The only…read moreproblem was when I put it on today with my crossbody bag, within one hour it had pilled where the strap crossed the fabric and was horribly damaged beyond wear. The fabric was obviously faulty, so I returned to the store for help in correcting the problem. Instead of help, I was told I could not return or exchange it, and in spite of my best efforts to make the store owner/manager understand, she kept reiterating the store policy and went so far as to threaten to call the police if I didn't immediately leave. As someone who lives on the island, I try to buy local and support our community. I have purchased many things in this store in the past; however, they have lost a good customer. A waste of hard-earned money and the most disrespectful treatment by a shop owner I have ever experienced. This is the worst customer service I have ever received, and I would warn anyone against a purchase here in the future.

I came home to San Diego with nonsummer clothes for some reason and Studio 1220 had everything I was looking for. I love the clothes here! Everything here is perfect for summer with a boho touch. Think Free People but more affordable! Also, the store associates are AMAZING! Thank you, Jess and Ellie! I will be returning hopefully one last time before I go back to the Bay to stock up some more!

They have a terrific paper selection, plus pens, wax and wax seals, Rifle products, watercolor paper and paint, and so much more. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. It's a charming place that paper and pen nerds (like me) won't want to miss! I'm sad that I didn't take any pictures (especially of their front window, which is always so cute!).

Perhaps she assumed I intended to steal something from them which is very sad and frankly pathetic. Considering at that point, I hadn't even touched ANYTHING yet! When you have such a store packed with tiny cute items you should expect people browsing around and admiring what you have, instead by harassing them and trying to make them uncomfortable you are just going to go out of business very fast. I ended up walking out of that store in less than two minutes not buying anything.

There is an indoor (wooden) dance floor but most people prefer to be outside on the tile. There is also a bar set up - and a plastic dome (for who or what?). Restrooms are downstairs by the arcade. Being upstairs provides a bit of a view - in almost all directions. It's a very nice atmosphere in which to dance (or enjoy any social event). Come check it out.
