We had a wonderful night at Ocean Prime on Friday. Beautiful dining room. Service was fantastic and our server Amanda was awesome. Food was really great especially the tuna tartar. It turns out that the scallop risotto and the lobster roll we ordered were among the new dishes on the menu, both were really tasty. We will definitely return!

We celebrated ringing in the New Year and another special occasion in style with a wonderful and quite expensive dinner at Ocean Prime. My initial thought when I made our reservation was to eat and race downtown for the annual pineapple drop, but it was a chilly night so we stayed at the restaurant. It was very busy, perhaps the busiest they have been so far. The staff was definitely up to the challenge and we had great service. I saw no issues anywhere else in the large dining room. It was pretty loud, but it was a roomful of people enjoying themselves, including us. For dinner I went with the Prime part of Ocean Prime with a meal I've considered my favorite meat and potato dish throughout my adult life, French Onion Soup, a NY Strip Steak, and a Loaded Baked Potato. It just doesn't get any better than this. The food was prepared perfectly. The soup was exactly the way I like it, very flavorful with a deep rich broth and melted Swiss cheese. At 14oz there was plenty of steak, cooked medium rare. My wife no longer allows me to order rare steak, that's ok, still a great steak. And with a side of a loaded baked potato and some asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, it was a complete and filling meal. My wife went with the Ocean part of Ocean Prime and loved her Chilean Sea Bass. Dining at Ocean Prime, what a great way to kick off the New Year.

Had a fantastic dinner this evening! The Prime roll was delicious! Kat, the bartender was very nice.

We had a Great dinner and cocktails on the patio with a beautiful sunset. It's a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for, it's well worth it. They also have a great happy hour and a three course dinner special before 6 PM.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner! Christine was a great server. The atmosphere was LOUD. It was hard to hear each other. But that could be because we were unfortunately sat at the very first table next to the hostess stand with lots of foot traffic and people waiting.

My husband took me here for Mother's Day. The food was delicious. The private label Oysters were served perfectly chilled. My husband had the Strip Steak and I had the King Crab Legs. My only complaint is my entree came with asparagus and baby new potatoes. My potatoes three of them, were raw. The crab was the star by far but I really enjoy a fluffy baby new potato. I also had to ask for butter for my crab. My husband really loved his wagu beef, no complaints there. All in all a boushy place with nice cocktails and upscale dining. Our wait staff worked well. The team was a little slow but they were extremely busy. Lot of families celebrating Mom. We're going to save Ocean Prime for special occasions.

This was our first time going. We went to celebrate our anniversary (which we mentioned in our reservation). The hostess greeted us with champagne. We happened to have the entire terrace to ourselves at sunset. Rose petals were at our table. There were mosquitos at night but not their fault obviously. Our server Austin was extremely attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. All of the food was perfect and exceeded expectations. We started with the calamari. Crunchy, well dressed, flavorful. I got the scallops with Parmesan risotto. Incredible, melt in your mouth scallops. Creamy risotto. My boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed his filet mignon with lobster Mac n cheese and broccoli. There was a lot of lobster in it. We opted for the butter cake dessert to-go and were surprised to see they put a special anniversary chocolate on top. The ice cream even had dry ice to keep it cold. They really think of everything. Valet was professional and attentive. 10/10 memorable experience. Thank you for a beautiful evening.

The only two things that didn't quite work for me were the vegetable paella and the mushroom toast, but everything else was solid to excellent. They also did a great job accommodating us with kids. We had a nice semi-private table upstairs, which made the whole dinner feel comfortable and easy for a group. Overall, it's a great place for both groups and date nights, and I'd happily return.

This time we opted for some bites and though the menus change seasonally, I would recommend anything featuring tomatoes. Previous Review: 5 Stars for the best cocktails on AMI, and a craft cocktail bar vibe you wouldn't necessarily expect here. (Plus, the service is AMAZING) We walked in (no reservation) after dinner one weekend evening and we were greeted by Matt, who found us a spot at the bar. He gave us menus and a "wellness shot" -- delicious little concoction to wet your palate! Right away I was blown away by the interior and the menu. This looked like it belonged somewhere in Denver or Chicago, but I was thrilled to find it on the island! Matt helped guide us to drinks we'd like on the menu. I ordered the Purgatory, made up of Bourbon, chocolate bitters, agave and premium mezcal. It was divine!! We also ordered some warmed olives, and they were hot and so fragrant. Definitely something I'd order again at the bar. I was stoked to see they have a veggie-specific section on the food menu and can't wait to go back for dinner. I'll definitely make a reservation though, as it was pretty full. Next time, in terms of drinks, I have my eyes on the espresso martini (off menu, but saw a pic on Yelp), and the kiss kiss bang bang. Thanks to Matt and Emily who helped us with our drinks along the way. Sometimes these fabulous craft bars can be pretentious, but the service here was a huge standout. Can't wait to return!
