Finally checked out Ocean One before a concert this past weekend. I will say, food quality was not great; comparable to Denny's or Ihop, but the prices were decent. We shared a margherita pizza and Cesar salad. Not terribly filling, but it was enough. The great thing about Ocean One though is the 3 for $14 cocktails! The drinks were sizable and VERY strong. We each had 2 in restaurant and took our 3rd to-go. I enjoyed a Moscow Mule, a Whisky Ginger, and a Long Island Iced Tea. My husband stuck to Jack & Coke. We were able to nab seats up at the bar. Ocean One Bar is the place you go when you're getting killed in the casino, on a strict budget, or heavily intoxicated. This place definitely has great deals, but the food reflects the price. They have great breakfast deals starting with omelets for $8.99. I came here for a quick breakfast and sat at the bar. The place was packed on a weekday, so I can only imagine weekends. It's first come first serve, so expect a wait unless you get lucky. Service was good. The staff did a good job with the crowd. I ordered a few items off the breakfast menu but nothing was good . Their options for their special are extensive and well worth the price. I was also pleasantly surprised at how nicely priced the food menu was as well. Honestly, great bang for your buck especially on the strip. Firstly, they're super busy so even if you have to wait for 20-30, your whole group should just be patient and stay near the host. Their $5 lunch items go from 11-5pm, and you can't go wrong with the 3 for 1 cocktails- but ours were so alcohol forward it became unpleasant to sip on (per someone who drinks cocktails weekly). Stopped in for lunch around 1.30 on a Tuesday. As a single, I declined the bar and was then sat at a high top that seemed to be thrown in when the restaurant was crowded. It was hard as perhaps 6-8 waiters walked by my table and it appeared they tried not to make eye contact. Food prices are only super discounted during lunch, so for dinner it felt slightly overpriced for mediocre food, but still much more affordable than other food options in Miracle Mile / Planet Hollywood. Inside is pretty basic, and the bar seating was a little cramped, but I'd deal with it again for some cheap drinks before a concert at PH Live. Service is quick, efficient, and relatively friendly. Keep in mind this place wants to turn tables quick so expect servers and bartenders to be efficient, not chatty. Located in the Miracle Mile shops near Pampas and Gen, it's a fairly large sports bar with big tv screens that serves cheap, no fuss traditional breakfast like omelette, pancakes, waffles, etc. We got there at 9:45am on a Tuesday morning and there were TONS of people waiting. You can go to the players club at planet Hollywood, and show a military ID/VA ID/DD 214, And they will give you a military players club card. You could tell that the tuna was fresh. I Could taste just a little bit of wasabi in it, but just enough that I knew it was there. Not enough to clear my sinuses.... The chips that came with it were light and delicious. Not greasy at all. The *3* mahi-mahi tacos were also very large, and pretty good, but the mahi-mahi was a bit dry. There was a delicious mild mango salsa, as well as a delicious avocado that helped. How in the heck are they doing this for only $5.99 a plate? The tacos also came with two different dipping sauces, and these helped, too. The white dipping sauce was not spicy, the other one had some heat to it. I pretty much stuck with the white sauce.. the rice and beans were also very good. I believe it was a jasmine rice. Very flavorful. First off, they do not let you bring outside drinks in, but they will hold them in a bag for you, which I really don't like or think it's fair especially in Vegas. I heard about this place when looking up best cheap eats on the strip and decided to check it out since my hotel was nearby. Literally you can't beat the $5.99 per entree and you get a normal portion! Some breakfast items vary in price and all dinner items cost more, but lunch is from about 11:30am-4:50pm daily which is what you want for the pricing. I ordered takeout specifically because my hotel was closeby, though it was a bit of a maze to find this place, still worth it! Do keep in mind that if you are dining in- no sharing. It's understandable and it's likely how they can keep prices so affordable because each person needs their own entree. I got takeout because I knew my kids would want some of my food and they wouldn't each a whole entree to themselves. The Best for the price!! Drinks are awesome too! We took some friends with us and they loved it. The best deal there is the Hamburgers. The flat iron steak was not as good as the hamburger but the veggies that came with it were great. I highly recommend this fun, clean and friendly restaurant with old time prices. read more

Bang for buck = 5 stars Overall food and drinks = 3 stars Came for lunch on Friday and was quote a 10 minute wait, although it took around 15 minutes. Got 3 for $12 cocktails. No sharing! Also got a $3.50 frozen drink so I had 4 drinks total. They're on the weaker side, but it's a good deal nonetheless. Calamari was good. The lunch steak was mid. Honestly it tasted like chicken. (The dinner steak I had last time was good though - see pic. The lunch one was different.) Their chips are pretty bad. Had to add my own salt. Guac was more like avocados. Potatoes were good. Lunch veggies were meh. My dinner veggies last time were good. Might just be based on the season. Anyway, 3 stars but I'm coming back. My mom and I stopped by here for dinner since it was walking distance from our hotel. We both were underwhelmed by our meals. I got the "jumbo" lump crab cake w/ a side caesar salad and she got the chicken club (not pictured). There was nothing jumbo about this crab and the presentation itself was sad. The chicken club was dry so my mom decided to eat just the chicken. After she took the breading off, the chicken was thin as paper! We most likely won't be back the next time we're in Vegas. read more
