Visited it today for the first time and it was a blast: Liz understood what I need after I've described what perfumes I had used before, and she helped to find exactly what I was looking for. I loved two scents so much that couldn't decide which one I should get. Ended getting one from Versace and pocket version of D&G as well, so I can try it during my vacation trip. After driving past this place a million times to go to the tailor next door (I'm 5 feet tall and have a shopping problem - I go to the tailor A LOT), a friendly face offered me a coupon. My mother and I went in "just to take a look" and I left with the most amazing perfume. I didn't even realize how much I liked it until I wore it a few times! OC Perfumes isn't your average perfume shop. Especially not your average discount perfume shop! You'll be dealing with scent experts like Liz who specialize in helping you narrow down the 100's of choices by deciphering which scents you have a tendency to end up buying. For example if you love Michael Kors, by Michael Kors it falls into the floral scents with notes of gardenia. This is the most simple example of her/their expertise but I'm sure you get the idea. The shop is elegant and in a very easily accessible shopping area. Her 6 year old shop is in the newer center across the street from the Westfield Mainplace mall . It's on the same street/traffic light that you would use to go to the upper parking entrance to Nordstrom.(E. City Place Dr.). Basically if you're leaving Nordstrom you can drive across, directly into the parking area for OC Perfumes. The shop is on your left. Of course they have a great selection of men's fragrances too. The shop also offers a case full of scents for kids and teens! It's adorable. Finally, Liz is a sweet, patient person who seems to love what she does. I paid at least 25 dollars less than retail for my purchase. They have a promotion that gives you $5 for each person you refer who ends up buying perfume from the shop!
