Tint Crew in Buena Park sent me to Carmona's off Williamson, right by downtown Fullerton. I had a scuff on my front bumper and I was only there for a quote, planning to call three or four more shops between here and Placentia. Sergio wrote up the estimate, then walked out and actually looked at the bumper. Told me the simplest route would take care of it and did it right there at a special rate. No full respray I didn't need, no insurance claim, no leaving the car for three days and figuring out a ride home. I didn't make the other calls. Didn't need to. If money's tight and you've been putting off getting something fixed, drive down and ask for Sergio. He had every reason to sell me the bigger job and quoted me the small one instead.

Stephanie took a brief look as I walked the vehicle with her, but her experience was evident as she noted various areas and let me know they'd send over an estimate soon. The estimate itself was very self explanatory and Charlene was available for any questions I had, but the pricing was very fair for the work to be done. Throughout the entire process I was kept apprised of the status of the vehicle, including suggestions of where to save money, or not recondition since the area just needed a good polish, which was very much appreciated since that honesty is highly valued for people that don't know anything about body work! She also mentioned that there were areas not up to her standard so they reworked it! Needless to say, it looked like a new car, with a deep, glossy shine, fresh from the factory! I called Pops and Sons and not only did they give me a fair price, they let me come same day. I got there within 15 minutes of calling, and I was out of there in about an hour. They even had a taco truck there that day for their shop an another shop and they gave me free tacos while I waited for my car to be worked on. The tacos were amazing btw. The quoted price they gave us was reasonable. We were going to move forward with the repairs but then ran into issues with the driver who hit us. In the end, we have to get that sorted first. We came back the next day to pick up our car, and one of the workers put the bumper back on for us, was nice about it, and did not give us a hard time about not doing the repairs. When I called Topline, I spoke with Luis, and he told me that he couldn't really quote me until I brought in my car for him to take a look at it. So that same day, I decided to bring my car in for him to take a look at. However, prior to him looking at it, I took my car to another shop at another shop within that same complex. I won't say the name, but this shop took a look at my car and said I would also need to replace the entire mirror. When this particular shop got back with me with a quote a couple of days later, it was $1600+. When I took my car to Topline for Luis to take a look at it--first of all, he helped me to fix the side mirror in that moment so it was no longer bent backwards and therefore, drivable. He did this at no charge. And after taking a closer look, Luis let me know that he could fix the damage without replacing the entire mirror and that it would be about $200. I brought my car in about a couple of days later and Topline was able to fix it within 15 minutes. I was in and out. I'm grateful that I found Topline. I appreciate the extra effort he took to give me an honest assessment and that he did not just automatically say that I needed to change out the entire mirror. If you're looking for a body shop that does honest work at honest prices, I would recommend Topline.

I requested a full inspection ($150 quoted over the phone). By 10:30, after about 3 hours, my car had only been moved into the garage with the windows left down. No inspection had been done, no updates were given unless I asked, and the vehicle was never lifted or properly inspected. My car is otherwise very smooth, with only an occasional minor front-end squeak, no steering issues or shaking. Despite that, the staff member with tattoos (possibly the owner) began suggesting major issues and speaking as if he already knew the problem without any inspection or test drive. It felt like he was trying to guide the narrative toward serious repairs before anything had actually been done, which came across as unprofessional and dishonest. At that point I chose to leave. Mark apologized, agreed the situation wasn't handled properly, and confirmed I did not need to pay since no inspection had been completed. While leaving, the staff member with tattoos implied that "work" had already started, but nothing had been done on the vehicle at all, it hadn't been lifted or inspected in any way. Overall, aside from Mark, the experience felt disorganized and not transparent, and I won't be returning.

I got a few quotes before deciding to bring my 2014 Prius Plug-in here, and I'm really glad I did…read more They weren't the cheapest and they weren't the most expensive, but I felt like they charged what they needed to in order to get the job done I had no idea they even worked on hybrids because I never saw that mentioned anywhere, and I think more people should know. They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it.
