The venue itself is beautiful, especially the outdoor patio--it gave guests plenty of room to roam and created a relaxed, open atmosphere during the ceremony. The venue provides bartending staff, catering vendors, and what appeared to be a party coordinator. While the catering was outstanding--the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly and attentive, offering a variety of authentic Mexican dishes--the bartending experience left much to be desired. The bartenders came across as standoffish and unwelcoming, which discouraged many guests, including myself, from returning for another drink. The coordinator seemed a bit overwhelmed but was clearly making an effort to keep things on track and honor the wedding traditions. Overall, this is a nice venue with great potential. With more approachable and hospitable staff, the experience here could truly be exceptional.

No. Instead, I was safe from insects all day, especially mosquitoes. Could I hear the waves hitting the shoreline? No, but I heard my wife's vows clearly during the outdoor ceremony and didn't worry about my hair going rogue in the breeze. Unfortunately, I had attended outdoor weddings that had limited ability to come up with a contingency plan. This detail was important for us to keep in mind when selecting a venue. It was also important that we had the flexibility in selecting our vendors, including our late night bites. I am a DIY bride that likes to be heavily involved with the planning so if you're looking for all inclusive this probably wouldn't be the space for you but I liked how available and communicative Emily was to all my questions. I also enjoyed the open house Saturdays from 9-11am which allowed me to visualize the space for current events happening leading up to my own wedding. I got to choose my own vendors/caterers that fit my budget and needs. I was also able to put up the papel picado (which was something I really wanted) but you must put them up and take them down yourself. The staff however sets up the table and chairs to your desired layout. The other benefits to this venue and why I chose it was it had a big bridal suite with its own bathroom for the girls to get ready, a huge kitchen with a fridge and stove for the caterer to warm up the food, and lots of bathroom stalls for men and women.
