So we came here accidentally but happy we did I haven't been to La Ocha since I lived in LA. So we get there bro it was already hot outside... going in here was like a sauna no ac nothing. We ordered orange chicken chicken chow mein sweet and sour pork mangoe sticky rice soda and Thai ice tea all coming out to 97$ the ambiance made me feel like I was in Thailand which to me was cool lol I'm sorry I can't escape the heat it was impossible to enjoy my food. The service was good attentive and nice I can't say anything negative about that. Would I go again? Maybe not during summer maybe during winter.

    Rice lover. Just like mommy!

Been coming here for years. And every year we say the same thing, "is it getting better??!" Keep up the great job Ocha!!

Food was good. Hot and fresh . I would come back bet again the coconut soup was super

Cup of Seven seas soup with a side of their rice.

Food here was once again amazing. The seafood in the soup was tasty, the rice paired with it was amazing & the Thai tea was the best drink. I would recommend this place to anyone & i can never get enough of this soup. Service was fast & the people there are very lovely & nice. The environment is pretty calm & there isn't loud music playing which i prefer it to be because i can have a good conversation without having trouble hearing. Try the soup next time you're here with the white rice, the photos do not do it justice

Sizes just in case you order online I asked for rice but wasn't asked which size and got 2 large instead.

Great service ! Order was taken correctly but I ordered over the phone and didn't know the different sizes offered. Thai tea was good and kung pao chicken.

The food doesn't taste good. Fried rice had no flavor. The seafood soup is just the name because it only has fish. Not worth it.

Are they open for dine in? No one ever answers when I call

They're closed on Mondays. However, good luck finding parking. It's always a hassle to find a spot.

Hello ? Does anyone know if Ocha is currently open during this quarantine? I've been trying to place an order for pick but don't get an answer.

I'm Laotian myself so it's always nice to support a small business like this. When we came during the evening, they had a lot of parking in the plaza so I just parked in the front of the restaurant. They were getting their windows tinted so there were works doing some work in the dining room. The restaurant was also busy too so it took like maybe 10 minutes to get seated. We started off with water, my wife with her Thai Tea and she also wanted the egg rolls. After our waitress brought it out, my wife ordered the chicken pho and I got the boat noodle. Our food didn't take long to come out, my wife chicken pho came out first and then my boat noodle came like 5 minutes afterwards. You get a great portion of noodles and meat on both soup. I had to ask for lemon for my wife since they didn't one to the table and also for the Sriracha sauce. I thought the boat noodle was delicious here and my wife loved her chicken pho. The service was good, remember that there only two waitress here so I would say just be understanding especially if they are busy.

I love the crispy edges of kai jiew, really can't get enough of it. This place has two kinds though: thai omelette (which looks like a common omelette but with ground meat inside and a brown sauce), and scrambled eggs (which looks like the 'thai omelette' that i've known from other thai places). Kai jiew / kai jeaw / khai jiao / kai jiaw (scrambled eggs) -- if you like those fluffy, crispy fried eggs that are mostly called thai omelette at other places, this is the one you want. They're not as crispy, but still fluffy and full of flavor. They're a bit pricey though, which i find a little weird since this is normally one of the cheapest dishes at most thai places. Thai omelette -- this egg dish is one i've only seen at this place. It's more like egg foo young than the thai omelette that i know. Still flavorful though. Crab fried rice -- one of the best! It might not be as full of crab aroma, but this is the only place where i found a balance in fried rice as both an entree and a side dish. Usually fried rice is either flavorful enough to be an entree, or slightly bland and best as a side. But Khun Dang's is the perfect middle ground: flavorful enough as an entree, but not so strong that it overpowers your main dish if you decide to eat it as a side. Chicken fried wonton -- nicely crispy, such a joy to bite into! Thai ice tea -- not bad, pretty okay. Not too sweet, and not the "packaged mix" kind. Thai ice coffee -- strong, reminds me of vietnamese coffee (in all the good ways). Service was warm and friendly. Got my order in half an hour, which is pretty good considering they were packed for sunday lunch. The place is nice for hanging out and chatting when it's not packed, but even when it is, the tables aren't arranged too tightly. The price point is a bit on the pricey side, but the quality and portions reflect it.

Since this place popped up first and had "Thai BBQ" in the name, I saw BBQ and thought cool let's try. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from the very beginning. The service was not good. The server and I had trouble understanding each other, so there was definitely a language barrier making it harder to communicate. She also didn't seem familiar with the menu since she couldn't answer basic questions. Just ordering was very frustrating. The tables didn't look properly cleaned either, which I should have taken as a red flag. As for the food, it just didn't do it for me. The peanut sauce was extremely watery. The garlic short ribs were honestly the worst part. They tasted undercooked and not good. I took one bite and I didn't want any more. We ended up eating mostly rice just to feel full. The shrimp dish was also disappointing. When we asked for something spicy, we were basically directed to the chili already on the table. The dish itself was mostly green beans with maybe 6 or 7 pieces of shrimp, and the shrimp tasted very basic. I also ordered the spicy beef combo plate, which came with steamed rice, but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to add a ton of chili just to get some flavor. The beef was probably the best part of the meal, but even that was just okay. Overall, I regret not checking the reviews beforehand because it definitely reflected the experience we had. I don't see either of us coming back.

The space inside looks pretty small, but it wasn't too tightly cramped or anything. I noticed that there were plenty of other tables that can handle large groups too. The menu is very big, with tons of food options to look into. For someone with a nut and peanut allergy, you have to be careful because this restaurant has several items with those ingredients and you definitely need to let the server know. I very much enjoyed the Panang (panam?) curry with chicken. The coconut broth with the mild Thai spices was just so delicious to slurp and drown out my white rice with. We also got the Pad See Ew, which was made so well! The noodles were slightly sticky and deliciously chewy with the flavors standing out. We also had chicken satay and the honey roasted ribs were tender and had a soy-sauce taste to them. They're well-known with their mango sticky rice, and it was super delicious! The mango was fresh and deliciously paired with the sticky rice. We are super thankful for the service we received by the staff and the wait also wasn't too long! The kitchen staff were efficient and working hard. PS Only one bathroom toilet per gender, one of the toilets were clogged the night we went so they let everyone use the other one. - Parking is in the back lot, shared with other businesses but we were there at night so there was plenty spots.
