to be a little more cost conscious. For a regular and a mini sub, we got a total of (yes, I actually counted them) 22 napkins! I won't waste them, but Jersey Mike's might want to know they're losing money where they shouldn't be. Again, I'm not complaining about this, just trying to help them be a profitable business.

The patties were crisp on the outside and properly salted, cheese was abundant and perfectly melted, sauced on both sides of the patties with a quality burger sauce and the bun was soft and provided a slight sweetness to offset the unctuousness of the beef/cheese/sauce. This is probably the best smash burger I've had since Red's Good News. As a bonus, Federal Galley has a strong happy hour and some of the best outdoor seating in town. It's also perfect if your partner doesn't like burgers since there are constantly changing food options available at this food hall.
